Overall my experience was great and very straight forward. The mechanic had been delayed beyond the agreed time slot but when I contacted the helpline they identified and addressed the issue with my needs in mind. I would certainly use the service again

Good prompt and excellent service

Service, professional and courteous. Time of appointment was changed twice but I was kept informed and was also contacted when hw wS on the way.

Ease of booking the service at my home, the great price, great servicing by the individual and excellernt feedback.
Will definitely use again.

AA technician Gokul was very helpful and did a great job

Arrived on time. Very polite and informative. The gentleman was thorough and took time to find the issue which was intermittent. On the second attempt the issue showed up and the problem was identified although not solved on this occasion as my car will need a garage. Received good guidance once the issue was identified.

I have given 5 stars because the Mechanic was superb. However AA took an additional £52 from my bank account after the service was done and had been paid beforehand for £209.

I have to say I am not impressed.

The communication on the actual day was quite poor , had to chase them up when the time was getting late .
Having said that the technician was great quite happy to have a chat about anything, was happy to give advice on anything you asked for. He apparently travelled fair distance to get to my place, so that is a good plus point. Overall fairly happy.

Easy to book a partial service and after that smartcare confirmed the booking also kept me updated by email, on the day the AA mechanic called to let me know what time exactly he would arrive on arrival Dan was polite/ friendly and got on with the job and completed it efficiently.

the mechanic arrived on time. He was well equiped and knew what he was doing. He explained the problem to me and gave a clear diagnosis. This confirms what Mooney's Garage had diagnosed. The problem is know locating a rack and pinion part.

It took AA 3 weeks to fix my alternator and my appointment was cancelled and delayed 3 times. The first time, my appointment was cancelled on the day as the part was not available. I do not understand why this is the case as they knew that the alternator needed to be fixed prior to the appointment. Hence, the appointment was moved to the following week. The told me initially it would be from 12-2pm but no one arrived and so I rang and they said 2-4pm. It reached 4pm and no one came. I had to ring them 4/5 times to chase them up and it turned out they had written my phone number incorrectly and were never going to come on that day. To add further frustration, when rearranging the appointment they told me that they had not ordered the part and that it would take another week for the part to come. Further delaying the repair! An extremely disappointing service from AA.

The communication process was excellent Kevin rang me to tell me what time he was arriving and he was on time. The whole service was professional and a quality service plus excellent value for money at the end of service Kevin explained what he had done and just after he left I received his service report via email would recommend AA to friends and family.
