We had a wonderful time with Marco. Learnt some interesting facts in this short guided tour. The tasting portion was much more than we expected. We have been taken good care. Definitely worth to join one of his tours while visiting the area.

The cooking class experience in Puglia was the highlight of our holiday (after the cheese tasing tour). Our host in Locorotondo, Anna, was so welcoming as was her gorgeous dog.
Anna went out of her way to make this experience pleasurable, we made veal rolls which were cooked in a delicious ragu, focaccia and of course the pasta to turn in to orecchiette which was great fun, although we did make some very strange looking 'little ears'
The meal provided went far beyond what we were expecting as Anna had added a few additional dishes to the menu, and the wine was also very delicious. She had also baked a traditional Puglian cake for dessert as it was my 60th birthday, which was a wonderful surprise.
We left far later than anticipated due to the lovely time we were having, full to the brim and with a new friend for life. We had intended on going for a walk around Locorotondo but were so full we returned to our trulli for an afternoon nap.

Loved this tour at the Cheese Farm. Marco accommodated us quickly and really made the tour special. Every single person we encountered at the farm was kind and wanted to host us. Recommend highly. Don’t miss this experience…and come hungry!!!

Very much enjoyed this tour. The hostess and farm owner Rosaria was charismatic and very knowledgeable. Our tour started later than usual so we missed out on seeing the farm workers in action, but being guided through the production process and machines was still worthwhile.

Le groupe de 30 personnes que j'ai accompagné pour visiter la Masseria, realiser un atelier de orecchiette, assister à la production de mozzarella et burrata et ensuite dejeuner, etait ravi!!!
C'était une experience enrichissante, intéressante et gourmande. Marco qui nous a guidé tout au long a rendu la visite très intructive et sympatique.
Tant que guide je recommanderais sans hésiter!!

The communication by email is quick, efficient and clear. The activity was exactly what was expected (and explained by email in advance) and we had a great time with Marco at the wine tasting. You could feel transparent, personal anecdotes and facts during the wine tasting from Marco which we all enjoyed. Perhaps spending more time in the wineyards and tasting grapes from them could have been an additional activity to do!

We had such a magical experience learning to cook with our host Gaetano! He hosted us on his beautiful farm property, giving us a nice tour of his property and educating us on the practices of the region. It was an intimate experience with just the three of us and Gaetamo where we learned to make three types of pasta from scratch followed by a feast of a lunch with delicious wine. Gaetamo taught us about the region and introduced us to the tastiest local fare including foccacia, eggplant parmesan, mozzarella and burrata, cured meats and more and that was just the appetizer! We were so happy we got to learn together and grateful to Marco for coordinating such a wonderful time.

Our tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about olive trees, olive oil and the history of the area. We really enjoyed our experience and the chance to try freshly pressed olive oil.

Gaetano was a fabulous host and teacher who shared wonderful regional pasta techniques. We enjoyed the fruits of our labor and the delicacies of the region which were delicious. Such a passion for cooking ! Enjoy yourself as we did :)

We have travelled to the Puglia region of Italy many times, but have never experienced such unique and rustic adventures in this “off the beaten path” province.
Marco organized several food and wine centric experiences, which were awesome. We already duplicated the home-made pasta that we learned in cooking class. He was organized and passionate - a winning combination. Marco, we will see you again next year. Grazie, Vivian A.

We went as a group of 4 and marco looked after us very well. It was great to see the wine making process and hear about the family history. Marco is very friendly and great to speak to. The wine was all delicious we bought 4 bottles to drink later. Very good value for money.

We absolutely loved our olive oil tasting experience.
Our guide was very informative,passionate about their vintage producing olive trees and their boutique products.
The tastings have changed our future purchases of olive oil from the supermarket. Only the best in taste and flavour available from the Puglia region will be our guide.
We had products shipped home and arrived within 2 weeks.

Full participation of our group was achieved and we are grateful for our time with Marco, our host, and Umberto, our world class cheese maker!!! Thanks for fully engaging our small group, and making the effort to explain the process and subtle changes involved in cheese making. It was fun!!
Our decision to defer to a professional for our tour of Martina Franca was a good one indeed. We experienced the farm (Masseria) first hand from earthly elements to production. The capstone lunch allowed us to enjoy the fruits of our labor, have some local wine, and just be in the moment. The perfect ‘cheese and wine’ event! Excellent salsiccia crudo as well.
We’ve toured enough to know this does not just happen. Terrachevive is well organized and takes into account the skills and interests of a broad group. It is not an on line booking agency - it is interactive and this was beneficial to us. Also, their relationship with this farm created an experience that resulted in a level of engagement (and patience) that was just right for us all. No doubt some in our team will attempt to repeat the delicious Fresh Ricotta preparation process at home. Others will note the quality of their next barrata because they learned about its production subtleties and what to look for.
First hand experience provides great perspective on learning more about our world, and in this case, the great world of cheese. Thank you Terrachevive and Ciao Marco -
