We had a great experience with our olive farm tour, and wine tasting tour. Our guides were warm and welcoming, and offered a lot of very interesting information. The tours were easy to book and instructions for their locations were clear. We would use this site again for finding genuine local tours.

Fantastic experience biking through the olive groves with AnnaLou from Madera Bike Tours followed by a taste testing with L’agricola Montalbanese. AnnaLou was a perfect guide; knowledgeable, engaging and fun. At the olive oil tasting we got a tour and explanations of how the olive oil is processed.
Marco was a pleasure to work with as the organizer of this outing. All communication was prompt, friendly and clear! Highly recommend!

We loved our tour and tasting at Azienda Agricola Savoia! We walked among the olive trees, learned about the production process, viewed the ancient underground production area, and then tasted several varieties of Savoia olive oil. The facility was beautiful and the hosts were welcoming. We left with new knowledge and appreciation for extra virgin olive oil!

The tour was great and very educational. We learned a lot about olives and their cultivation. The underground olive mill was also great as well as the the tasting afterwards. Everybody was were friendly and warm and we enjoyed the time very much. It was definitly worth doing it. Thanks

We had a great experience doing a Burrata and Mozzarella workshop with Marco and his team in a masseria in Puglia country side.
We were 11 people and we were there for the birthday of a friend. We were very well received and were able to try amazing cheese and learn about the cheese making process hands on.
Communication with Marco was very easy and he was very responsive and helpful at all time. Thank you very much for the experience, 100% recommend it!

Notre accompagnatrice fut très loquace en ce qui attrait a l’histoire du domaine de l’olive. Bonne présentation de leur installation. Ouverte aux questions et pour finir une dégustation d’huile qui en mon sens a éclairé ma connaissance de l’huile. De plus les produits pour l’achat prix très abordable et de contenants 100ml. Dernier point aucune pression pour une vente.
Je recommande cette visite.

The tour guide and tasting host at the masseria were excellent. We learned a great deal about olive trees and Puglia; got to see some extremely old trees, as well as the ruins of an old mill and the equipment being used in the current mill. Well worth the experience.

Marco and his team were great. I was throwing a private dinner party for my birthday for 14 people and I couldn't have asked for more.
My mother has a lot of allergies and the team did not hesitate to find workarounds to ensure she is having a great time too.
Communication with Marco beforehand was very easy and he was very responsive at all times.
Even though the kitchen at the house where the party happened was rather small and inconvenient for cooking at a large scale, somehow the team did their magic and made it work.
The food as well was incredible!
I have been travelling around Puglia for a bit and wasn't able to find the same quality of food, especially of the selfmade Orecchiette, the bread balls and the aubergine.
Overall, I really do recommend booking an event with Marco and Terra che Vive.

Marco, our guide, was so friendly and full of information. Because I lived on a dairy farm in Canada in the early part of my life, it was interesting to see the life of the cows at this site in Italy. Marcus answered questions I had about the care of the animals. Seeing the artisans working on the cheese (and then getting to taste some!) was interesting. And, wow! We opted for the appetizers for lunch and the food was delicious and kept on coming! It was more than we could eat.

We had a great Time with Marco at Masseria Madonna Dell’Arco. He was a very good guide, explain us everything with a lot of détails, answered all of our questions. Everything went very well, the timing was perfect and we had the surprise to have a very good degustation at the end of the visit ! We did not expect that 👍

We booked the dairy farm tour and pasta making class as a group of six, including 4 adults and 2 children, aged 8 and 5. I was looking for an experience that the children could really get involved in and enjoy and this definitely fit the bill.
The tour took place at a beautiful Masseria in the countryside near Martina Franca where we were greeted by Marco and first taken to a wildflower meadow while he explained a bit about the Masseria and what we would be doing that day and we got to take some photos. We then moved on to a tour of the dairy, where we saw the cheese being made and were given some to taste. It was very interesting (and delicious!) and one of the cheese makers even made the cheese into little animal shapes for the children's amusement!
Next we had the opportunity to make and shape our own pasta, and were shown how to make several different shapes including orecchiette, cavatelli and more. We may not have been the most skilled at making the shapes but we all had lots of fun trying and the children loved this part of the experience, and with support we were all able to make some passable shapes in the end! We were then given our fresh pasta to take away and cook later on.
After we had finished with the pasta, we were given a tour of the farm where we were able to meet the various animals, including the dairy cows, calves, donkeys, deer, ostriches, geese, dogs, cats and more. We were also shown the trulli on site, and there were a few pieces of play equipment for the children to enjoy too. We were told to take as long as we would like to explore and then come back to the masseria when we were ready for lunch.
The lunch was both amazing and very generously portioned! There were several appetisers - meats, cheeses, bread, a tomato foccacia, some fried zucchini, some little meatballs, all delicious. This was followed by a pasta dish, and then a traditional dessert with pastry and cream, plus water, wine and coffee were included too. All of the staff were very friendly and pleasant.
We really enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend it with or without children, though if you are looking for a tour like this to do with children I do think this is probably one of better ones to choose. The whole tour was very engaging and enjoyable, and Marco was on hand to help and explain things throughout. A great experience for our family.

The whole tour just felt genuine. Communication leading up to the experience was great. Making pasta with a local chef was a lot of fun. Had never seen cheese made in front of my eyes. Farm animal tour and lunch also memorable. A highlight of our trip, for sure. Highly recommend.

We were a family of 6 and we did 2 tours with Marco. One was a cheese making class and the other was a focaccia making class. Both class were so great. Very informative and hands on. So much fun. You also get you eat what you make and more wonderful food. Go hungry, the food is delicious. Both tours are great for kids. My kids are 9 and 12 years old. Perfect for them.
