Temporary motor insurance policies are priced differently to annual policies, so can sometimes be more expensive.
The price you pay for our policies reflects the short-term and higher-risk nature. Unlike annual policies, temporary coverage doesn't factor in aspects like your no-claims bonus, which is a major reason for why costs are different.
Our insurers also have different ways of assessing risk. We understand the price might be higher than you expected, but this reflects the specialised service and coverage we provide.

Excellent for a day's insurance when selling, buying or borrowing a car
My car had been unused for several months, whilst I recovered from a small stroke. When the Tax was due to run out, and I needed to renew the MOT, I had to decide what to do. My annual insurance was not worth renewing whilst I was waiting for clinicians to tell me whether continuing to.drive was viable. So, I paid for 1 day insurance, booked the MOT for that day and got an appointment with 'We buy any car.com' to sell it. Was very pleased to find that it cost less than £9 and was really straight forward. I would definitely use them again.
