First time being victim of fraud
I am disappointed with TempCover due to a serious fraud issue involving my personal details.
Without my knowledge or consent, two insurance policies were taken out in my name for a vehicle I have never owned, hired, or driven. I only became aware of this after receiving a speeding notice, which was extremely stressful and alarming.
After contacting the police, Ageas Insurance, and the Insurance Fraud Bureau, it was confirmed that these policies were arranged through TempCover. This raises serious concerns about their verification and security processes when issuing temporary insurance.
As a victim of fraud, I expected urgent support and reassurance. Instead, the situation has caused significant distress, and I am still waiting for clear resolution and confirmation that no further policies can be taken out in my name.
I strongly urge TempCover to review and improve their identity verification procedures to prevent this from happening to others.
I would appreciate prompt action, accountability, and written confirmation that this matter has been fully resolved.
