The item and service from the seller was excellent, the greatest let down was the choice of carrier, DHL won't allow you to change the delivery until they've attempted to deliver and failed, I then chose one of their collection points this was confirmed and I was told I would receive a collection code when it been delivered, I never did. I went to the collection point where it had indeed been delivered the shop keeper then contacted DHL customer service ! where I was then put on hold for over 20 minutes. The carrier is by far the worst I know, way behind Evri, royal mail od dpd, I certainly would not use DHL .

Good service but article was slightly damaged during delivery

Shipping was v fast - pricing ok .
However the on line images and detail is lacking. This is an all plastic unit so only fed by live/ neutral lighting ‘flex’ no earth required . It is led so thats ok, but what is a real disappointment is that the cable feed is out of the end of the unit - you do get a connector block but the cable tail is only about 50mm.
When replacing neon tube light fittings as I am doing where you can choose where the cable exits the unit, this is a pain. The TechLed unit appears to be sealed

I purchased some light bulbs and one failed shortly after fitting. I contacted Tekled and asked to buy a single bulb. Without quibble, I was sent a replacement. That’s customer service.

The light fitting I bought looks exactly as described so no issues there. The casing to attach it to the ceiling could be a little more study. The connector box for the lights isn't really appropriate for this kind of fitting (there are 5 live, 5 neutral and 1 earth wire and the connector box only has one port for each wire type. If it was just 2 of each wire it would be fine but with 5 of each they don't really fit). But you get what you pay for and this was a really cheap price for a fancy looking light.

Great product, delivered in two days.

The design only allows cable access directly through the wall which, in most cases, is not possible. e.g. a house cavity wall which is plastered, decorated or with wall fittings. There should be access through the side from, say, an external junction box. I had to rake out a brick joint to get the cable in.
Once the back plate is fixed the light unit has just an awkward push fit on to it. The push fit is not very secure and would be so much better with a screw fixing method for maintenance access.

Unfortunately the items didn’t fit, so I will need to exchange the items.

Found the exact light i needed from Tekled. It was reasonably priced for 2 lights and the shipping was extremely fast. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again ☺️

I’m really impressed with TekLED as a company, particularly their customer service. They seem to uphold the kind of strong ethics that many British companies were known for a decade ago. My experience was positive from start to finish — from placing the order through to resolving issues that only became apparent a few months after delivery. I’d happily do more business with them in the future.

A special mention goes to their calm and patient customer service team. They didn’t try to place blame on me or make an issue of the delay in reporting the problem, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring.
