Taylor Walton Anmeldelser

We recently used Taylor Walton to support the purchase of a new property with the objective of completing before the stamp duty rise in 2025. Their professionalism and service enabled us to achieve our objective. We could not be more pleased with the service of Caroline Hume and her team. Thank you to the whole team - we are delighted!

Caroline Hume and her residential conveyancing team provide exceptional service. Practical and pragmatic, moving with pace yet diligence. Many transactions over many years, and our recent sale (27.3.25) was smooth and uneventful for us. Thoroughly recommend

I employed the litigation services of James Carpenter for a matter relating to my property.
James’s expertise and dedication was invaluable. He was persistent, fair and transparent throughout the whole process. He clearly explained the steps and always communicated and acted quickly. He really fought my corner and I appreciated his calm and professional demeanour throughout a challenging case. Most importantly I felt supported and had someone that was prepared to fight for my cause whilst at the same time showed kindness and empathy to what was for me a stressful situation. I would highly recommend James.

The service we received from Isabella and Saljuq was excellent, from initally laying out the options for us to successfully concluding the matter. I would recommend the team very highly.

Daljit Dale handled my affairs in a very diligent fashion, no complaints.

Caroline Grace and Jan handled our purchase. They were professional and knowledgeable. Our queries were dealt with promptly and the level of communication was excellent.

We used Taylor Walton for our sale and purchase. Caroline/Grace and the whole team made the process pretty much stress free.
Their communication was excellent throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Sharon Mackenzie and Nicola Green are an excellent team. Great people, great service and great team!

We used Taylor Walton for our recent house sale and purchase. Caroline and her team at the St Albans office provided a great service and helped us to have a smooth move.

Sharon and Nicole and team at Taylor Walton worked hard during the sale of our property. Their expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail made a huge difference. From start to finish, they made the whole process so much smoother and less stressful. We’d happily recommend their services to anyone.

We used Taylor Walton for the conveyancing for the sale of our house and the service received was excellent. Samina was particularly good in the speed of her communication and responses which reassured us that the process was being dealt with very efficiently by our solicitor. I would recommend Taylor Walton and Samina for conveyancing.

Overall, I would recommend the Taylor Walton Harpenden Office, who assisted us with both our purchase and sale.

My only criticism would be that everything is still conducted in a very old fashioned way, with all communications via template-based letters/emails and occasional calls (more often from us to the office). In this day and age, the process could be significantly improved (and made much more efficient for all parties) by investing in a client portal, such that everything is found in one place and all communications can be managed this way, as it was often the case that different members of the team were sending emails to us through the lead solicitor's email address, which doesn't help in terms of continuity of communications. Next time I move home (which I hope is a long, long time away), I will only work with a solicitor that has moved to this approach, as from speaking with others it sounds significantly more efficient and less stressful.

All that said, the team did get both transactions over the line as we'd hoped and did so whilst being polite and professional throughout, hence the 5 stars overall.

Taylor Walton acted as our Solicitor for both our house sale and purchase of new property. They have been very professional, thorough and helpful at every stage of the process. Special thanks to Caroline and her team for doing everything they could to help us and keeping us informed through out in this long and complicated process. We highly recommend Taylor Walton Solicitors!
Thank you so much.

Tom + Daniel were absolutely brilliant in our property conveyancing - responsive, efficient, organised, no-nonsense. couldn't recommend them more!

Tom and his team in St Albans are exceptional. Proactive throughout. Communications and passion for managing the successful sell/buy conveyance process from day one through to completion. Highly recommended.

Daljit dale dealt with the sale and purchasing of our new home and was amazing ! Extremely efficient , professional and always contactable .Always kept us up to date with progress every step of the way. Any problems she was on it straight away - no messing ! Which is what you need during a stressful time .
I would recommend her services to anyone considering a solicitor for conveyancing

I deal with the Harpenden office and could not find a better lawyer or group of support staff

Amazing firm, couldn't recommend enough! We used Taylor Walton for two separate matters and were very impressed with all the people involved. Firstly, there was quite a unique issue with the headlease of our apartment (and the other apartments in the building) and we had James and Howard take care of this for us. It took a long time due to a ****head freeholder and difficult legal aspects, as well as having to deal with 21 flat owners altogether, but thanks to Taylor Walton the issue was sorted and our flats became sellable again!
Once we had sold our flat we decided to use the same firm for conveyancing, as it would be easier having to explain to our purchaser's solicitors the legal issues we had previously had and the subsequent extra documentation involved in the sale, since they were familiar with it. Again, our conveyancer Shalina was amazing, both with our sale and the purchase of our new home. She was always chasing the other solicitors even without us prompting, and keeping us in the loop. I have worked in the residential sales sector for years, working with many solicitors, and this is the first time I have ever dealt with a solicitor who actually does their job and does it incredibly well and genuinely cares. We have recommended Shalina to our friends as well and will definitely consider using TW again in the future!

Tom and his team went above and beyond to help get a long and really complicated sale finally over the line.
There were lots of twists and turns and Tom replies quickly, is reassuring, very thorough and often helped other solicitors where necessary.
When moving house you need a solicitor you can trust to be quick, thorough and reliable. Tom Caterer is all those and more. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you so much guys.

Really prompt response to my initial enquiry. Ethan Diver was fantastic in dealing with my employment matter. He handled things so efficiently and kept me updated along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to use Taylor Walton in the future and would certainly recommend.
