I have tried for over 30 minutes to check out online. I give up, somehow the site is not working. I entered the information requested to check out online 4 or 5 times with no luck. The same information I had already listed (items, credit card, address, etc) but when I entered check out for the last time it never would go through. I am sick of spending so much of my time trying to do things online and using technology that does not work. I would rather go back to the "old fashioned" way of shopping before going through this much longer. It is a total waste of MY time.

They cancelled my order saying item was sold out. However the item is still available on the website. So likely they just didn’t want to ship internationally, even though they offer that service. Why offer it if you are just going to reject it? Disappointed.

I bought a pair of slim ankle jeans at Vinings Georgia store. Wore them once. When put them on next day, zipper didn’t work. Took jeans to the store expecting a refund or replacement. They said that’s against their policy. I’ve had a Talbots credit card dorm15 years and have shopped there for at least 30. This is not the customer service I’ve come to expect. I won’t be shopping there again and have told my friends.

Talbots is not the Talbots we remember. They were bought out. The quality is really subpar. They have forgotten their base— the 40+ career woman. No, or limited suiting. Just sportswear. And overpriced for the quality.

I have been shopping and buying Talbots for over 25 years. I stopped this year. The quality of products are horrible. They are mainly using polyester which is the cheapest and the worst synthetic material on the market. Shame on you Talbots.

I ordered two pairs of pants and a cashmere sweater. The pants arrived wrong size and one was the wrong color. How can you mix up purple and olive green?
The sweater was NOT in the bag but the invoice indicated it was. I don't know if I will ever receive compensation/satisfaction. I will not shop there ever again, although I have been a customer for 25 years.

I purchased a pair of Stretch Corduroy Straight Leg Pants Style # P263016552. I wore them that evening for a few hours. They stretched out so badly that I was concerned they would fall off. When I contacted Talbots to ask about returning them, I was told that they had not received many negative reviews online. Therefore, it was unlikely I could exchange them. No wonder I see so many critical comments here. I would recommend shopping at other retailers.

I ordered 9 items from talbots. I received only 3. I was sent email stating order arriving in week, When did not arrive call customer service, told arriving next day, did not arrive. Call customer service again this time I was told order lost in mail. I have spent hours dealing with this problem as they have long wait times, and frequent dropped calls. Be warned, not worth it. All this took almost a month of frustration

I order an item that ended up short supply so they cancelled it. It showed on line my size still so ordered again. With in-line customer service had woman who didn’t know how to work their system and struggled with the reorder for 15 minutes. She was Sniffling over the phone the whole time. Finally got the order corrected and asked if I had all I wanted to order. I agreed then decided I wanted to add a pair of pants. Her attitude was something else. “I ASKED YOU IF YOU WANTED ANYTHING ELSE. I ended up cancelling the order. She couldn’t have cared less.

I bought a final sale pair of sandals. I'm at 8 1/2 medium. They fit like a 7, narrow, I called to let them know. There's a problem with the manufacturing. I would be happy for an exchange item. They refused to consider it and told me I'm basically stuck with them, so I'll keep the sandal. I'll donate them. They lost me as a customer and warning to anybody buying their final sale items. If it doesn't fit, you've lost your money, and you're stuck with them.

I purchased 2 items online totalling 137.85 on Sept 4 2026. I received an email that my order shipped on the 5th. The charges cleared my bank account on Sept 8th. My bank account has another charge for 135.85 pending on my account for past 2 days. I wasted 30min on the phone w 2 reps to try and get the charge taken off. I am being double charged. Supervisor said she did not have the authority to remove the extra double charge and I will have to wait 3 to 5 business days for the HOLD on my money that I do not owe them to be removed. What right does Talbots have to hold my money? I won't be ordering anymore from Talbots. Horrible business practices!!!

Talbots is no longer recognizable. Men as customer service reps for a female only clothing company
; no Native American speaking agents to talk to that you can understand; no notification that an order was shipped, then never received the item. If going into a retail store, salespersons are sloppily dressed and clearly have no clothing sales experience on a professional level. Don’t see how this company will survive operating at such a low level.

They have gone downhill in every aspect. Their delivery carrier is horrible. You never can count on delivery. I got a package today and an item was missing but I was charged. I had to call and they had to track things with the carrier. They had no idea because there was no documentation.
Their sizing is not dependable
Quality is not what it used to be.
They now changed return policy to 30 days. They need to bring back the classy place to buy it used to be.

Talbots (Commenity) hidden credit card fees. Never had this before and I missed a payment (unusual for me). Once I paid the full balance on the CC there was still a fee for carrying the unpaid balance. It appears they calculate this AFTER you've paid off. Really?

They split my shipment into 2 and I was nailed with extra brokerage/import fees. If I'd wanted 2 shipments, I'd have ordered it separately.

I find Talbots an extremely frustrated company. They send out their Catalogues to Canadian clients and the clothes featured in the catalogue are often times not available in Canadian stores. To order anything from them is outrageous because the prices are in US dollars and they charge duty and taxes. From experience a 120.00 dollar skirt ended up being 500.00 dollars due to duty. I find this company appalling and taking advantage of Canadian consumers. Don't send catalogues to Canadians if they do mot plan on making all the clothing options available. Avoid this company!!!

Tried to return clothes to Talbots at St. Simon’s Island,Ga. store and internet was down again. Could not process any returns. This is a common occurrence with this location. Talbots needs to fix the problem. When I called customer service to report this concern, the person I spoke with could barely speak English and yawned several times during the conversation. Clothes are too expensive from this retailer to have this kind of service.

I have ordered from Talbots for several years with never having to return an item until the last order in July 2026, I ordered 5 items. Three of the items were unsuitable for me. I ordered online and attempted to return online. The submit did not work, even after many attempts. My daughter had to return these items. I will be very cautious about ordering again. Also, the quality of the clothing has deteriorated over the years. This is true of many of the stores as costs have risen.

The product - supposedly a mixed-media denim knit cardigan - was of a significantly poor quality. I am still trying to make good on their 30-day return guarantee! They first offered 15%, then 20% if I kept the garment. I do not know if they will ever make good. Stay away from this company - they seem to operate under a number of labels including Talbot's, Coco&Sydney, Mercer&Bloom, Susan&Michael. I am so sorry I did not look it up on Trust Pilot first.
