Ash is an amazing instructor as he is very patient and helpful. He also reassured me a lot when it came to my test which helped me pass first time! Learning with him has been a very beneficial experience and I feel much more confident driving now

My instructor helped me learn everything I needed for the test at a pace that suited me, and gave constructive criticism throughout, which helped me improve as a driver significantly.

Andy, my instructor, was great. He’s patient, doesn’t mess you about, and lessons don’t feel like a waste of money. He makes you a priority when your test date is near approaching, so I was prepared. He’s also honest, telling me if I was ready or not for a test, and especially between tests as he didn’t rinse me of cash, as we would take a break before I had another test date because he knew I was ready. I spent my time learning to drive with Grant Richardson who was a great instructor and so I would thoroughly recommend him for his calming and patient style of teaching and his willingness to adapt the lesson to my needs, allowing me to improve my skills and achieve a first time pass

Such an amazing instructor! After having a bad experience with a previous instructor Mick really helped to build back up my confidence, he’s so patient and explained everything really well. I never felt anxious in any of the lessons and always looked forward to them. Couldn’t recommend him enough 😊

After two very poor experiences with previous driving instructors, I was highly skeptical about starting again. However, Mike Linsell completely exceeded my expectations from day one. I started with him in October and passed my test first time in July, doing 2 - 3 lessons a week. From our very first conversation, he took the time to understand my past issues, explained how his approach would differ, and immediately put me at ease.

Mike is a truly student-oriented instructor. Instead of pushing unnecessary continuous lessons, he actively focuses on getting you ready to pass. What sets him apart is his collaborative approach. Every lesson started with a discussion where he asked for my input on the day's plan. As a learner who values having a voice, this was incredible. He perfectly adapts to his students' individual strengths, needs, and preferences - whether you want to co-create your plan or need step-by-step guidance from scratch.

Even when I made serious mistakes, Mike never spoke rudely. Instead, we calmly discussed the rationale behind my actions and reasoned through the correct approach together. This constructive feedback helped everything click.

Before Mike, I had a paralyzing fear of high speeds, roundabouts, and narrow country roads. No other tutor could help me shake it, but Mike worked his magic and I had absolute trust in his guidance. When I was too nervous and driving extremely slowly on tight country roads, he didn't pressure me. He gave me a few minutes' break, took the time to understand my panic, and then took me back out to guide me through it step-by-step. He coached me exactly when to accelerate, when to slow down, and when to pick up speed again until the technique clicked and we had a perfect experience!

Thanks to his patience, he also boosted my confidence on normal roundabouts before teaching me how to master complex spiral roundabouts. He broke down how to read road signs early so I always knew exactly which lane to stay in, and he even taught me how to navigate using a Sat Nav. We practiced on 70mph roads until my fear of speed and lane changing completely vanished. For maneuvers, his mirror-based techniques for reverse bay parking made it incredibly easy to understand exactly when to start reversing.

Ultimately, I passed my test the first time, and it was entirely down to Mike’s unwavering faith in me. His daily reminders of "You’ve got this" and "I have complete faith in you" were the exact words that made me believe in myself. He is not just an instructor; he is a supportive ally who is genuinely invested in his students' success.

My advice to anyone looking to book: Tell Mike Linsell exactly what your fears and strengths are, what you need support with, and what stage you’re at. He will work out a personalized plan that suits you just right!

I’ve had a few instructors over the years but Sean from System was the one that helped me to pass, I had 20 automatic lessons with him over 10 months and I found him to be very helpful :)

My instructor was Martin Smith, and I recons that with out him I wouldn’t have passed my test by now. From the moment I met him I felt comfortable in his car and confident to drive. I honestly could not have asked of anything more, thanks again Martin.

I'm super happy with my experience with System Driving School, I had the pleasure of being taught by Scott.B from late Feb and passed my test first time today! I was an older learner (35) and Scott was a fantastic teacher, he was always quick to spot any developing issues and knew exactly how to help me get past them, I especially enjoyed all the silly sayings like Harry before Gary, Bob and Tom. Scott was patient, polite and professional throughout. Their site had loads of useful learning resources, I used them a lot in prepping for the theory, the payment system and automated reminders were genuinely helpful. I ended up recommending them to my partner who wanted to do some refresher lessons, who has also had a good experience since doing so. All in all a great experience

Nick harden was my driving instructor and was amazing. From the first driving lesson he made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He taught me in just 4 and a half ish months and every lesson I walked away learning something. He’s so so patient and so calm. His calmness helped with every single lesson and every fault. He’s so positive, which again helps so much. I’m so glad I had him as if I didn’t I don’t know if I would have passed. If you are anxious please go with Nick. He’ll help any and every issue you’re worried about. His technique and explaining was easy and understanding. He would make sure you’re happy with everything and comfortable. Very great guy.
