Wanted to say thanks to my instructor Zub. He is very patient and calm, and always makes sure you understand what he is teaching. He explains things clearly and finds different ways to help it click. He taught me how to read other drivers and the importance of good manners on the road. I passed first time! He can be strict as the test gets closer, but that is exactly what helps you learn and succeed. Thank you so much.

I recently passed my driving test first time and genuinely couldn’t be any happier with how my driving lessons with Emma Jack have gone! Emma is a patient, kind, non-judgemental and professional instructor, always taking into account how you are feeling on that day. I am quite an anxious person when it comes to learning new things, but every lesson I felt safe and listened to, and always felt that everything was explained to me in a way that really helped me to understand. I couldn’t sing her praises any higher - thank you Emma🚙❤️

If I could give this driving school a -5, I would without hesitation. I strongly advise others to avoid them.

The instructors representing this company behave in a way that feels dishonest and unprofessional, and customer service was dismissive and completely unhelpful when I raised concerns.

My instructor was intimidating, which made every lesson unnecessarily stressful and uncomfortable. No student should be made to feel anxious behind the wheel due to the behaviour of their instructor.

When I requested a refund, I received less than half of what I paid. This was justified with so-called “cancellations” that were never confirmed or agreed to in writing, which is completely unacceptable.

Overall, this experience felt exploitative and poorly handled from start to finish. I would strongly recommend choosing a more reputable and transparent driving school.

My partner’s former instructor, John Skilbeck, does not know how to drive:

1. John was teaching to indicate two junctions away, making other drivers believe they could pull out of the closest junction

2. He was teaching the wrong method of reverse-bay-parking, and upon him realising he had been teaching the wrong method he tried to disguise the new method under it being a better way / the original method is not wrong. However, the new method was still not correct in that he told her to feel when to turn and did not give direction such as the back wheel being halfway on the next bay at the point of turn

3. John was reluctant to teach the emergency stop: I had to have my partner request being taught this; he said that it is something she will not need, but he taught the emergency stop and he taught it wrong: it was taught as having to press both the brake and clutch together from the start, instead of applying the clutch just before coming to a stop

4. John didn’t correct hands crossing the 12 o clock position

5. He told my partner that it is okay to cut across a roundabout, instead of keeping to the correct lane

6. John did not know how to reverse around a corner

My partner asked how many students he had passed, and John said one student but I believe he likely would not have had any students pass.

On top of the extremely poor tuition, John often had his hands down his boxer shorts and he kept his legs spread to the point my partner could not change into first gear.

My partner stayed with him due to the test being close, but in the end he cancelled with her after insisting to be taught the emergency stop. She was relying on me to correct his mistakes so that she may have a chance of passing.

Want to say a huge thank you and well done to Jason Willis for the skill, expertise and patience he has shown in teaching my son to drive.
Jason's adaptability and willingness to go that extra mile for his pupils really helps put them at ease as they are learning with him. Thank you

I’m so pleased that we found Stewart in Sevenoaks to teach my son. He has just passed first time after only a few months of lessons. He had no prior experience and Stewart instilled confidence and motivation in him from the very first lesson. I cannot fault him or Bill Plant at all. Great resources, flexibility and value. Stewart has been very patient and supportive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. I look forward to him teaching my daughter once she is ready.

Very good instructor for Leeds, Bradford area. Mohammmed Bashir explains concepts very well and very patient and friendly too. Would highly recommend.

I passed my test at Atherton Test Centre.It was a great experience with Mr Mutayyab Ali. He worked extremely hard covering from the very basics to being a confident driver on the roads. He was patient & collected through out all my lessons, had a very well-structured approach, well aware of the driving test itself and how to pass it easily with great tips and tricks. I attempted my practical test very late so my first attempt was also my last attempt and It wouldnt have been possible without his efforts and hard work.

I really did give up on my driving licence until I found Josh who via Bill plant was my instructor, what a privilege it has been to have him boost my morale drive up my confidence and restore my road agility, with only a few refresher lessons, his brilliant guidance has enabled my success and I owe it to Josh Winstanley, he is truly an asset to Bill plant and with him good word of mouth can surely keep the reputation of Bill plant steady. Thank you Josh, brilliant Guru and what a joy it was to ride with you.
Remarkable young guy with great maturity and simply so calm composed and reassuring to people with low confidence.

DAN B - HALESOWEN. where can i start. seemed okay on the first lesson however around 4-5 hrs were wasted doing absolutely nothing - learning thing such as what each peddle is for, how to steer, talking about random things etc obviously didn’t care as i was paying him not him paying me. He ended almost every lesson 10 minutes early despite having a 15 gap between each booking so i was not getting the full slot i had booked. he had some okay tips & tricks for performing certain manoeuvres. about 5-6 lesson in he starting acting like i am a professional driver and that i should just know things which just made the experience even worse, his attitude had vastly changed. He said he is experienced in anxious/nervous drivers - biggest lie of all time more like the opposite, if you made a mistake he would get quite frustrated/angry. He kept saying that i shouldn’t rush and book my test and that i should do it when he says - he just wanted to milk me fully for money and then book my test, there was nothing else i need to learn or improve on. To top it all off, he took me to the wrong test centre on my driving test day. As of this i obviously missed my test and my money and time went waste, as a driving instructor i will have no idea of how you can do this. This man is too egotistical and need to be more relaxed and humble. He also was adamant to blindspot checks but never done them himself. on the first lesson when driving back, his driving manner was quite aggressive quite ironic for a professional driving instructor. i only stayed taking lessons with him as i had come so far (all the progress made and time spent). if i knew he was like this i would’ve never ever chose him, in total around 4-5 must’ve gone waste from ending lessons early, learning unnecessary things etc. you’d think using Bill plant would be reliable but obviously not. i do not recommend you to use this company.!!!

AMAZING INSTRUCTOR! ( Mandy Matley) Just want to say what a perfect experience I had learnt to drive with this instructor, I would highly recommend using this instructor as she is a great person aswell as a learner and I couldn't of got what I needed done without the perfectionist Mandy Matley.

Instructor Mandy Matley is an absolutely amazing driving instructor. She was so lovely from the start and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease during every lesson. I always felt safe and supported, which really helped build my confidence behind the wheel.

She was incredibly patient, especially when I didn’t pass my first test, and never made me feel discouraged. Instead, she kept believing in me and pushed me to keep going until I succeeded.

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and would highly recommend Mandy to anyone learning to drive!

Couldn’t have picked a better driving instructor then Mandy Matley she made me feel comfortable straight away, she taught me so much and had fun while doing it we’d laugh about all sort of thing, with out Mandy I don’t think I’d pass 1st time! honestly if you’re struggling to find a driving instructor in Leeds please contact her you won’t regret it! 10 out of 10

My driving instructor was David Brown. I must say this man is an absolute inspiration! He is a true gentleman and I have a lot to thank him for! David took myself on as a student, after I needed a new instructor after my previous instructor sadly couldn’t keep me on for his own personal circumstances. And what an amazing decision I made! He helped get my confidence up and helped me pass. I passed my first driving test and that’s thanks to David! Very patient and helpful! Has done a lot for me! I 1 million percent recommended David as an instructor! What an amazing guy!

Had a great experience with Mutayyab Ali in Bolton. Was very helpful in my development of my driving and tried his hardest for me to reach the highest standard possible. He was also very accommodating when I went away to university and always had a space for me when I came back.

I had Kully and did my test in Wakefield. He’s a super sound guy and very pateint. He taught me everything I needed to know and can’t thank him enough for getting me that pass. Even when i had my doubts and nerves started kicking in, he reassured me that I could do it. I would highly recommend him to everyone learning to drive.

Amazing instructor (Mohammed Bashir from Leeds) - passed first time! Teaches things very clearly and is a great laugh! Could recommend anymore!

I’ve used Bill Plant for my lessons leading up to my test over in Greenock. My instructor was James Ferguson and he was extremely calm throughout as well as understanding. I would highly review.

Razwan was a great instructor, he made me feel comfortable driving on the road. He helped me pass in 2 months and a bit, I would really recommend going to Razwan Hussain top man 👍🏼
