Tamarah was great at organising, stayed in constant communication throughout and was able to resolve any issues I had. Would recommend.

Where to begin? Excellent throughout! We were initially skeptical about the programme and this was based on not knowing much about it. When we realised it was as good as it sounded we committed to it. After some back and forth to agree the best dates for each of the teams to come we proceeded.
Each aspect was quite simply exceptional. Anna was in touch from the earliest time coordinating every part of the project. Luca was our principal hands on contact and worked to ensure we understood timelines and set expectations ftom start to finish. The scaffolders and solar panels teams were professional and rapid. However we had most to do with the electrician and Heat pump guys as they worked. Matt , the electrician called me several times and sent pictures to check for agreement in where to run the wires. Ryan, Joe and Alfie as the heat pump team were pretty much next level. Whatever standard you would set as 'this is the exact standard I'd want for a team doing our home', these guys capture that fully . The standard of work , the constant checking with us and explanation of what each part does and the tidiness of our home when they left . Extremely courteous and hard working.

The work was done well and when they said it would. If something was going to be late or switch dates they would let me know beforehand which was excellent.
The project manager Tamarah and everyone were excellent and very good at explaining what was going on and she was always available to contact and would get back to me quickly.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The insulation installers NH Ltd, the heating installers Taggas, and the solar installers SJ all did excellent work and all were very friendly and helpful at explaining everything.

From first inspection to work starting was very quick.All the contractors turned up on time worked very hard and were very good with my vulnerable tenant.A big thank you to Micheal and the Switch team Newholme Energy Diamond Boilers SJ Solar Panels.I was very happy with the whole process.

Overall a good experience. I used them to install insulation and ventilation in a tenant's flat. The install date did have to be re-arranged several times due to confusion if scaffolding was required but the work was completed to a good standard so I would recommend

The worker's where always there on time and always very happy got the job done to a high standard and very satisfied with there work ,the solar panel guys arrived a day early and did the job very well and the scaffolding boy where really excellent there all a credit to the taggas team and my mentor tarrah was always very helpful she has vast knowledge of everything so we applaud her for her help ,mr AJ Urquhart

Tamarah was our project manager and I can’t speak highly enough about her and the help and advice she gave us. All the teams that came to us in the Scottish highlands were all great and very professional. They all left our house much warmer. Switch team was a great company and we were very happy with everything they did for us.

During May-June 2025 Switch Energy Network Ltd, in the capable hads of Project Manager Tamarah Varley and her team, supervised the installation of three measures to improve the heating efficiency of my home. In the Highlands of Scotland this traditional, stone-built cottage provided some challenges.
Without exception, everyone was considerate and courteous.
An initial overall survey was folliowed by individual detailed surveys; each included the provision of plenty of explanatory information.
The trio of insulation installers from NH Ltd worked very hand, adapting to the limitations of confined work areas. Their work was finished to a high standard and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.
The team from Taggas installed the air source heat pump system. They consulted me about the best location of each radiator, to minimise the quantity of external copper piping and they overcame problems presented by needing to drill through solid stone walls. They cleaned up afterwards and removed the old radiators and rubbish.
SJ installed four solar panels and the associated meter, capably in just a few hours.
I was kept informed on installation dates and durations, throughout by Tamarah (Switch Energy) and she always checked to ensure that work started on the due date. A final audit on behalf of the funders was carried out quickly and efficiently.
I have no hesitation in recommending Switch Energy Network if you are considering accepting an offer of this type of work.

Great set of trades. Insulation, framing, plastering squad very efficient and tidy. Another 1.5mm of skimming would have made a few spots perfect. Project manager Tamarah, was amazing lady, she solved any glitches without hassle and always on time and very organised. Heating and plumbing guys were top class also with air source heat pump. Once scaffold was up, Solar install was very fast and job completed in a few hours. A little bit more time/care could have been spent on solar install to make the job look aesthetically pleasing on completion. 4 Panels need adjusting (slight sag) , as they do have adjustable brackets up & down.? end caps on mounting rails and leaving the panels dirty after install. Overall the works were very well organised and executed in a timely professional manner from surveyor in early April to last trade leaving on 9 June.

Do not use these guys! All they are interested in getting their hands on the government grants for the install. Once the system is in you will get zero support. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for two years now with no success. They promise to call back and never do. I have just found out today from the manufacturer direct that the inverter that they fitted will not support batteries. They told me it would when they signed me up for the install and I made it clear that I wanted an upgrade path.

I am pleased to write a review. 15 days in total. The guys that come to my house have been brilliant. They were hard working, everything undertaken was with great care. The covered the furniture, & all flooring. They insulated all the inside walls, plaster board, skimmed all the walls with a perfect finish, ready for painting. Tidied up afterwards everyday, at the end of project all rubbish was taken away. Full marks for the plumbers Francis & mate heaters, boilers, heat pump brilliant job. Warm house already. Solar panels, scaffolders,up and running.
4 bedroom, 1 lounge & 1 dining room. 5 days. So pleased, I highly recommend this company. A special thanks to Kieran & Jack who organised all this.

Great experience with these guys. Being a tradesman and hearing the some reviews from other companies I was very skeptical about what the quality of the work would be like. The workmanship in the skimming, plumbing and especially the carpentry, from a professional point of view was very good. It was also a pleasure to deal with Anna Morrisroe who organised everything brilliantly 👌

Switch energy contacted me after I completed a grant form online for a grade G property to increase the EPC.
Everything was excellent, the communication was always clear and explained the process in a way I understood.
All appointments were as stated and everyone was polite and considerate.
Beatrice was overseeing the project and coordinated it extremely professionally.
All the contractors involved were polite and worked around the tennant and his health issues. The whole project was completed within 3 weeks and the house was completed to a very high standard.

From the very first instalment of wall to wall insulation, to new radiator’s in every room with the copper piping and the new boiler system through to the final product of solar panels being installed on the roof, I found Switch Energy and their different teams involved to be highly professional, well mannered and informative producing first class results all in. I cannot recommend Switch Energy enough. The main highlight for me was the close contact I had every week working with the project manager Tamarah Varley and her team. The lady was so helpful providing information on each instalment progress both by email and telephone which to me was invaluable putting me at ease each and every step of the way, a sheer delight to work with.

Please avoid this company if possible. They caused a lot of damages whilst completing the work. The workmen left broken jigsaw blades in my garden which I didn't realise until my 6 year old daughter walked in holding one. Would recommend using a different company.

Absolutely perfect, above any expectations I had, installation was quick and everything was done to a more than satisfactory standard,. Most grateful for everything that has been done.

This company were excellent. I am really pleased with my new heating system. Thank you Switch!

Im very particular who does work on my own house
The workmanship of Tamarahs team is at a very high standard .
Mine wasn’t the easiest, and im not easily pleased when it come to building work.
I’d prepared and had chases ready to conceal all new pipe work, everything has been installed exactly how I’d asked and wanted it
When I wasn’t quite ready, and decisions hadn’t been made by us , Tamarah moved my date, last minute.
This was very much appreciated
The cupboard I had for the water cylinder was really tight, Ollie from Tagas done a really neat job .
when I open the door and look at the work done in here I’m happy.
My solar panels were put at the top of my roof where I wanted them located
I’d told the lads from SJ who were installing them, I needed the bottom section of the roof, for a large roof window to the kitchen in the future
Even though it was a trickier install, they did it how I’d hoped
