Overall, I've been really pleased with the Sunbasket experience. My partner and I signed up because we wanted more veggies in our diet along with more variety. Sunbasket did not disappoint. We typically get one seafood and two vegetarian dishes. The recipes are easy and usually take 20-40 minutes. We've adopted many of the recipes (like the Japanese pancake) into our regular repertoire. The salmon dishes are often better than I’ve had at high end restaurants! Any issues are quickly and satisfactorily addressed.

I’ve been using Sunbasket for over 3 years and really love it. It makes weeknight dinners so easy! The options for meal kits is really diverse and everything we have had has been good, there are some really unique dishes. I also love the option for the ready made meals that I can just microwave at work for lunch. We have only ever had some minor packaging issues on occasion and that has always been very easily resolved with customer service. Overall we are very pleased with Sunbasket and recommend it to others!

The meals are creative - we tried several other meal kit companies, but came back to theSunbasket for its innovative, international food. Recipes are easy to follow. I like that I can set up my meals for several weeks, or cancel if needed.

I love Sunbasket - have been using them for YEARS! Love the convenience, love the options, love the freshness and the organics. Customer service is always very quick to respond and offer options. And Sunbasket saves me from having to shop so often. The best!

The food is stellar. The recipes easy. My 4 vs 5 star review is only because you do need to check ingredients and with some regularity an item is not up to par. Usually some small item that can be augmented. They are great about credits but it does take being up on it. But as a single person i cannot imagine not having sunbasket in my kitchen! Their sauces and recipes are great!!!!!!

Organic options and lots of ready to eat options. Pricier than other meal prep companies

Meal components are always high quality and fresh. The portions are generous and I usually have leftovers for lunch. The recipes are healthy and always changing so you don’t get bored of them.

If I have a problem, I can always send a message and will receive a reply pretty quickly.

I love the healthy organic options offered. They particularly have great vegetarian options. However, due to some allergies or intolerances it would be good to be able to change out some of the dairy or vegetables. It often means I cannot use some of the menu items. The proteins are always of high quality.

I love the concept and the recipes are easy and normally pretty good. The packing of produce is questionable, but many of the items sitting on the ice packs and becoming frozen and damaged. In the last few months, the freshness of both the seafood and the shelf life of the vegetables has been dodgy as well. A few times not making it to the weekend.
The variety of recipes that are at the base rate (not the higher priced meals) have been a factor in why I do not order a box each week anymore. I want to be able to make healthy and easy meals that are reasonably priced and different than a meal I made in the last few weeks.
Overall, my constructive feedback is delivery/packing needs improve by in quality control and choosing fresh items and recipes need more creativity lately, but the box is still the best on the market in my opinion. It’s still my go to when I start to choose my meals for the week ahead.

Sunbasket offers a good selection of tasty and healthy options. The site is easy to use and I appreciate the use of natural ingredients.

We find that the service is reliable and the ingredients are consistently fresh. We enjoy the variety of recipes each week. Sunbasket's menu allows us to stay within our dietary preferences. We have been a customer for quite a few years and keep coming back.

I enjoy the vegan options that are available every week.

The vast majority of the time the meals are very tasty and different than what I normally cook but with ingredients that aren't hard to find so I can duplicate them later.

Love the variety and healthy options provided by Sunbasket! We have had a few shipping issues (e.g., delayed shipments, damaged boxes), but the Sunbasket team has always been very responsive and offered quick resolutions. Happy customers for 10 years!

I have subscribed to Sunbasket prepared meals for a few years. Pluses are the organic ingredients, some very tasty recipes, and the ability to pick your meals. Also, they are easy to contact and very responsive when there are problems. Minuses, many of the meals are sold out immediately as soon as they’re released. I was told that this is because they can’t get the ingredients, which I understand, but if that’s the case why list them at all?This makes it very hard to find enough options that we like. . Lately, I am often missing an item(s) with no warning! No refund, just a credit on your next order. Also, I wish that they offered a “healthy” line with less sodium and saturated fat, most of the recipes contain quite a lot. Vegetarian recipes using lentils would be a nice addition. While’s it’s nice that they’re organic, kale and other greens in their recipes are often just a bunch of stems! Any Southerner can tell you to remove the thick stems of greens before cooking! Overall, they do a nice job, and I would recommend them to family and friends.

Food is always delivered on time and nicely packed, all the meat and vegetables are fresh and with a nice recipe card to tell you how to prepare each meal.

Excellent food and recipes. Best site that I found to meet several dietary needs--diabetic, gluten-free, and low sodium.

The ingredients are generally high quality, the recipes provide variety and show ingredients ahead of ordering. When there are rare issues, customer service has responded appropriately. On occasion, an ingredient has not been ripe enough for use.
