We have been absolutely delighted with Studia and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Studia supported my son throughout his GCSEs, where he achieved excellent results, and have continued to tutor him over the summer in preparation for his Cambridge University entrance examinations.

One of the things we have particularly valued is how personalised the whole experience is. Studia carefully shortlist tutors whom they feel would be a good match for my son, and he is then able to meet and interview them with us before making his choice. This gives him a genuine say in who he works with, whilst knowing that every tutor has already been carefully selected by Studia.

Every tutor he has had has been either a Cambridge or Oxford graduate or current student, and the academic standard has been exceptional. They are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also engaging, encouraging and able to challenge him at exactly the right level. In fact, every tutor he has chosen is exactly the sort of person my son would have hand-picked himself — which, with a teenager who has very high standards, is quite an achievement!

We have also been particularly impressed by the ongoing support from his Director of Studies, who regularly checks in with both my son and his tutors. It gives us confidence that his progress is being monitored and that there is someone overseeing the whole process, rather than the tutoring simply being a series of individual lessons.

As a parent, I also really value the fact that Studia operates through a dedicated platform, with communication taking place through the platform rather than privately between tutor and student. From a safeguarding perspective, this gives me considerable reassurance and is something I feel is a real strength of Studia.

Studia have been professional, responsive and incredibly supportive throughout. They have helped my son achieve excellent GCSE results and have given him the confidence, independence and academic preparation to take the next step towards Cambridge.

We are extremely grateful to Studia for everything they have done and continue to do for him. We would wholeheartedly recommend Studia to any parent looking for exceptional, personalised tutoring with an excellent level of academic and pastoral oversight.

By way of background, I have two daughters: one has just sat her GCSEs (Chloe), and the other (Sofia) is about to start Upper Sixth.

We first came across Studia when we were looking for some extra support for Sofia during her GCSEs. She joined their online group study sessions and really benefited from them.

Then, last summer, I relocated from Suffolk to Cheshire, moving my younger daughter, Chloe, midway through her GCSEs. As you can imagine, it was a hugely stressful time for her—particularly as the move also meant changing exam boards! Undoubtedly she’ll remind me for years to come about how I ruined her life … but I digress.

Studia was instrumental in getting Chloe through what could otherwise have been an incredibly challenging GCSE year. Natalie was an absolutely amazing English tutor, helping Chloe move from an initial Grade 4 in English Language (at the start of Year 11 in the new school/new exam board) to a predicted Grade 9. We get her actual results next week, so fingers crossed! Charissa was equally brilliant with Chloe’s Triple Science, transforming her confidence and performance to the point that she was predicted 8s and 9s across all three sciences.

Likewise, Studia has been fantastic for Sofia. Anree supported her throughout Lower Sixth and has continued over the summer. He will be working with her all through Upper Sixth as she aims for As and A*s in Biology and Chemistry in her exams in June 2027. Meanwhile, Emma is helping Sofia with English Literature. We’re aiming for a B—although perhaps even an A—and, with Emma’s support, we genuinely believe she can get there.

Suffice it to say, I couldn’t recommend Studia more highly. What really sets them apart, though, is the care they take in getting the right support in place for each child. If something isn’t working, or a tutor simply isn’t the right fit (through no fault of the tutor, I might add—they're all excellent), Elena is immediately on it. She will make sure she finds the right person for your child, while always keeping their individual goals front and centre.

For us, Studia hasn’t simply been about improving grades—although the academic results speak for themselves. It has been about giving both of my daughters the right support, confidence and encouragement at exactly the times they needed it most.
