Flight I booked was listed as Virgin Atlantic( operated by AirFrance)
Would have been nice to know which terminal at LHR to go to..3 or 4?
It is not easy to transfer terminals at LHR

If I could leave no stars, I would. They cancelled my last minute when I was already headed towards the airport, by chance saw my mail. And they mailed saying I have requested to cancel ( haha as if they would refund if I cancel). Liars! Also the promo codes they give don’t work

It’s was really easy to book my flight and cheap. It’s a great way for college students to travel weather they are studying abroad, interns in another country or just a trip to have fun.

Sent three emails regarding the amount of checked baggage I’m allowed but have not received a single reply. Website states 2 checked baggage included in the price but it does not state it anywhere else on the website after I’ve purchased. What’s with the ambiguity??? Don’t think I’ll be using them again

Booked flights online then 6hrs later receive an email to say they wanted photos of my credit card/Id etc and only then would they confirm the tickets at the current price (so not at the price agreed at the time I booked)

I have bought tickets and am hoping it isn't a scam but they do not reply to my messages and it isn't possible to see any confirmation of the all the passengers or the time of the return flight. My passport number has a typo but there is no way to update it.

My first time booking with studentuniverse was a nightmare. I don’t see myself recommending someone. For first timers you have to have a heart otherwise you will have mental health issues . Unfortunately these people are not concerned about our mental health. There is no transparency in all they do

Just thought it wise to give a feedback. Received my refund the next day. But SU needs to really improve its communication with clients. For the quick refund I will add some stars from 1 to 3

Terrible customer service. Don’t ever answer, or reply. When you finally do get hold of them they tell you “they will email you” I haven received any responses from any of my calls like they said. I’ve never had a problem using third party company’s travelling until now. Don’t bother. Go direct

Managed to find the most economical direct flight from LAX (UCLA) to LHR (QML) return, when every other decent airline was quoting £2000+.
I am flying BA non-stop for £1100 though needing to spend an extra £60 for checked baggage inbound and outbound.

This is single handedly the worst costumer service I have ever dealt with. I do not recommend them at all. Their website is laggy, I have waited on hold on 7 different phones calls just for no one to ever pick up , and i have been told the incorrect price of flights at least 3 times by employees who couldn’t even speak English. Also don’t expect an answer to any emails or phone calls in under 10 days. I would truly rate -5 stars if I could. I have never written a review on anything before, but I had to for Student Universe because of how bad this service is.

Booking was easy and the flights were much cheaper than on other sites
