This company loses a star for slow delivery and another for the phone not being answered and the mail box being full... but the order was delivered and it was accurate.

I'm afraid all the bad reviews are quite correct. This is a very dodgy company. There was never an answer to my emails and the phone messaging wasn't taking any more messages because it was full. They did finally respond via PayPal when I raised the alarm. I hear the costs incurred if PayPal has to step in is quite considerable to the errant seller. They sent a useless tracking no. with no reference to the courier, which they never clarified. Again through PayPal I commented about this and I told them that I would be escalating my claim with Paypal by a certain day and that was the day the glass finally arrived. It was amazing it arrived in one piece with no damage as the packaging was wholly inadequate. Bravo to the couriers, Arran Deliveries. I will never do business with this company again and highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your stove needs.

Only reason this business has any decent reviews seems to be a positive review bomb that happened in September 2019. Fake business. Doesn't ship. Doesn't respond to customers. Paypal dispute opened and trading standards notified.

I can’t give a zero but that’s exactly what I’ve had since ordering glass on 8th September. I’ve emailed twice after the 2 week wait time that they suggest even though they said In the email I should receive the glass by courier after 2/3 days. An email says shipped on 12tb September and provides a tracking number with no link to track. I’ve also called and left voice mail. Mail box is now full. Guess this is not a legit business any more judging by the other reviews that mirror my experience. Avoid!

Give this company a miss completely! They have been taken to court to pay for goods they had no intention of paying for!

Agree with everyone else. There is a legitimate company called stoveglassdirect without the hyphen. With the hyphen it's a rip off money pit.

Appalling service. Ordered 24th June still waiting..... 3 emails sent but no response. Countless phone calls ( mailbox full can’t leave a message). Please don’t get these confused with a VERY good supplier with the same name (no hyphen tho)

In May I purchased replacement glass for our multi-fuel stove online, with standard first class delivery and received an email the following day to say it had been sent out. At this point, i was very happy. The website said they were operating as normal but given the pandemic i expected a small delay. That said, when i had still not received anything over a week later, the temperature had dropped (so we needed a fire!) and the tracking info showed they hadn't even given the item to the courier i started to become concerned.

I sent 3 emails requesting an update and called several times that week but there was never any response and the mailbox was full so i couldn't leave an oral message but the website still said "Business as usual" and they were still taking orders. Eventually i sent one last correspondence stating that if they did not get in touch by 3 weeks from the purchase date (a further week from date of email) i would be forced to open a resolution with paypal and purchase glass elsewhere in order to heat my house. There was still no response, so i did as I stated and actually managed to find a cheaper option on Ebay which arrived in 2 days.

Over a week after the resolution was opened however (and after the Ebay item had already arrived and been installed) the original item arrived. It has a chipped corner (very poor packaging by comparison) and according to the tracking info it wasn't handed to the courier until a full 5 days after i opened the paypal case. There was never ANY correspondence to me from stoveglass. Not even a "Sorry there was a mix up" or "We got unexpectedly bormbarded" - Nothing. It seems they could however be bothered to provide paypal with the tracking info behind the scenes after it was marked as received (over a month after the site said i could expect it) and unfortunately this was enough for the muppets at Paypal to rule in their favour.

I have a young family and our stove is our only source of heat. I made sure Stoveglass were aware of both these facts when i contacted them, and am disgusted at the way they didn't even feel the need to respond, let alone apologise for the fact that my children were shivering in their beds!

If you need stove glass, do yourself a favour and use pofflepot on Ebay instead. The item i bought from him was cheaper, of much better quality, it had no chips and it arrived in 2 days, packaged well enough that it also made it in one piece. Plus he responds to emails!

Bottom line: I would never EVER use Stoveglass again and its restored my faith in Ebay.

Like me, you may think paying a little more to a brand company over a one-man-band on Ebay is a sensible decision and worth the extra cash for the implied service and reputation, with Stoveglass however its not. There is no service, and they clearly couldn't care less about reputation (or people!) either. You have been warned.

Scammers avoid. Placed order 3 weeks later no response. Just going back to credit card company for a refund.

Can’t see the point of taking orders, not delivering, not communicating unless your a scammer. Dreadful company

Ordered from stoveglass direct May 2nd. Nothing heard from them since they took the money. No reply to E-Mail don’t answer the phone. Unfortunately I am going to have to report them to trading standards etc..Thank goodness I paid with PayPal. I hate feeling like I have been scammed AVOID THIS COMPANY

Take your order then completely ignore you. Disgusting company practice. Avoid

Ordered my glass on 11th Feb looking at 2 working days delivery. Now 21st Feb and no sign. No answer to any email and highly unlikely to answer phone. Phoned and got an answer on 19th to say it will be here the next day. Called today 21st and been told its with hermes (not royal mail as told). Mentioned a few of his poor reviews and his answer was "some people go over the top with these things". Wish I'd checked first.
Reason for my delay was he's been on holiday and the glass will get here eventually.
Not worth the hastle to use this company.

Ordered a piece of replacement glass Thursday 30th Jan and received 2 emails, one from him and one from PayPal to say it had been dispatched. Nothing received Monday, Tuesday....... emailed and rang countless times. When phone was eventually answered, first time my husband was told his internet was ‘down’ so couldn’t check his orders? then when I rang I was told glass cutting machine was ‘down’ and emails re dispatch we’re computer generated (how with no internet?!) Rang again Wednesday 5th then Thursday 6th and he assured it was in first class post that day... 1 whole week later!
Rang again friday 7th... definitely dispatched but 1st class may take 2 days.
Fortunately, received this morning before the storms hit ... but sealed packaging says ‘stovecare products’ ... surely if he is cutting glass himself then it would be printed with ‘stoveglass direct’🤔
Would definitely not recommend as first class clearly means at least 9 days and could have bough from elsewhere much quicker !

Paid for first class delivery and got it the next day guarantee just like it said. Couldn't sign for the package due to work commitments but left it in a safe place for me.

Glass was cut perfectly for my stove as it was a foreign model stove and quite hard to get. No leaks, no scratches and good as new!

Recommended to anyone.
