Delivery severely delayed with no contact, paid for in dec due 9 Jan finally delivered 19 Feb but missing item, chased numerous times, got call backs promises of refund then promises of delivery of missing items, now stopped responding at all. Wrote an official complaint , ignored , chased soo many times on WhatsApp as requested, now stopped responding. Customer services is non existent , very disappointed as previous were good

I have been waiting for nearly a month now for my order. Nobody answers the phone or replies to numerous e mails that I have sent. I had one phone call from Gary, he promised me that my order would arrive at the weekend. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. I have asked for a refund. Nothing.
Such a shame, meat is great, but they literally cannot be trusted to deliver it. I am so so disappointed.

Avoid like the plague…

Similar experience to almost everyone else recently - orders not delivered, calls to delay and promise next, constantly blaming IT faults - even an email assuring they were not scammers (… “thou protesteth too much”…?).

Fortunately money fully refunded through Paypal (top marks to Paypal, very slick handling of complaint).

If I could go lower I would!
This has been the worst experience I think I’ve ever had or seen. Placed my order on the 25th March, order taken, payment taken. No contact whatsoever. I’ve sent 4 emails, multiple WhatsApp’s and still no reply. Was due to have it delivered a week ago, yet nothing at all!

Absolutely shocking, nice way of having your money taken for an order and then not even receiving the order! Shocking!

We placed an order on the 27th March which should have been delivered on Wednesday 8th April. We had purposely arranged to stay in as I had been told that someone had to be at the house. I couldn't get through on the pnone as no one was answering. Eventually managed to send them. and email and was told that their servers were down. We now have an updated delivery time for NEXT Wednesday 15th April l!!! Absolutely awful service and I regularly get 5 or 6 emails a day from them, clogging up my in box!

After 2 weeks of placing my order and being offered a delivery date for just after Easter, I was contacted on the day to say that my delivery date was an error (on their part! ) and being offered an alternative for a week later, which is not convenient to me. Unable to contact them on the day to discuss an alternative. Having to wait for them to see my WhatsApp message. Unacceptable after paying a £5.99 delivery charge. Since the order I’ve been inundated with free delivery options!

I’m totally disgusted with Stilton butchers ,they use to be excellent and now they are scammers ,James Morgan I don’t know how you sleep at night ,scamming your loyal customers ,you should be very ashamed of yourself to ruin a family butchers the way you have ,I’ve lost £130 ! ,it really saddens me that you’ve done this to a long time family business and just scam your regular customers ,such a shame ,

I have been waiting for my order since 3rd March cannot get hold of nobody went over to there premises at Newmarket no body at these premises either,they rent a place from Musk ltd but the owner of this company said he will give them my number to ring but heard nothing I would advise any body placing an order with stilton butchers to be prepared to lose your money stay well clear.

This used to be a great company with fantastic products but my experience of late has left me out of pocket. Meat products are still good but the company itself is full of empty promises, I will no longer be buying from here.

They used to be good.
Put an order in early in March and was given a delivery date of 13 March. No delivery, no communication, phone line continually engaged ( or disconnected), no replies to WhatsApp, email or FB messages yet I am still receiving regular emails about special offers!! Only option now is small claims court to get a refund. Will never use again.
Update (7/7/26): Complained to Bank and Trading Standards and have been refunded by bank as I paid by VISA.

Absolute sham of a company. Months and months of none communication and lack of any transparency.
It’s always apparently “the customers “ or the “the delivery company’s” fault.

Dreadful company. I have had nothing but promises over last two orders. Never received Christmas order, after that many rescheduled dates never received. Payment reclaimed via PayPal. Gave them a second chance, don’t know why….., order placed 1 March. Still never received, still so many promises. Am going to start another claim now. This company does not have any meat to dispatch!! Their adverts are all part of the scam to get your money.They do not pick up phone or respond to messages. Just occasionally you will speak to someone, full of yet more promises!!

Can’t believe there still selling on line ie Facebook.Totally useless service.Still not got delivery arranged for January.I can kiss goodbye to my money.
Please don’t use this company.Only a matter of time before they are investigated.

been waiting for order since jan 12th still not recieved it should of been today 1st april but still waiting its ridiculus imapensioner and cant afford to lose over £100 they owe me some money for missing items for dec order which was promised so went ahead and ordered for jan after loads of messages and phone calls voice messages from james and gary still nothing

Failed to deliver. Tried calling,emailing and WhatsApp, but no one reply’s. No info regarding delivery. Waited three weeks past delivery due date then requested refund. You need proper logistist specialist and more staff. If you continue this way, you will lose your customers

Totally incompetent at delivering orders on my experience. Every order has been late with the latest being placed 8th March and still no delivery or progress feedback. Take your custom elsewhere would be my advice.

I have ordered and received product before, this time no delivery notification, and no delivery. Have tried ringing, constantly engaged, and have sent several emails. No replies received. Many years ago had similar treatment from a different business. After no success 1 email a day became 10, next day 100, next day 1000. Then a reply. It’s amazing what a multiple resend can do!
