Wooden Flooring experience
I’ve been on the lookout for new wooden flooring for quite some time but today I finally found one, Sterling Flooring Department Uddingston were great and showed me loads of samples in different parts of the store to see it in different lighting and even brought some to my house

We visited Stering in Birkenshaw
We visited Stering in Birkenshaw, Uddingston yesterday to find a new sofa for our snug. We had to find a specific size and so our options were already limited.
The salesman Shaun Mecham was absolutely fantastic with helping us find a sofa that we liked and also suited our needs.
We returned today and matched the fabric to our flooring and placed an order. Nothing was any hassle and we were even rearranging footstools to see how we found them to match the sofa we wished to order.
Shaun is an absolute credit to your team and he was very knowledgeable and patient while we considered our options.
I look forward to receiving our new sofa in May.

Collection service
When an item is in stock and is being collected it shouldn’t take 2 weeks to be Co able to collect. No updates given left to customer to chase up. Positive is staff are nice at collection point.

Product incorrectly ordered
Ordered and paid for 2 bar stools mid November with a long lead time. I queried the receipt at the time as it said dinning chairs/counter chairs. The sales person assured me the order was definitely for bar stools. Went to pick them up mid January only to discover they had indeed sent dinning room chairs. So disappointed but the 2 stars are given due to the fact I was refunded.

If I could give a score of no stars I…
If I could give a score of no stars I would! I received a delivery and it didn’t fit, gave measurements to sales staff as I have dyslexia and can’t read the measurements, I was assured it would fit, it didn’t and now they want to take off £600 for having it in my home for one day! Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, they’re quick to take your money but their customer service is appalling and they make no allowance for having a disability.
*sterling furniture reply is nonsense, it was their customer ‘service’ department who was responsible for the extremely poor response to a valid experience

In the showroom on 29th dec the sales person told us our suite would be with us on 6th jan its now 11th jan and still no suite i got someone to take my old suite so we are sitting on dining chairs not very comfy for 2 oaps .

I bought a suite from Sterling and have…
I bought a suite from Sterling and have had problems with it from day 1. Initially, it was replaced because of a problem with the cushion (it would not hold its shape).
After the replacement, the leather started peeling on the single seater chair- we contacted the insurance company (recommended to us by the Sterling salesman when we purchased the suite), but they told us that the suite had not been cared for properly. Explained that we could not clean the suite as it would aggravate the problem and peel more of the leather off, but they blamed it on us.
We have put a complaint in on Resolver, but as of yet, have been ignored. Don’t know what else to do.

You have told us that you contacted the insurance company to report peeling leather and that they did not uphold your complaint.
May we ask you to contact customerservices@sterlingfurniture.co.uk so they can explain how your policy works. They will also ask you questions about your complaint and arrange an inspection if you feel this is due to a fault and not wear and tear.

Best quality and service
Best quality and service. David is Not a pushy salesman and so knowledgeable. We've visited on two occasions to search for the right sofa. Black Friday deals offered huge discounts. Every option available to us in terms of finance. We were advised for the best comfort and durability for our leather sofa. Family always buy from sterling due to the quality and styles available. We can't wait until March.
