Life Of A Cyclist Anmeldelser

So many things needed doing on my beloved Specialized Allez that a certain Wanstead bike shop advised throwing it away! Fortunately there is honest efficient Nathan in F Gate, who without fuss and for a good price fixed and replaced everything where it was needed. Now, my bike is back to purring like a Rolls! Nathan has a much deserved great reputation among bikers in Newham and Redbridge at least.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service.

Very professional & great customer service. Friendly & honest helpful advice. Excellent bike service.

Very quick and reasonable repair. Very personable bloke. Lifted the bike in and out of my car for me.

Read the reviews first and they don’t lie. Nathan did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend.

I needed my brakes checking. So I booked in online and took my bike over. New break pads where added and adjusted and he gave my bike an overall check. Got a messaged it was done and ready to collect, great service!

Brilliant service, lovely guy

Fantastic service. My bike is as good as new after a nasty crash. Thanks Nathan

New location, same excellent service. After a crash, I really thought my front wheel was a write off but took it to Spoke Shed to get it verified. To my surprise they were able to put it back together and it now is fine. A lot cheaper than buying new wheels. Great value and excellent, friendly service.

Nathan did a brilliant job on my Bobbin Kingfisher, carrying out the service effectively, plus doing a couple of adjustments that I wasn’t aware needed doing and replacing the bottom bearing, all for a very reasonable price. And he cleaned it!

Great value for money and fast service. Highly recommend

Lovely and fast service- brilliant and well priced service of two bikes that were in a terrible state and now work superbly. Would highly recommend

I have been bringing my bike here for 3+ years. The service is spot on, my bike has been maintained by Nathan to a really high standard. I highly recommend this workshop.

Made my bike 100% ready for the ride100. Really knowledgable and honest. Can’t fault. Pleasure to have my families bikes fixed here huge thanks Nathan

Brilliant service and bike is running like a dream. Whole experience is very professional

Helpful friendly advice, prompt service and reasonable prices.

Fantastic service. Nathan was so patient in answering my questions and offering advice on how to look after the bike. The service I booked was already much better priced than the high street chains, and what I really liked was that there was no attempted upselling. Added to that, it was a super fast turnaround and flexible pick-up time. Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely use Spoke Shed again.

We've been using Spokeshed pretty much since they opened. From the first visit, I was impressed with Nathan's openness & his willingness to explain what he was doing - not to just assume that as a woman I didn't know what he was talking about! I felt confident to leave my bike with them and wasn't disappointed. Nathan has done tiny jobs and much bigger ones for us on a range of bikes (including my partner's cargo bike). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (and have done, many many times!). My most recent visit was for a new chain and a basic service on my single speed bike - and as always, riding away, my bike felt like new again!

Brilliant service. Quick and local. Would definitely use again.
