Great! Saw the reviews but I had to buy it anyway but it is china based but arrived in only 2 weeks and everything was there and it was really cheap. Will buy again.

I have ordered three cubes from here now and they have all been fantastic. High level magnetic cubes (7x7, 9x9 and 8x8).
I do feel the website name is a little misleading as it implies it is a uk based store where as they are based in China hence why the cubes take around 2-3 weeks to arrive.
After I ordered the first two cubes I realised they were taking a while and that was when I realised they were based in China. I googled the company and the reviews were not favourable. I panicked and contacted the company.
Within 30minutes I had a detailed reply with the shipment codes/tracking numbers for Royal Mail and the cubes came as promised.
For the third order again the details on shipment and tracking were thorough and the item arrived safely.
I would recommend this store as I haven’t had any problems that others report, the cubes are great quality and the communication and tracking information has been excellent

Based in China not UK. Cubes arrived, cubes broke. Despite multiple emails to them they never once replied. Have had three shipments from them and we’ve had issues with each. Zero customer support and clearly no ability for returns.

I ordered two cubes from this store — emphasis on the UK website extension — which strongly implies a UK-based retailer. But like many other reviewers have pointed out, this company is actually operating out of China. That’s what really grates: the deliberate misrepresentation. They’re not transparent about their location, and that’s a serious breach of trust.

The packaging was poor, and although the items arrived after 11 days, I can’t verify their quality yet as they’re intended as a gift. From the outside, they look passable, but all the writing is in Chinese — so if you want to understand what you’ve bought, you’ll need a translation app.

This kind of location evasion isn’t just misleading — it undermines the basic expectations of UK retail. It makes returns, complaints, or warranty claims practically impossible. You’re left with no clear route to resolution if something goes wrong. Worse still, it exposes buyers to hidden import fees, longer shipping times, and potentially substandard or counterfeit goods.

For a genuinely UK-based alternative, I’d recommend speed-cubes with the UK website extension , based in East Sussex. Sorry can’t write the address as web links not allowed in reviews. At least with them, you know where your money’s going — and who to contact if things go wrong.

I just hope this is ok when opened otherwise I will have a very disappointed 13 year old on his birthday

I ordered a cube from this store and it arrived in the end with no stickers (yup it's a blank cube) obviously that makes it completely unusable. After emailing and waiting a good few weeks I ended up having to import some stickers all the way from Mexico 💀 (they're still not even here lmao). At this point the company had still not replied to my email. Eventually I took this up with PayPal and then the seller finally started speaking to me (a little Sus if I do say so myself) and in every email was trying to ask me to take down my PayPal dispute. There was a few backs and forths but we couldn't agree on an outcome (they weren't really meeting me in the middle at all). And despite the website having UK plastered all over it, it is not a British business, all the stuff came from china and all the emails were in broken English, no idea why they'd lie about that but there you go

Eventually PayPal have sorted this for me but I'm writing this for anyone else considering using the website. My item did arrive although not with all its required items

Moral of the story: don't buy from these guys and if you really have to do so with PayPal or a credit card so you have backup id be screwed otherwise

We still haven’t received the item and they are ignoring my emails. Parcel has been tracked in Heathrow for 7 weeks but they are unwilling to help sort it or refund. Now they just ignore my emails no idea what I am supposed to do now !!! Like everyone says not uk comes from elsewhere and never arrives !!! Scam !

The company are China based and the website implies a uk based outlet. I ordered a 5x5 cube. A 4x4 arrived and dispute requesting a replacement or refund neither has been forthcoming. I would recommend buying from elsewhere. I will certainly not be risking another purchase.

I'm giving this store a solid three and a balanced review because people either seem to think they are marvellous or dreadful. I've had both experiences with them so this represents the best and the worst of what you can expect. My sons have bought several cubes from this store and had several bought for them by family. They are deceitful in that they clearly pretend to be UK-based but the items come directly from China with no UK office at all. I'm sure most people wouldn't care about buying directly from China as long as the cube is good and in most cases that's exactly what happens. You order your cube, it takes weeks to arrive but then you have exactly what you ordered. The BAD thing about a deceitful pretence of being a UK based company is that when something goes wrong, you are stuffed. My sons have had a 4x4 ball core cube arrive with the corner to core magnets unattached leading to the cube grinding to a halt as you try to solve it. Speedcube store's reply? Take photos of the broken elements, maybe the factory will send replacement parts if they have them but I will have to pay for postage. Obviously this is a stupid solution. I have paid for a product and shipping - I should be sent a replacement or a full refund. I'm not even going to try to contact them about the Megaminx that exploded in to a billion pieces whilst being solved. Clearly once it has been sent, you are stuck with it no matter what.
This means I will probably never shop with them again because if I can't get help for quality control issues then what's the point? Kewbz.co.uk has been great so far, and Amazon obviously have a great returns policy, so despite the price difference I'd say they are a far safer bet.

I've bought over 100 cubes from this store. It's always the first place I go to for new releases. They always have the best prices outside of Aliexpress, they release the cubes before anyone else and they are relatively quick to arrive in the UK.

Only one cube has arrived broken, not the fault of the store I'm sure, and they happily agreed to replace it.

I'm really surprised there are not more five star reviews for this store. I buy a lot of cubes, keeping on top of new releases and this store is perfect for me.

I always have a great service from these guys!
It takes a week to get to me but the prices are very competitive and if anything is not right they sort it out straight away. 🤩👌

Ordered cube only to receive a completely different product. Contacted them, assuming it was an honest mistake on their part, only to be told it wasn’t their fault and that if I didn’t have an unboxing video to prove what was in the box when I received it then they wouldn’t help. They are a very dishonest company and I wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered. Please pay more and order at Amazon - at least you know you can return it if it’s not right. As others have said this is a Chinese based company so any returns will go to china (at the buyers expense).

I can say I honestly didn't have a problem with ordering from here...the price was good and item was as good as described....yes it's not UK based it's china and delivery takes a little longer but for the price I'm happy and the cubes were excellent.

Terrible customer service. Received faulty product and they told me they would not send a replacement as the shipping would be too expensive! They refunded me £3 (item was £13) and told me to get a tailor to fix the faulty stitching (on cube bag)! Not responding to any of my further emails. Never ordering from again.

Totally a scam! Received a defective product; they don’t allow returns. They are not UK-based; even though the domain name is .uk. They are all in China. Don’t buy anything there. Don't trust them; even if they promise a return policy, it's all fake. 

I am adding this to my original review below. The cube did finally arrive after a couple of curt but factual responses from speedcube. It is of good quality.

masquerading as a uk store, pretending to ship via Royal Mail, the order was actually despatched from China to Hong Kong then to Heathrow. No movement since. Have contacted customer service but have had no automatic acknowledgement ( too soon to expect a reply). Agree this seems to be a scam. Not so much my money that bothers me but that this plays to children’s Christmas wish lists. My grandson will be disappointed.

I bought a speed cube from here, cheaper than most places and delivered within a week, would definitely buy from this store again, my son was very pleased with his cube.

scam. I ordered from there, and my payment went through only for them to never ship. I tried contacting their customer support and they replied fast saying they were “afraid” to ship to my country (norway). When I said that was okay, but asked for a refund they stopped responding.

Ich hatte einen GAN12 ui bestellt. Dieser war komplett tot. Sprich, es ist ein GAN12 für den dreifachen Preis.
Dann einen GAN 11 M Pro. Dafür bekam ich einen GAN mini M Pro, den kleinen Bruder.

Die einzige Möglichkeit, die bleibt, ist die Würfel auf eigene Kosten nach China zu schicken, in der Hoffnung, dass dann auf einmal die richtigen nach Deutschland geschickt werden.

Nie wieder.

With a co.uk URL you would expect it to be an uk company. They are based in china. They do not ship with royal mail but with a Chinese mail company. Their support is unresponsive and very unhelpful, I emailed the day I bought the cube and they only bothered to get back 2 days later once the cube was shipped. At which point they told me there was nothing they could do. They were not much cheaper than Amazon. They also take around 2 weeks to arrive.
All that aside, the cube seems to be genuine and is of good quality.
I wouldn't use them again, as its very disingenuous to use trickery to catch customers.
