I ordered sunglasses which I needed for a holiday - their website FAQ says that "orders are usually turned round in 10 working days" and within a day of ordering the status changed to Prescription Dispensed and then 3 days later to "Personalising Lenses" so I not unreasonably expected them to arrive within the 10 working days mentioned or shortly thereafter.

However there were no further status updates and it actually took them a full month from ordering to delivery - by which time it was too late and I had left for the holiday. The FAQ also says "our order will be posted through your letterbox along with your regular post." which is false as when I got home I had had no glasses delivered but later received an email saying I had to pay them a further £5 to have them resent as they had been returned!

Why on earth should I have to pay a £5 penalty for something that is their fault not mine - ie: slow/late delivery and false information that the glasses would be posted through the letter box)!

Wish I had read the reviews on here before ordering from these people! Lesson learned.

This is my second order from this company. The site says delivery within 30 days and they were well within this time frame. They sent regular emails updating progress and if I look on the 'my account' section of their site this contains updates as well. The specs themselves are excellent, and the most amazing value for money! I was delighted with my purchases.

Delivered on time with no hassle, or hidden extras. Free case, cloth and sweeties.

First pair from this company although I have ordered online before. These are crystal clear. I have to admit I didnt expect much for £20 but they are up there with the best. Have ordered another with the same script in case they put up the prices.

Unbelievably poor service. Everything moves efficiently until it gets to "personalising lenses", and then you wait. And wait. And wait. Unless your lucky, you'll be putting in a paypal dispute to receive your money back. One of those companies where you can accurately judge that the negative reviews are accurate.

Terrible would not recommend took 4 weeks from ordering with not a single reply from message only started making the glasses 3 weeks after order once put in paypal claim

If you want customer service and fast delivery - this isn't the company to use. Took just short of a month to receive my glasses. I contacted them twice and they never responded. Finally received my order and I am so far happy with them.

Last time I used last year I waited three weeks, no one responded then was advised frames out of stock and order cancelled. Tried again for other glasses last month still no glasses and no one will get back to me but they do take your money! Have raised Paypal dispute. Having to make do with old specs that are wrong prescription. Use another service.

ordered my prescription reading sunglasses on 02/06/2016 took a week to pass my prescription on to the lens dept delivered them on 27/06/2016 the same day i arrived home from my holiday other firms deliver within a week

Ordered on 11th February using vouchers so only £15, no extras.
Arrived 7th April.
Great glasses but a very long wait.

This company should be avoided at all costs.

I brought some glasses from them, which to be fair came in a reasonable time.

However, the lens fell out so I sent them back. First of all they claimed they had not received them, then nearly two weeks later they 'found' them.
They were returned to me, but no sign of the postage costs they promised to send me to cover sending them back.
Since then the lens has again fallen out, and they don't want to know. Even coming out with an amazing e-mail comment asking 'what hand do you take your glasses on and off with ?' - amazing.
So you have now been warned - AVOID.

Ordered a pair of their £11.99 prescription reading glasses as advertised on Money Saving Expert. Ordered on Sunday 31/5/15. Received email on same day asking for copy of prescription - which I promptly sent them. Further email on 2/6/15 stating "Your lens are being manufactured to your personalised prescription" and an email would be sent when they were shipped. Never heard anything else! Mailed them on 18/6/15 asking for info and was advised to give it 7-15 working days. Too late I needed them for a holiday. So I cancelled the order as it was obvious they were not being made - received confirmation email to say order cancelled but still waiting for refund on 8/7/15. Contacted them again today - to ask for refund!!! Also contacted Money Saving expert and they said they would look into it too. Pile of rubbish - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY & EFFORT!!!

I ordered some frames using their 'try at home' option - they charge you the whole amount and credit you most of it back when you return the frames. I ordered 1 pair on 25-August; I received nothing and heard nothing right up until I phoned to cancel (website doesn't allow this option - annoying) on 18-September, 3 1/2 weeks later! Was sent an email promptly with indication of refund (but given no apology when I explained why I was cancelling).

Takes a little time for glasses to arrive but no longer than at the opticians i use. I was kept well informed during the process of the order too.
