I placed my order on 15/10/2018, straight away I got an email stating that prescription dispensed. Next day I got an email stating that personalising lenses, I was quite impressed of the speed and was expecting to get my glasses soon. However after two weeks still nothing, thus I rang customer service they wouldn't give an update and said I need to give them my number and someone will ring me back to update me about the order. I did not get any call back, but got an email with the message 'We ask, in our Terms and Conditions, that customers allow 7-30 working days to complete orders before shipping'. This should be made clear on the site.

Anyway I am still waiting I just hope after all of this wait the glasses will be good and have no issue with them. I should of really read the users reviews before ordering some said they waited for month

Order glasses over 7 weeks ago now! No response to my email until I raised a case with PayPal. Finally had a response saying they will be dispatched sometime this week! Not a happy customer

Order placed 4 September 2018 - still waiting for my glasses. Took my money on Day 1. Terrible customer service.

phoned twice and sent 3 emails nothing.just a i will get someone to call you back.

11th September ordered a standard pair of glasses, no extras, a nice and easy order you would have thought !!!! 20th September and to date I have had no further contact from this company who appear to have taken my money and supplied nothing. Not trusted - buyer beware.

Been waiting since the beginning of August for my glasses. No one is answering me as to where they are. When I call I get told I’m going to get a call back. It’s absolutley diabolical. Still have no knowledge of where my order is.

Received my glasses today after 54 days and discovered that they charge £4.99 for postage when the envelope is stamped SMALL PACKAGE £2.95, Never again.

Placed order 43 days ago!?! 43 DAYS!!!?!!!
After contacting regarding delivery, received response stating delivery time 3-30 days, (3-30????? REALLY!?!?!?!?!?) + can take up to a further 5 days????
Despite contacting them again during the 43 days since order has been placed, I have been ignored. Not only is there delivery time shocking, it is not clear on the site how long delivery times are. Still waiting on my order, still waiting on a reply on when my glasses will be delivered.

BE WARNED WHEN SPENDING YOUR MONEY WITH THIS 'COMPANY'

I previously left the 1 star review below but I contacted Specky Four Eyes about the delay and requested a refund as they were going to take so long. They actually did give me a refund and also sent the glasses, which arrived today (14/09/18). They are excellent specs so I thought it only fair to update this as they didn't have to do that and it was more than fair. My comment still stands though, if you want them quick I'd go elsewhere.

I placed an order 06/08/2018, I didn't think to check delivery times but after the order was placed I read that delivery time is 3 to 30 days. That's poor in itself but I should have read that 1st i'll admit. I contacted them 29/08/2018 to ask when despatch would be and was told 17/09/2018. That's ridiculous. That's 42 days from ordering, no wonder they were discounted. If you can't keep up with demand don't do offers.

used this company a couple of times. wait for glasses has been a bit long but not too bad. this time service is shocking. ordered first week of July and now heading towards September and no glasses. initial messages were answered and now any messages I send are ignored. poor poor service this time.

This is the second time I have bought prescription sunglasses from Specky Four Eyes and once again I am really pleased with them. Great choice and great prices - Love all the various options available too.
I have always been kept updated about every stage my order is at and when delivery will be. Just a great Company to deal with.

33 days in still no glasses. I keep getting the staff throw out terms and conditions it takes 7 to 30 days. Well 33 days this excludes the weekend is outside the terms. I have used before and now I have had enough it's a bloody joke just to get standard prescription glasses.

Ordered some prescription sunglasses on 23rd May for a holiday in July. Here we are on the 19th July (holiday been and gone) and still no sign of the glasses. Couple of emails and phone calls with either no response or "they will be delivered this week".... by the time they arrive the sun will have disappeared and they won't be needed!!!

Found this site on HotUKDeals for £5 glasses £9 with post so I thought I would give it a try.send my prescription and about 2 week later I get a really nice pair of glasses in the post that are very good quality.so I am very pleased and will be going back for more.

Purchased 2 pairs of Animal glasses for spare glasses. They are nice and substantial for the money. So far so good.

Received my second pair of glasses this week. Very pleased indeed. Excellent value for money, Ghost frames with prescription lenses and P&P for less than £50. Received in good time, no longer than a high street seller for a fraction of high street prices.

Probably same problem as everyone else but with a more weird ending.as most people state order then fast emails in the lab then nothing for four weeks I order two pairs from glasses direct and two pairs form specky and had glasses from direct for three weeks when I cancelled the specky order.glasses were cancelled no problem and refund was quick then one week later got email to say order in the post emailed saying they had been cancelled and I had been refunded they emailed back to say it was a good will gesture just to say the order was for £150 so some gesture mibye it was I tend to think there are in such mess that one half has no idea what the other half is doing.glasses are great and if your not in a hurry and you get a deal then fine use then but I wont be.Update-review was written in April 2018got email on 13 January 2021 asking for more information like references number said no idea think your two years too late and half hour later they added a note to my review saying I had the wrong company.there’s is same company same name but different probably trying to wipe old bad reviews away

I have purchased numerous pair from Specky four eyes. My first pair were made as readers instead of distance. This was remedied without hassle but as they take at least a month to complete an order i had to wait two months before the correct order arrived. My latest pair were ordered four weeks ago...I have just been informed that they have been dispatched so another wait. If you do not want your specks urgently you will not have any worries.

Ordered over a month ago still not received. Just had an update glasses are being glazed!!!! No Customer service. Glad I only paid £15. Once they receive the glasses back it takes them 2-30 days to send them to you!!!!! Waste of time and money. Probably 2/3 month wait on glasses. Useless company will never order from again
