Sparks Warehouse is falsifying stock levels on items in order to encourage purchases that they can't fulfil.

I ordered an extension lead from Sparks Warehouse on July 26th. When placing the order, the website said "stock level: delivery in 2-4 days, next day delivery available". When the item still hadn't arrived on August 3, I checked up: and received a response that it was due on 20th August from their supplier. I pointed out that the website had been wrong about lead time and should be corrected, but said I'd wait. I chased again on August 13 with no response, and again on August 23 -- only to be told "the date on these has now slipped back to the 15th September". All the while the website still says that they have stock to deliver within 2-4 days. I've pointed that false stock level (which is against consumer protection laws) multiple times, and they still haven't corrected it on the website. I've since asked for a full refund -- taking over two months for an item it claims is deliverable in "2-4 days" is appalling.

Found motorcycle battery on here cheaper than all other sites and it was free delivery most sites wouldn't post to Northern Ireland without £20 postage. Will use this company again no problem

Feel somewhat underwhelmed with both the and the item purchased. The item wasn’t cheap and the quality of the product doesn’t reflect the price tag; feels a bit cheap and insubstantial.

Postage took longer than I might have expected and way too many marketing emails since placing the order. This will likely be the first and only order with Sparks Warehouse.

Very good value, quick delivery and great customer service

Ordered a couple of LED bulbs on a Sunday. By Thursday they hadn’t even been dispatched so I had to email them to chase. I have no idea when, or if they will arrive

If there was a zero rating, I would give it! I ordered 8 bulbs back in May - they were never delivered - despite numerous follow ups. I was told 6 had arrived and they were waiting for another 2. I eventually said - send the 6 and refund me for 2. They then replied with an 'oops' - sorry but we don't have the 6 anymore - and promptly cancelled my order. Shocking customer service!!

This Company is not what it appears. The website suggest it holds stock and has an experienced team, both suggestions are lies. Order took so long I had to source the parts elsewhere. Returned the parts I did not need 2 weeks ago. No responses to emails and phone just rings. When I did get a response told it is 21 days to pay a return, reading other reviews I doubt that will happen. Just avoid this really poor company.

I had to enquire as to whether my single item was actually being dispatched because I heard nothing for over a week. It seemed obvious that my item was only dispatched once I chased it up. This company might be more interested in bigger orders from bigger customers and not the small customer seeking an otherwise difficult item to find? Either way, I felt a bit neglected but in fairness, once reminded, they did communicate adequately and the item did prompty arrive, well packaged.

I made an order on 13/07/25, had confirmation that the order has been recieved but nothing since and still waiting to recieve the order...

Company does not supply your orders, does not answer emails on telly lies on the phone. £100 of goods never shipped and had to get money back from visa dispute AVOID AVOID AVOID
Following on, bank dispute, challenged by them even though proof of cancelling emailed to me, forwarded onto the bank. THIS SELLER IS A TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS

delivery should have been 1-3 July.
Still nothing.
Company not answering emails.

Order never arrived. Sent emails. No reply

First delivery of tube light arrived in smithereens due to minimum packaging. Replacement agreed but took ages to arrive.
Never should have been so difficult.

Not to be trusted...
I needed a Leisure battery quickly and found the right one on their website. This stated the item as available to delivery in 3-4 days. So I placed my order (£230.98). They took the payment on 19th June, but this was taken by Shorters Limited a small husband and wife company that seemingly owns Sparks Warehouse and a few similar businesses. I chased my delivery when I heard nothing and told it was not in stock and had to be ordered from a supplier and they were waiting news from them. I explained my urgency and cancelled my order. I have verbal and written confirmations of this. However, despite this I still have not had any communication from their "accounts team", assuming this is one of the owners in Shorters Limited as they have the money and last filed accounts state 2 staff. In summary, they take your money based on misleading information and then they do not want to give it back to you and you are forced to fight for a refund. I strongly recommend you check them out online. Companies house information tells you a lot about the actual size and set up of this business. I am still out of pocket and trying to get my money back. Don't make the same mistake. I did order my battery from another supplier and it arrived in 2 days.

Amazing quality, super quick delivery and great customer service

Ordered over a month ago been chasing when the driver will be in and nothing called and told it’s a non stock item despite the website given a delivery within three or four days

Have requested money back will go to back in few days to get refund
