Minimum contact from Sound Travel. Not sure what value they added really - the hotel was unaware of the discount on food and drink, and we were told check-in was from 2pm but the hotel check-in time is 4pm. Contacted chat bot to be told pretty much 'oh well...' Hotel did the best they could, but given I've booked an expensive package I expect better.

Had a great time at the Billy Joel concert at Cardiff. Communication good, Clayton hotel very nice and central, check in very easy, staff polite and hotel happy to take our bag 3 hours prior to check in. Slept well. Planned to park at Newport and train in, as knew off road closures prior to the event which was a great move. Dead easy. The package was expensive, but it’s one off the bucket list and otherwise we couldn’t have got the tickets. A second night was expensive so stayed in the premier inn just across the road which was perfect.

Lovely big hotel room and check-in very slick at Park Plaza. Tickets and concert great and well organised. 15 min walk to stadium. Book parking well in advance as roads closed off around town. We parked at Newport as left it too late so got train into Cardiff £12.00. Loads of restaurants around 5 min walk but advise to book. Staff at hotel great, only problem was the pub music across the road bumping til 2.30am..no sleep! Ask for a room at back of hotel. Otherwise great time in Cardiff.

Billy Joel was fantastic and the Mercure Cardiff North hotel was good enough but no transport provided from hotel to venue.

Billy Joel and his band were fabulous - up there among the best I’ve seen. The entry to the concert was smooth and easy.
The 1 star is for the hotel.
The Clayton hotel was appalling for the price of the package. Chaotic check in, real problem locating and handing back our luggage that we left at reception because they hadn’t issued a ticket, AC in room inefficient, no fridge in room, room service after the concert appalling - we were really hungry and ordered sandwiches. No brown bread, no sourdough bread, only filling was cheese and it was sandwiched in the cheapest, processed thin white bread. £17 for 2 sandwiches. The drink token to be used at the bar only allowed beer or wine or a soft drink. I don’t drink beer or wine. How can you charge £447 each and use such a basic, sub standard hotel? £447 and you can’t even offer a spirit and mixer? Wouldn’t book Sound Travel again

Very smooth arrangements with no problems for our ticket and hotel package to see the amazing Billy Joel in Cardiff.

Billy Joel concert in Cardiff. Package was great, Park Plaza hotel very comfortable with lovely staff. Concert itself was amazing, so well organised from the initial booking to up to date email contact and getting us to where we should be in the stadium!

Stayed at mercure part of the Billy Joel package. A long way from stadium, costing us £50 in taxis. Hotel was not 4* which I paid extra for. Billy Joel was spot on but wouldn’t use the hotel package again

Good package, good communication and nice to find a bottle of fizz in the hotel room. Will certainly use again.

Great hotel, nice staff, good food. Only problem, lift not working to Restaurant. As a disabled person, the 2 flights of stairs were difficult to climb!!

Attended Billy h Joel in Cardiff with an overnight stay. All perfect. No issues from booking to packing up and coming home.

Great Concert Thanks to Billy. Stadium has it off to a fine art. Minimal queuing in or out. Helps if you know where you are going from previous visits. Hotel was definitely basic but did the job and we are hime in hereford by 10:30.

Billy Joel at Cardiff Principality Arena, with accommodation at Cardiff Hilton. We opted to stay an extra night too. From start to finish, smooth process. Hotel happy to keep our bags til we could check in - but then allocated our room 3 hours early! Package worth every penny, & Billy Joel didn’t disappoint, yet again!

The package and pricing was good. The Ibis hotel was very basic, but served its purpose. However, the car parking at the hotel is limited and is operated by Just Park, not the hotel. Therefore unless you have booked way in advance, you will not be able to park at the hotel. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. We ended up having to park 10 minutes walk away, which was fine, but I don’t know what you would do if there wasn’t any parking available.

Everything was so well organised, the Billy Joel concert itself blew me away and to top it all the 4* Clayton was absolutely gorgeous with lovely friendly and very helpful staff. All in all a stunning and memorable experience 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. Thank you.

Sound Travel organised our stay-over for the show. Location was brilliant, staff efficient, room great, breakfast amazing. All in all a very good experience. Thank you!

The concert was amazing and worth the price of the tickets. Good seats and good view of the stage. The hotel, Canopy by Hilton, was very convenient to get to the concert as it was right opposite Aldgate underground station - Metropolitan line straight to Wembley Park. The staff were very good, rooms comfortable but it is unusual that the coffee caps are not free. The bonus was the water/ice machines in the corridors. But we would stay there again.

Overall price package was extortionate and we paid to much for the room in comparison for the same hotel on other booking sites.

In future will not get a similar package , will book the concert tickets but go elsewhere to book accommodation.

Booked to see Paul Weller in Scarborough along with a night’s stay at the Crown Spa Hotel. Hotel was supposed to be 4* and we were charged accordingly. Hotel might have been 4* 20 years ago but it’s certainly not now - had black mould on the bathroom ceiling, thick cobwebs on wall and old decor. Breakfast poor too. We got a welcome drink and 10% discount off food and drink as part of the package which wasn’t honoured by the hotel. Wrote to Sound Travel as felt aggrieved at the amount we’d paid and they’ve done nothing after me waiting for a suitable response for weeks. Really disappointing service from both companies but at the end of the day we booked through Sound Travel so they should take responsibility. Wouldn’t recommend using this company therefore. In short this package was poor quality and significantly over priced.

Sound travel supplied hotel accommodation as part of a concert ticket package at Wembley Stadium. Communication with Sound Travel before the event was efficient, queries were answered promptly. The hotel was excellent, they had received our requests via sound Travel and accommodated everything. Excellent experience, thank you.

The Bruce Springsteen concert was amazing and worth the price of the tickets. Excellent seats and good view of the stage. The hotel, Canopy by Hilton, was a 4☆ and very convenient to get to the concert as it was right opposite Aldgate underground station - Metropolitan line straight to Wembley Park. The staff were very good, rooms comfortable but some of the facilities were a bit pretentious eg coffee machines in rooms, and and unlike other 4☆ hotels we've stayed in charged if you wanted an omelette. The bonus was the water/ice machines in the corridors. But saying that, we would stay there again.
