Their website was easy to use. The call back was quick and the caller was friendly and helpful. The whole process was very efficient.

I wanted to make a complaint but was told I cant because I was not a policy holder or got insurance with them, I was the 3rd party. There customer hit my car they denied it but they took full responsibility and liability. But I stressed i can make a complaint with there complaint department they was not having any of it. As soon as I emailed there claims department and PI I got a reply stating they have blocked my emails... WOW did the truth hurt.. they say they care really is that how they deal with 3rd party claims out right disgusting behaviour and giving false information.... the law is clear i have a right to raise a complaint whether or not I have insurance with you. They are in breach of the equality act and they don't like the fact.

I spoke to such a lovely lady, who was very reassuring. Great customer service and very understanding.

Accident happened almost 7 weeks ago, my car was stationary with the engine off, firstly i got put through to ax(accident exchange) to deal with the claim, the third party is disputing liability and is taking a very long time so ax told me that I need to go through my insurance now instead, I notified them that I had to do that a week ago now and i have just had a call from them today that I basically have to go through the entire thing from the start all over again!! My car has been written off and as far as i was aware all I was waiting for was the money for my car but now they are saying that the offer ax gave me they dont recognise and they have to do their own offer which will take another 5-6 working days to be sorted! Plus they want me to go through all of the details AGAIN about the accident which I had already done on the day the accident happened

This is the worst company you could insure your car with.
I was reversing out of a parking space,my then 84 year old mother in the car when a less than gentle man slammed into the back of me ,an eye witness saw the whole thing and verified to police that he was to blame.he drove away not giving any details, then reported to police i reversed into him.this wonderful Somerset bridge company informed me I was at fault 100%..needless to say this company is not worth insuring your car with, they only want your money and avoid paying out at what ever cost. Mainly your cost . Don't insure your car with them they are a fraud.

Extremely disappointing claims handling

Very disappointed with how Somerset Bridge has handled our total-loss claim. We were completely innocent parties - our parked vehicle was damaged following a police chase that ended on our property, with the vehicle coming into our garden. This was entirely non-fault on our part.

Despite this, communication has been extremely poor, with repeated promised callbacks and updates that never happened, emails going unanswered and us constantly having to chase for basic information.

Most concerningly, we discovered that our vehicle had been placed into a live Copart auction without our knowledge while the settlement was still disputed and before we had accepted the valuation. We contacted Copart ourselves and the vehicle was subsequently removed from auction.

Several important issues we raised were not properly resolved or answered in the Final Response.

We have now received their Final Response but remain extremely dissatisfied with both the outcome and the handling of the claim. The complaint is now being referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service for independent investigation.

I will update this review once the Ombudsman has considered the case.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We purchased our car 4 months ago and we were really happy with it. A police chase that ended up in our garden totaled our car. Go Skippy and Somerset Bridge decided our car was worth thousands less than we paid. They have lied multiple times, ignored SARs requests, and stated that the £10k worth of optional extras added zero value to the car. Also, they tried to sell our car on Copart without paying us or telling us they were doing so. So we are now going to the Financial Ombudsman Service.They are the worst company I have ever had to deal with; they lie, don't answer calls, and don't care about the people they insure. Do yourselves a favor and don't use this company. If and when the worst happens, they will rip you off

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. If you buy a policy from Somerset Bridge Insurance, you are throwing your money completely down the drain. They are a financial danger to anyone who signs up with them, and they are hands down the worst insurer in existence.The moment you actually need to make an accident claim, your money is gone. I was in a clear-cut, rear-end collision where the other driver openly admitted liability. Even with zero doubt about who was at fault, Somerset Bridge has done everything possible to avoid paying out. They invented a blatant lie claiming they "couldn't get hold of their policyholder via phone or email" just to freeze the claim.Their staff are completely rogue. When you question their lies, they literally hang up the phone on you. They stonewall you, fabricate excuses, and claim they "cannot disclose information" to keep you trapped in the dark. You will spend weeks getting absolutely nowhere. They intentionally drag out claims hoping you will give up your money and disappear.I have now had to involve the Financial Ombudsman Service to fight them. Somerset Bridge needs to be urgently investigated by regulatory bodies and struck off for their corrupt behavior. If you value your money, your vehicle, and your sanity, stay far away from this company. Only people who want a complete financial nightmare would choose them. Fantastic policy. Ive had my car vandalised by a plumber i won a case with at court. Go skippy have a vandalism protect scheme where I havent had to pay excess or lose my Ncd. In a time of high stress it alleviated alot of that when I spoke to the call agent. She was brilliant.

I received excellent Customers Services which was really important during the critical situations. SEB handled my Claim with his best regards no discriminations no recism. He was generous good listener and incredibly he has patience to went through all liability. I will be explained updated later again. It was so unexpected wasn't pleasurable and directly harrassement abusing threatening all sorts of unlawful illegal breaches of Laws caused by the Claimed opposite party wheras I given completely full details of my DRIVING LICENCE, MBL NUMBER, CAR INSURANCE CERTIFICATES, EMAIL ADDRESS but still whatever they done to me yes I should to be called MET POLICE. Which Council I am, I already reported to the Council this I explained to them nicely and accordingly. But who bothered Laws. I was kept continuing to be generous honest loyal but unfortunately the more I was being honest reliable the more they was seriously aggressive dangerous abusive towards me. I didn't hide to them anything. SPORTS and GYM two Teams members visited they saw whatever I did. Spoken generously respectfully basically didn't worked I could driven my Car back to my destinations. They have done all sorts of harrassement towards me. Polite behaviours brought up traumatised knightmare experiences so what can I did afterwards I called the Council. I have listen to them everything a part of CASHING HANDS MONEY I refused. Told me to followed their vehicles to done POLISHED COLOUR painted anyways so many unlawful threatened caused by three of them. Did I have CAR INSURANCE this much abusive good to have controlled my fingers in this Reviews pages. Taken my VIEDOS that I caused damaged their Car which was totally breaches of Laws Culprits Criminals Offensive Anti-social activities which I reported to the Insurer Companies. They didn't knew but I knew POLICE OFFICERS knew what I did so what police Officers could did if they called. Next time I wouldn't be generous to anyone if I taken off paints or anything damaged this is because of CAR INSURER are sitting down for their Jobs. CASHING HANDS bussinness and harrassement bussinness will be turned to OFFENDERS women's VIEDOS taken without permissions which Laws says. Big big accidents incidents all CAR INSURERS needs to be known personal businesses shouldn't be forced. Situations they made together very serious dangerous ways. Started from the SPORTS AND LEISURE CENTRE where I touched their car. I said at first yes I did that I was apologise so that I was waiting for them. I was in that scene for more than 2 hours. From the Car INSURER COMPANIES should to be very strict LAWS that if this types of Criminals activities caused there will be OFFENDERS relied back for Laws breaking.
Totally 100% satisfied feedback and trustworthy. But I am so upset because of extreme heat sun I shouldn't be done that quickly tried to parked my Car. So many thanks for your Co-operation indeed.

I spoke to Seb about an accident I had this morning and he was extremely professional and helpful. He was also patient, listening and knowledgeable about my policy. He later transferred me to AX who were very brilliant. Everything was solved and settled.

Go skippy called me again in the evening to check how I was doing. 5 stars are not enough. I told Seb I would be leaving a review and Trust pilot had to send a link, which I didn't get, but I hope my review gets through, Thank you Seb. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
