Solid State is a company whose practices I’ve admired for several years and I’m finally able to sell their shirts in store and it’s been a great experience! Customers love hearing their story and I have been living in the Carolina Cotton! The owners even made a special trip to see my store and that made everything all the more special. $50-$80 for a t-shirt is definitely higher than your average tee cost, but I see the price per wear being in the cents when all is said and done… well worth it!

Beautiful t shirts! The fabric has a nice soft hand and colors are vivid. I do try to find clotheds products made here in the US.

I received the package in a timely manner and it was exactly what I was looking for. The clothing being grown and sewn, just a couple hundred miles from my home, by American farmers and workers, is the kind of product I want.

I love my tie dye t-shirts. The quality is great. Also the fact that the company is from the USA and supports many types of workers at their plant.

High quality material. Transparent shipping process. Not a lot of excess packaging. Made in the USA.

My only complaints are (1) the color of the latte tee is very odd. Dingy looking. (2) I ordered a women’s tee hoping it would be a little feminine. The cut is, but the neckline is thick like a (very expensive) basic tee. I will keep it but won’t shop for myself here again. Maybe for my son or husband. It would be helpful if you showed the shirts on models so that it was easier to see the features (like the thick athletic neckline)

'Dirt to Shirt', 'Seed to Seam', 'Grown and Sewn'.... So many descriptions of a good idea. Excellently executed by Solid State (or T S Designs for blanks) - great tee, good price, and a concept I can get behind.

I love the heft of the fabric and the drape. I made a vow a few years back to shun fast fashion and buy more sustainably produced clothes. Psyched to find you guys! Looking forward to wearing these tee shirts when the weather warms up.

This is my 4th t shirt I have purchased from Solid State Clothing. The cotton feels soft and comfortable and the fit is better than any other shirt I have.

Great quality! We love what ya'll do

Look, I respect what solid state is doing, US grown, locally sourced, etc. But when the marigold, all natural wool hat landed on my doorstep, it was in the form of the flimsiest piece of fabric I have ever seen. Like, sheer silk couture would have provided more insulation. It's like they made a regular wool hat, and then shaved it down to an eighth of its usual size. It was the sort of scrap of warm material that you would expect to see deep in Soviet Russia, handed out in the bread lines. It was the sort of hat that, if you were to wear it in temperatures south of 60 degrees, it would actually make you colder.
One positive thing I will say is that the wool socks are legit. Very cozy and warm. Bottom line: you can tout your America made, ethically sourced materials, but it's shameful to sell such a pathetic sliver of wool hat, especially for a whopping 46 dollars! (On sale from 55.)
