Solar Power Store Canada Anmeldelser

Ordered a 16 panel ground mount grid tie. NEP inverters. 580w bf panels. Integra ground mount. Nova Scotia. They handled everything. It took awhile but installed to my satisfaction. Unfortunately all four inverters failed within a year. They were all replaced under warranty with an upgraded model. Communication at times was slow but happy with the overall experience.

When we first ordered our 15 kw system, there were quite a few problems, not with the equipment, but with the shipping department. But, we stuck with them, and they worked very hard to get our order back on track, We really appreciated the people we worked with, and they were very respectful to work with, Since this is our second Solar array, We do believe we got a high quality system which has worked flawlessly ever since. Thanks Michael S.

Top-Tier Product and Even Better Service
I installed the Micro-Air EasyStart on my 2011 Carrier heat pump to stop the house lights from dimming every time the compressor kicked in. The results have been perfect—the startup is now smooth, and the light flickering is completely gone.

What really impressed me was the service from The Solar Power Store. When I ran into an issue with my initial setup, they didn't hesitate to provide a replacement unit to ensure I got the system running correctly. Their communication was excellent, and they clearly prioritize customer satisfaction over everything else.

If you want a product that works and a company that actually has your back, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

Great prices, speedy services and answered inquiries promptly

I was in intermittent contact with this company for close to a year as a homeowner seriously preparing for a solar installation and was ready to proceed once final contractual details were clarified.

To protect myself long-term, I proposed a written addendum to clearly define responsibilities and risk allocation related to roof integrity, maintenance, and liability. This was not a decorative request — it involved substantive, binding terms that materially affect a homeowner’s long-term exposure.

I was initially told we were “on the same page” and that the addendum could be signed. However, once it came time to formally integrate those terms into the contract, communication stopped entirely despite multiple follow-ups.

That silence created a pause which allowed me to reassess the investment more carefully. Combined with the lack of engagement on contractual clarity, it became clear that we were not aligned in how risk and accountability should be handled, and I ultimately decided not to proceed.

I am sharing this so other homeowners understand the importance of insisting that key responsibilities be explicitly written into the contract — and paying close attention to how a contractor responds when asked to do so.

**Update for clarity:**

I engaged with this contractor in good faith and invested significant time evaluating the project. My request for a written addendum addressed substantive risk and long-term responsibility, not cosmetic terms.

At a critical decision point, communication stopped for over ten days despite multiple follow-ups. No notice, timeline, or indication of any legal review was provided at the time. That silence led me to conclude the project.

After this review was posted, the company issued a public response referencing a refunded deposit and an ongoing legal review. For factual accuracy, no deposit was paid or retained in connection with the second negotiation, and no such review timeline was communicated. This clarification is provided so future homeowners can judge both the promises made and how accountability is handled when requested.

Mike was as great sales/customer service
I was not spending much money, but he treated me as if I was.
In the future, my solar needs will be looked after by Mike
I wouldn’t go somewhere else

Well ,for now, the projec is on pause due winter, more détail on summer when we install all the system

Great product, no missing parts, easy assembly

Easy to find product, easy cart checkout.

Order invoice was emailed to me, simple and easy to pay and order products. A little hickup with the Canadian to USA shipping.

Great products, reasonable prices and responsive sales and support

Carrier damaged shipment but SPS made it right without additional costs. Impressed.

Simple ordering and prompt delivery.

Product (NEP PVG-C) works well with the PV-Guard RSD devices and the Tigo TS4-A-2F RSD devices.

The one thing that would have been nice would have been a more complete description indicating that the dual "cores" were included, which they were.

I ordered the 1st generation C-1000. Also ordered 2 solar panels and the kit that can hook it all up together. Did not come with the piece that plugs into the charger. After 6 weeks of back and forth emails, they keep saying they will look into it, but no results. The manual stated that the part I am missing was supposed to come with the charger. I finally ordered the part I needed from Amazon.
The Anker charger works great now but going forward I will purchase everything from Amazon, not Solarpoweredstore.ca

easy to use website. Lots of choices. Helpful and responsive.

bon service

The personnel is knowledgable and help me to build my new solar system

Good prices and responds in a timely fashion

Very slow communications. Project do not start on time and take for ever to complete the installation. Design was discussed and then when installers show up the system then was redesigned adding to the cost of project. Orders were delivered with wrong address for delivery on them and I was given short notice about arrival. Contractor needed gravel and they sent 35 ton of it, contractor was supplied as they only needed a little bit. too much rebar was ordered and 2x4. Contractor show up with out basic equipment such as shovel, rake and on day needed a level. If you say anything then the pour of concrete gets pushed back, for example this is my 3rd reschedule. The equipment arrives and you have to store it or put it outside in weather for a long period of time, or put into a garage and leave your things outside in the weather. The application was delayed for a couple of weeks because of putting in the wrong address.
