I am honestly shocked by the quality of this dress. On the website, it looks luxurious and beautifully made, but in reality the fabric looks and feels extremely cheap. The actual dress bears almost no resemblance to the product photos and does not fall or look anything like it does on the model.

For a dress costing around £500, the quality is simply unacceptable. The photographs give a completely misleading impression of the material and the overall appearance of the product. Had the dress been represented accurately, I would never have bought it.

Extremely disappointing, it looks like a low-cost dress being sold at a luxury price.

I had a minor issue with the return invoice and Solcae could not have been more helpful. They replied very promptly wo emails and were extremely polite and helpful at all times. Impressive customer service.

I want to say huge thank you to this wonderful brand for all the care and effort they put into delivering the perfect dress on time.

It was quite difficult for me to find the right dress as I am tall and needed something urgently for a special occasion - my birthday celebration and an Oxford alumni reunion. I placed the order on Friday and the dress was delivered on Saturday, just in time before the Gala dinner.

I was amazed by the speed, professionalism and attention to detail. The dress itself was absolutely stunning and a perfect fit. I felt so elegant and confident!!!

Everyone complimented me and said I looked like a queen :) Thank you so much for making such an important moment even more special!

I strongly regret ordering from this webshop and wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews of Solace London beforehand. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
I contacted customer service over three weeks ago and have received no response whatsoever. This level of customer support is unacceptable.
While I understand that duties and taxes may apply, the return policy is unreasonable. Customers are given only a two‑week return window, despite paying extremely high additional costs in duties. For items at this price point, this is simply not sufficient. These are expensive dresses, and a fair evaluation cannot realistically be made within such a limited timeframe.
The lack of communication and inflexible policies reflect very poorly on the brand. Overall, this has been a highly disappointing and frustrating experience.

I purchased two dresses to be sent to Dublin. My mistake was not researching Customs fees. Dresses were sent immediately, Amazing Service to be fair. I refused delivery as the customs fees were very high.
But since then, I have sent several emails to Solace London customer service and have received no reply. There is no phone number listed. DHL assures me Solace needs to inform them that the goods are to be returned before the goods can be despatched.

I had a great experience with the customer service team. They were very responsive, kind, and provided clear and detailed information regarding international shipping to Saudi Arabia, especially given the current circumstances. Their support made the whole process feel much easier and more reassuring. I really appreciate their professionalism and friendly communication.

Dissapoined that Solace London can highlight for returns to put " Merchandise from UK, no commercial value", but no extra note on this for purchase to non Uk.
The value of the dress never changes.

DO NOT ORDER FROM EUROPE!

I had to pay 424€ for customs duties for two dresses. I had the option to refuse to pay and agree to the order being returned.
It has been 3 weeks now. I have contacted their client service 3 times (!) and even opened a case with PAYPAL. Solace London has not reacted to any interaction. I am still waiting for my refund of over 1200€ while being ignored completely.

I ordered 10+ dresses from Solace to try on for my wedding and I loved every single one. When returning the ones I didn't need, I was having trouble finding a safe way to get them back to Solace and the CS team went above and beyond to help me. They then answered all of my many questions on email in the following months as I worked with an alterations specialist. They truly have some of the best CS I have ever experienced!

I bought several wedding dresses to try on online and then returned all but one, the Ines dress which was a reasonable price. Refund for the returns was rapid. The dress was just perfect; thick cream fabric so not transparent and no lining needed. Almost as if it was tailored for me and I had so many compliments. Super comfortable to wear all day. Bravo Solace London! Perfect dress for a special day and a very happy bride (and groom).

I had a very good experience with Solace London and I also bought a dress for my wedding registration ceremony. Their customer service is amazing, very efficiency and supportive! Very helpful!! 10000% recommend!!

The customer service is fantastic!
Sadly, DPD, the courier, was 3 days late in delivering my dress. Solace immediately refunded the cost of the next day delivery which I had paid for.
The dress is beautiful! Unfortunately it was too big for me and I had to return it. The following day I received an email to say a full refund was on its way.
I cannot rate this company highly enough. Others could learn a lot about excellent customer service from Solace!

I recently bought my wedding dress from Solace. I eneded up buying three separate dresses due to sizing and wrong shipping and eventually third time lucky. I received a refund in record timing, Unbelievable service compared to other high end sites whereby waiting 6 weeks at least for a refund. Fantastic dress and so well made! Thank you Solace.

Wore a Solace London dress to my son's wedding and got a huge number of compliments. Fabulous styling and comfortable to wear. I would love a Solace store, though, so that you could try on the clothes. I went to Harvey Nichols where there was a small selection - but that was enough for me to find the ideal dress!
