Happy with all communication - online and over the phone. My direct debit was adjusted as I had accrued a credit. They offer seasonal payments too. Have recommended to family and friends.

Had to recently change my name and add my partner to the account as well. I was very pleased with a service provided by Yaya. Anyone who’s actually been a real customer and dealt with So Energy, will tell you they shouldn’t be rated so highly on here. You can tell most of the comments are from bots. I’ve recently just left them for Octopus Energy due to their ridiculous estimates and pricing. I live alone and work away in the Armed Forces, so told them I don’t need to pay £165 a month in the Summer as I won’t be putting the heating on or use much energy but their app wouldn’t allow it. Lo-behold, by the time September comes I’m £500 in credit, and they won’t give me a refund, instead using that credit to go through winter with, but still taking £140 from my account. Come February I’m £650 in credit, and it’s only then they reduce the direct debit to £80 per month. Even when I submitted my request to leave, they took the full 6 weeks to issue a final bill, plus the full 10 days to reimburse me. Your custom and their overpricing is nothing more than a opportunity to make as much interest as they can holding your money, with customer service a very low second. They’re an amateur outfit that had their customer service website on Facebook, that speaks volumes.

Renewal done 24 months peace of mind
I've been with SO Energy a number of years now, I find them very efficient, reliable, up front. There dual fuel Tariffs are competitive, I get monthly reminders to submit my meter readings for accurate Bill's. I would certainly 100% recommend SO Energy having just fixed my tariff for 24months.
