Do not buy the product

Do not buy the product. Super shady. Outright dishonest. Incompatible with any outlets in my home. (I did check a few things before ordering, but only saw that they were incompatible far into the trouble-shooting video.)

Trying to return, but saying my order number and zip code is not valid. Again. Super shady.

Sent their support team customer service team a message on Feb 23rd. Responded saying should get a response within 24 hours. March 10th and no response. If you send another message you go to the end of the queue.

Horrible company to do business…

Horrible company to do business with!!!! I placed an order when they were having a promotion and I was shipped the wrong style outlet plates. Their customer service lady quickly relied to me telling me she would send a return label and would create a ticket to have the correct items shipped to me. Well, the promotion ended and I never received the exchange as I was told! Now if I want to place an order again, the promotion is no longer valid! Businesses that conduct this type of business deserve to be out of business and I hope they go out of business!!!

I ordered 5 outlet covers with a cost…

I ordered 5 outlet covers with a cost over $110…. After place the order, I immediately saw they the color of the outlet cover was off ( ordered ivory, actually needed lighter beige ) I immediately went to web site to correct order )5minutes after placing order) and no phone number available , had to send email to attempt to correct order! Send email on a Tuesday it’s now Thursday and no response from company! To add insult to injury I get an email notifying me they are shipping the color I do not want! Customer service is just about nil!!! Now I’m going to have to wait until order comes ( whenever that will be) and have to go through some return process for which I will be responsible for sending back with postage !!! Who knows how this is going to work out no being able to speak to an actual live person!!!! Save yourself the time, energy and money and keep the outlet covers you have …. What good is having a small business if you don’t have anyone to speak to!!! I most likely will be seeking a full refund, I do not like conducting business like this !

Scam Return Policy

Outlet covers do not fit at all. Cannot test outlet covers without first taking them out of the package. Company will not take return due to open package. Scam return policy. Terrible customer service. Just buy from another company.

Hi there, I believe there has been a misunderstanding here. We can certainly accept a return within your 30 day return window for opened product, we just ask you to return it to the original packaging to help ensure the product arrives back to us in original/resalable condition, as our packaging is custom-made to protect the corresponding product. But again, the packaging does not have to be in original condition, just the product itself.

I don't see any record of you contacting our customer service, and this is the first time I've seen this misinterpretation of our return policy. I apologize if it wasn't clear enough on our website, but I have updated the verbiage to address your concern more directly. It now states:

To be eligible for a Return/Exchange, your product and any included components must be delivered to us in original/resalable condition, and must either be unopened or repackaged in the original packaging to help ensure safe transit back to us. Exceptions may be made if the original packaging was discarded, as long as the product is safely returned without any functional or cosmetic defects.

I hope that resolves your concern, and please feel free to reach out to our customer support team (support@snappower.com) for troubleshooting, returns and exchanges.

Outlet covers do not fit all outlets, customer service is horrible

I was excited to get these lit outlet covers. BUT the prongs DO NOT line up with standard outlets. I attempted a return them in time, but they stated I was late. They offered a gift card, but I CANNOT USE IT because their product does not fit. I wasted $150 AND had to pay for return shipping AND no longer have them to give to a friend to use. Beware.

I looked up the details and history of your order, and it seems that you returned your product and requested a refund without an RMA, and that it was unfortunately beyond our 30-day return window. At that time, we offered an exchange as a courtesy to try a different product in your home, but the offer was declined. We then reiterated that any refund would need to be issued as a store credit, per our policy. When you let us know that you could not use the store credit, we returned your original order back to you as requested, at our expense.

Charged for free return label when ordering

I purchased the switch lights, the prongs do not line up to make the connection.
You are charged for a return label when you place the order-that should be a red flag. Then you have to contact them, have the packing in original condition to return.
This company has used to be good, no longer.

We have a very low return rate on our website, as the majority of our inventory has over 98% compatibility in the United States. To further illustrate that point, we have over 50,000 5-star reviews on Amazon with an average rating of 4.5/5 on our products. So the compatibility issue you had is very uncommon, and I am sorry for your experience.

The shopping cart feature that you mentioned was not an attempt to charge you in advance for a return label, but rather a 3rd party Shopify tool that provides an optional Amazon-like "unlimited returns" experience – it is more like insurance, covering all shipping and replacement costs for loss, theft, wrong delivery, exchanges, returns, etc. Amazon charges monthly memberships for Prime, while this service was just an optional $1.99 offer at checkout.

good quality products/bad quality of support!

Products appear to be good quality but their customer support is non-existent, I don't know where the previous reviewer saw an excellent support. Emailed (!) them 3 times to initiate an exchange and the only thing I received was a huge NOTHING!

I looked up your order and support history, and only one email made it through to us. There must have been some kind of technical issue at the time, because I also show a response from our team that went out to you that was blank! That might explain some of the confusion.

Regardless, fortunately I see that a return label was emailed to you on Nov 26th, which looks like it would've been shortly after this review. All of our support was delayed a bit at that time as we were just launching our holiday promos and we have a very small team here at SnapPower, but that shouldn't have affected it by more than 1-2 days.

Awesome products and customer service

This is an awesome customer service company AND the products are great. I bought their outlet nightlight cover and motion covers. I had ordered the incorrect ones and had them exchanged for the Decor ones I needed. They sent me a return label and RMA # immediately for the return and received the ones I needed within a week. The covers are exactly what I wanted. I even got a free one! It was a pleasure to deal with a company that sands behind the products they sell. They are also in Amazon. These covers are UL listed too so it complies with codes. You will love these outlet covers and Snap Power. You have to try these outlet covers! They snap on any outlet with no wires etc.
