I’m really disappointed with the way my mother was treated at this clinic. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and openly hostile from the moment she walked in. Instead of offering help when there was confusion about the appointment location, she raised her voice, made sarcastic comments, and even came outside to intimidate her while she was in her car.

No person should ever be spoken to or treated this way. The behaviour was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Charged £55.00 for initial consultation then when I FINALLY got in the chair was told I must have 5 x-rays at £10.00 each. I left in disgust. I felt it was a shakedown. Apparently this ALWAYS happens.

I had a deep filling 1st May 2025 with new dentist as I could not get an appointment for a month due to going on holiday. The Filling was both efficient and the care I received was brilliant. Every step of the process was fully explained. It's far to say the experience was up to the standard I've always become accustomed to at Smiles

Had two appointments and didn't fix what was needed in fact made the matter worse the receptionists can be a bit patronising and unhelpful won't give you information on how to right a complaint about there colleagues I'll rather be in pain thin go back

Wanted to arrange an appointment. The reception didn't listen at all, just spoke over me, so went elsewhere.
Retraining is advisable for her and lets hope this help your awful 1st impressions improve.

Appalling service. Paid for various x-rays and consultations and told I required c fast braces, a tooth removal and a bridge. Having delayed the treatment for 8 months on returning for a re-assessment to ensure all ok to proceed I was informed the treatment previously advised wasn’t correct and they could no longer help me! If they were a regular business they would be investigated for fraud.

I would like this opportunity to send a letter of gratitude regarding dental care given by dental physician N. Nanson.
Ever since becoming a dental care patient she exercised a professional approach right from the beginning. Taking time to assess my plight , she would always explain possible intentions and always seek my approval before proceeding, frequently checking to see if l was ok.
Because of her high standard of practical care ,sending a letter of appreciation especially at a time when the social climate is at a low ebb, deserves bringing to light.

The most appalling service - was 15 minutes late and told I needed to pay £15 despite prior appointments running up to 30 mins late no one cared and my question for help fell on deaf ears

First visit to this company today for an assessment, not what I expected, came away with advice that DID. NOT "rob me" of potentialy thansands of pounds', an honest, logical assessment that I could understand, not just because of the financial aspect, would and will use again, albeit the 60 mile drive that I have to endure, yes I have recommended to my sister without any hesitation.

Terrible dentures.The dentures were made twice and neither time fitted correctly.They were dreadful. They refused a refund on both occasions and I had recently been recovering from cancer at that time.I actually threatened them with Court Action to try to obtain a refund and gathered a large amount of paperwork in order to take Court Action.However,I was extremely fortunate that I had paid on my Barclaycard. Barclaycard reviewed my evidence and refunded me the sum of £1500 which I had paid.They were the worst dentures I had ever had and I would recommend this place to no one.I would recommend anyone buying dentures from Smiles Care in Beechcroft Rd Swindon to pay by credit card at least that way you will be insured, if like my dentures, they turn out to be complete rubbish.
