Recently we arranged handbrake and…
Recently we arranged handbrake and related adjustments at the Weybridge works. These first adjustments are clearly specified in the warranty document (Special note) but our claim has been rejected. We are currently awaiting the promised return call ( 05/08) to explain why the warranty terms have been completely ignored.
Again you have ignored the facts in this case in completely ignoring the terms of the warranty . This is why we are extremely disappointed. I will repeat again, you have not proven the invalidity of our claim and have given no support to rectify the situation as Dacia have insisted that you, not us , are to represent our views . Our claim is based on the warranty terms, isn't that what you should be doing to provide proper customer support,?
If , as you recommend, I am to contact Dacia directly about this claim then please can you provide the claim reference number, a copy of your claim report and all related documentation , mail correspondence etc.

Absolutely shocking service
After servicing my vehicle with them in March, I recently received an email regarding a Health Check, and asked to contact them.
Well after 3 phone calls during the day, and on the last a receptionist telling me she will personal get someone to phone me back.
STILL NO RESPONSE
.... and I've just phoned them again this morning with the same promises being given but NO RESPONSE!
Really absolutely shocking service.

Third car I had brought from them so had no reason not to trust them, asked for one specific thing and was assured by Martin the salesman the car would have it but it doesn’t..they have sold me a car not fit for my purpose..and then lied about it also stating that I took the spare wheel from my old car that I had paid for when actually it was Martin who told me to take it..one thing I cannot stand is LIARS..and that’s exactly what this company is..and the sad thing is Martin knows he’s lying but obviously hasn’t got a conscience..the car Dacia Sandero is a pile of rubbish ..AVOID AVOID AVOID

Dead-end enquiry. Do these people want to sell cars?
Contacted the specific dealership (Aldershot) but phone just rang and rang. So, tried the live virtual Chat but clearly this person was multi-tasking and I had to keep prompting them to respond. It turned out to be a central operator who wasn't even sure which dealership I was hoping to contact but told me that I coould onl;y contact the dealership by phone! The service was slow, depersonalised and useless. Do these people really want to sell cars??

I have just purchased a new Renault clio from this company, from start to finalising purchase I was impressed by the customer service I received from Steve Puttick.
He was so knowledgeable, answered any question/queries promptly and efficiently.

Birthday car for a lucky daughter
We had been hunting for a newish car for my partner's Daughter who was due to have her 17th Birthday shortly. I had persuaded her that getting a SEAT Ibiza was a great move and we saw an example being offered for sale by SMC St John's Woking and we popped along one Sunday morning. Here we were greeted by Louanne, who was very professional and informative regarding the car. After taking some details and Driving license info, we were able to take the car for a test drive. The car was amazing and we made the decision to leave a deposit with Louanne. We noticed that the car didn't have rear parking sensors but Louanne was able to arrange to have those fitted at extra cost. The car was immaculate throughout and we arranged to pick up the car the day before my partner's daughter's birthday. On the day, we arrived at the agreed time to find the car all ready for collection, with items fitted as requested. It was a pleasure to deal with Louanne. She is an asset to SMC and we would recommend anyone looking for a used SEAT, contact her to see if she can help. My partner's daughter was so surprised and happy to get the car.

All in all a great experience.

Amazing service, a genuine pleasure to do business with
I bought a car from SMC Woking at distance because I live in Scotland and could not find what I wanted locally. They just happened to have what was without a doubt the best priced car of it's type and specification in the country so far as I could find. The level of dedicated, personal service provided specifically by Louanne at the dealership was second to none and made every step of my distance purchase a relaxed and stress free experience.
I would highly recommend SMC Woking to anyone.

Professional, friendly and polite
We bought our motorhome from SMC Newark in April. We had a couple of little niggles with it and and the aftercare service we have received has been excellent we can't fault them. We have found them extremely helpful, professional, polite and friendly. There workmanship is also second to none and I can't recommend them enough. We have had a great experience with this company from buying our motorhome to the aftercare service received.

We have been brand loyal to Renault for over 30 years NEVER again, always found them patronising to women dreaded having to take cars for services or updates or when going in for new cars which are all in my name not my husband, our last new Renault car was via mobility so thought great as they collect and deliver for the 1st mot and service, car brought back from a 4 mile round trip not just on empty but on fumes dispute having 2 bars of petrol in the tank, there is a 4 inch scrap to the silver plastic bottom of door trim as doors are concave I’d like to know how that’s happened maybe on the trip it’s taken using all my fuel?
The last time we went looking for our new update car, I happened to ask about the sunroof as there wasn’t one making the car really dark inside, the older large man hovering round us sarcastically said when I asked do they not come with sunroofs anymore responded with you tell me don’t they, my husband remarked rude and we left and will never go back, thankfully I’ll never have to deal with this dealership again,
The last time our previous car was serviced it was hit and damaged in their “care’” and I had a curtesy car for a week while it was repaired.

Mark Talman Purchase from SMC Aldershot. . . . Having just purchased a Dacia from SMC Aldershot I must say how delighted I was with the service I received. The salesman Steve was completely professional and I was kept up-to-date with the process of the sale frequently and regularly so I knew where I stood at all times. On handover day I couldn't give a time to when I could get there so I did get there, Steve was dealing with another customer. Which meant I had a bit of a wait which wasn't a problem at all as I was made comfortable in the lounge area with bottomless coffee. Handover went very smoothly and Steve showed me to the car where he went through everything control wise with the vehicle. All in all I left feeling 100%happy with the service I received. Thankyou SMC.

Rip off Overpriced Service Costs / Avoid This Place
My Daughter booked her 1.0 litre Clio in for a 4 year major service and was charged £399 !! I queried this when we picked up the car, as Renault UK online quote £299 for what they call a premium service (it includes spark plugs, pollen filter & genuine Renault parts as its only available via Renault dealers). Even though they did nothing different SMC said it was £399 (kwik fit charge £229). Unsurprisingly SMC don't quote major service costs on there website only minor services. Total rip of, we wont be using them again. Save yourself some money (£100) and goto Martins Renault in Basingstoke. You should be better than this SMC

I have being going to SMC in Aldershot…
I have being going to SMC in Aldershot for as long as I can remember and the reason being, the service that is offered. I have had a consistent sales person for over 15 years and they have ensured I have received the right make and model of car that suits my needs and budget. I have my cars for three years and in the interim, the services are quick and efficient and do not interfere with my working day. The whole team are friendly and will do all that they can to ensure this.

Car dirty at hand back to customer
My Seat Arona had been at SMC Aldershot for 10 days, to fix a water leak affecting the front passenger footwell.
When the car was dropped off, I had cleaned it to high standard.
On pickup, the car was dusty and dirty and not to the usual Seat cleanliness standard I had enjoyed at my previous Seat dealership.
I have expressed my dissatisfaction to SMC.
SMC suggested, I could take the car back for cleaning, but as its a 35 miles round trip, I declined the offer.
I am happy with the repair.

Visited the Dacia showroom in Aldershot…about Sandero Stepway
Visited the Dacia showroom in Aldershot about a Sandero Stepway at about 10.30 .They had a model in the showroom and i was approached by Andrew,I enquired if the car came with a choice of engines to which the reply was he didn't know (He was the Dacia salesperson).He then gave me a card saying that if i wanted to book a test drive just call him despite having 3 demo models in the car park and 10:30 in the morning.He obviously had no interest in selling me a car and gave the impression that customers were just an annoyance that spoilt his lazy day.I assume that salespeople work on comission,it begs the question how do they ever earn enough to make a living.
