It’s almost like they didn’t know how many cars they were going to be leasing out that morning because they did not have enough help to effectively process all the people that were there at the same time. We waited for an hour to get our car just because of the line and how long it was taking.

Normally i dont post any reviews, but excellent service here. We hired 2 cars its next to the hotel and almost all brand new Kia cars. Even we delayed two hours later for the returning, they understood the issue and it was free of charge.

We were very happy with the service, car and price. Everything went smoothly. We highly recommend Smart Wheels. We are always nervous renting from a new and non-franchise company as there are horror stories about being overcharged or hidden charges after you leave the country but we were pleased this did not happen with Smart Wheels. We stayed in the Renaissance Creek, right next to Smart Wheels, so it was super convenient. We even extended our rental without any problems.

El auto que rentamos fue muy cómodo, amplio y estaba perfectamente limpio al momento de recibirlo. La atención en la oficina también fue muy cordial y amable.
Sin embargo, como sugerencia, sería bueno que informaran de antemano que la tarifa cambia para devolver el auto en el aeropuerto, ya que lo informamos por Whatsapp y en la oficina y nunca nos aclararon que tenía un costo adicional. Un día antes de devolver el auto nos informaron de un costo extra que no teníamos previsto. Sería conveniente que toda la información se aclare desde el principio. El resto del servicio fue excelente.

Smart Wheels Car Rental is conveniently located at the cruise port, behind security gates, making it an easy access for shore excursions. The check-in process was smooth with a prior reservation. However, at check-in, the contracted fee agreed upon at booking ($50 for sandy or wet seats) was changed to $150 for sandy or wet seats. This wasn't agreed upon before booking, but it was required for check-in. While the vehicle mechanically worked fine, it wasn't cleaned/vacuumed before our booking, and a faulty seatbelt meant one passenger had to sit unbelted in the rear seat. Given the importance of "no sand or wet seats," it was ironic that the car was not in pristine condition before it was issued to a customer. I took multiple photos of the sand and faulty equipment beforehand, as did the check-in staff, to ensure we were not charged for damage or conditions that were not our fault. Given it was a busy day, we had to accept the vehicle as is anyway. That said, we had a blast on our shore excursion and had no issues whatsoever during our journey to and from the cruise port. Returning the vehicle was smooth and convenient. While we would likely use Smart Wheels again for its convenience of access of the cruise port, I wonder if there are other rental companies with better vehicles that would offer cruise port pick-up or delivery.

Very easy rental right from the cruise port! Instructions that were emailed were very clear and the office was easy to locate. You confirm the rental and they hand you they keys. Clean vehicle (Nissan versa) that had charging ports and Apple Car play. Definitely recommend if you are considering renting a car during your port day in Curacao!

The whole process is very easy. Staff is friendly and very service minded. Highly recommended.

Één punt waar misschien beter op gelet kan worden. Raam was aan de binnenkant vettig waardoor in het donker rijden niet fijn is.

Alles was perfect geregeld. Er was een klein probleempje en dat werd meer dan perfect opgelost

Nette keurige auto gekregen, netjes en vlot geholpen. Een dingetje,vorig jaar een auto gehuurd die kapot ging op de laatste dag , dynamo overleden, zou voor dit jaar iets geregeld wezen maar nergens terug gevonden in administratie. De verhuurder zou er een aantekening van maken
