Brian (in Seattle) is the kind of person you want helping you move. He will work with you to make sure you're taken care of while also making sure he's not impacting other innocent bystanders of your move.

Smartboxes are smaller and easier to use, especially if you're planning to park them on the street (with a city permit, of course). When we couldn't find street parking for the Smartboxes we left two of them in a no parking zone. Brian didn't have to, but he came back later in the day so we could move them to a legal spot.

I am sure if i'd gone with PODs single big container I would have never been able to make my move.

Brian was highly communicative throughout the load and unload process. Using a more local player like Smartbox was the right decision for me.

Excellent experience. The cheapest deal I could find for storing my things away from 6 months. They wave the first pickup and delivery cost if you store more than 3 months. They were super flexible with my pick up date I needed to change it the night before my pick up date because I wasn't done packing yet. Fit all my furniture in one box, but I could have easily gotten 2 for the price. Great company. We will see how everything looks when I grab things from the unit in the upcoming months. You can also go into your unit with no cost.

Everyone I spoke to and met was very nice and friendly. They were able to answer all my questions and even followed up the next day to see if I may have any additional questions. Very affordable prices and I am glad that I chose smartbox

Do I need to say more than my title? Think that says it all! Use them again in a heartbeat, and have already suggested them to others.

The process of arranging for use of a SmartBox was easy & delivery went very smoothly. Will definitely use SmartBox again.

Two of my 4 boxes leaked. When I followed up with the Fort Lauderdale Smartbox company they said they would get back to me... they didn't. Two calls and two emails and still no one will call me back.

We couldn't be more happy with Smartbox. We ordered 3 boxes to store in our driveway while having our hardware floors redone. Brian was great to work with. He kept us posted on the time of delivery. He even made time available to pick up on the day we needed even though he had a full calendar. We can't speak for storage or long distance hauls but for what we needed it was perfect and inexpensive. We highly recommend Smartbox.

I love the experience; however the estimated space of the boxes can be a little more detail. I actually need 4 boxes for a two bedroom place with a basement furniture and a washer and dryer. Also, I didn't like that I had to pay $44.50 because they came out without me okaying them to pick up and then, when I call and spoke to a representative at around 9pm on July 2, letting them know that I was not going to be available on July 3 and to go ahead and pick up the boxes, but it didn't get picked up until July 6. I wish there was a backup labor plan in place just in case a customer needs moving help to load the boxes.

From scheduling to delivery to pick up, SmartBox was awesome! We needed temporary storage of decluttering items while our house was listed. It was a perfect solution!

Things went smoothly for drop off and pick up. I had to change the pick up date and they were very accommodating.

Great option for urgent short term needs but will likely use again for longer term. The delivery and pickup went smoothly and our preferred temp location for the box was accommodated. Delivered on Fri, picked up Sat as planned. skilled & super nice people!

Communication and service was fantastic. My only drawback was the claim a single container could hold a "one bedroom apartment." Not true. My bed took up half the container. I had to sell my sofa. If you have a one bedroom apartment - get two!

In addition to reading the reviews on Yelp, I was blown away by not only the reasonable price but the customer service (from scheduling the units to delivery). If you are looking for a great way to store your items prior to moving, these folks are the ones you want. All the cost were fully explained up front, the delivery driver showed up when then said they would, the units are nice and clean...all around an amazing experience!

Start to finish no problems whatsoever great company. Extremely professional kind courteous.

This company SUBS out all services and will not tell you up front. They will not accept responsibility for any mishaps during the process of moving your possessions.

Once your credit card is charged UPFRONT - all communication ends and their Customer Service is non existent. They cannot meet their own deadlines in their contracts and will argue with you about their many operational and customer services issues without accepting any responsibility for their set expectations.

If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Very reasonably priced, easy delivery and helpful customer service! I would highly recommend Smartbox to anyone looking for storage or moving containers.

Brian runs a great franchise. Very efficient, friendly and coordinates with customers. Had 2 containers brought and place perfectly. Brian called to confirm placement. Was very flexible when we needed a pick up date/time.
Phone customer support has been spot on as well. So far, very positive experience.

I had an exceptional experience with the Smartbox Driver. He was totally detail oriented in the way that he lined up the boxes. He made sure that I had enough room on all sides, and even moved a few things to make it fit well. It's really helped in packing them. When I offered a tip, he refused. I would most certainly use Smartbox again, just based on this initial experience.

We checked around and determined that Smartbox had the best program - especially, since they store the boxes inside and had the best prices.

From ordering the boxes by phone and email to prompt delevery and pick up the folks involved have been most helpful and polite. At this point, the boxes have not been returned thus I am hoping all furniture stored will be in the same condition as when it was stored. Am grateful to the company for responding quickly to my "cry" for more boxes the day the movers were here! This has been the only drawback with using smart boxes...they are somewhat smaller than the movers and I expected. At this point, am not sure if the movers packed things as well as they could have (I did use a moving company for this project!) as they filled each box. They were told that you should be able to fit one room in 1 1/2 boxes. I also had several pieces that would ot fit in the boxes...that was surprising. But, all in all, I have been pleased with the service at this point.
