Extremely disappointing experience with Smart Homes Agency. Their team was unprepared during house viewings, failed to highlight any of the property’s strengths, and gave no feedback at all. Communication was poor and the whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable estate agent.

Nathan and ryan done a great job. Thay keep a nice and tidy and was veey friendly.

Smart home took over the ownership of the building in which I rent my commercial premises around 12 months ago. I have been a tenant for 13 years and because I am under my original lease and they can’t increase my rent they have been vile ever since! I had an agreement in place that I am allowed to park my car in the car park in the building as all tenants are usually at work and therefore I have parked there for 13 years without a single issue! Smart home emailed me, threatening to clamp my vehicle if I continued to park there (the car park of the building of which I am a tenant of also!) then this Sunday 21/09/2025 I arrived at work and thank god I was there, as my ceiling caved in yet again with a leak from the flat above (nothing to do with me and not my fault) and smart homes sent a plumber to the tenant upstairs who incurred zero damages, they completely ignored me, sent no one help me, are refusing to accept liability, won’t return my calls and won’t accept my claim for loss of earnings as I am a tattoo artist and funnily enough I can’t have dirty shower water coming through my ceiling while I tattoo a client, so had to cancel on my client so I lost £200 and incurred damages to my art work that I hand painted and spend hours on.

I have used smart homes for 2 properties I have sold of late and had fantastic support from the Team who worked hard to make sure both myself and the buyer were kept updated as the sale progressed. Couldn't have asked for an easier or more professional Estate Agent to work with! Appreciate all the support and will definitely use them again in the future

Brilliant estate agency, totally professional and care deeply about their customers. I've just completed the sale of my late mother's property with them and it went so smoothly. I was shocked to find my daughter living in a damp mouldy property, she’s vulnerable with health problems and there has been no help or support to fix the problems. How can you justify renting a property in that condition? Taking people’s money while the property rots , disgusting.

I have recently used Smart Homes to get my commercial property (Shirley) leased out. The process was flawless in finding a reliable, suitable tenant that met all the conditions I required from the incoming tenant. My point of contact was Warren Matthews. He was a delight to work with. Getting in touch with him was easy. He was swift to notify me with updates. Warren had even updated me on his day off as well as out-of-office hours on numerous occasions. He was able to source the right tenant in a relatively short amount of time. Lots of problems with inferior glass , customer service just totally blanking us ,now another window has shot,will phone but will not hold my breath.

We contacted smart homes to help sell what had been the family home since 1959, when our parents had moved in as newly weds. This was an emotional time for us, but staff at smart homes could not have been more understanding or supportive. They were professional and made the process as easy as possible. Their communication could not be faulted and the house sold very quickly. The after sales team were also excellent. We had a specific contact, who regularly contacted us and our solicitor to ease the process. If we left a message, it was responded to very quickly. Faultless. Thank you

awful properties where the staff just ignore the problems and take your money. happy to let you live in damp mouldy properties and will up rent yearly without fixing any of the problems.

Avoid using this agency, they are dishonest and telling lies. I asked them for viewing of different 4 properties, they tell not available, or not accepting kids, or any other excuse for each one. I spent 2 weeks searching their web site, filling forms they asked for, making many phone calls to discuss options and arrange viewing. They just can not tell we do not like to provide you service for some reason. They may have to explain here.
