They told us that they were third-party provide a working on behalf of BT and that our system was an old Internet system and that we needed to upgrade for better service came while I was not there spoke to a part-time receptionist and said to her that the phone new phones will be installed next week. She asked consistently if they would be here and they said yes we work on behalf of BTE we do all the repairs and all the work for BT reassuring her that they were from BT asked to sign the paperwork so that the phones could be delivered she reminded him but she is not authorised to sign agreements or contracts or anything like that. She does not have to authority as she is just a part-time person and he said to her no no no we know that it will have to be a director that sign the contract you are not signing an agreement or a contract. There is nothing of the sort that is required. We are just taking a signature for the delivery of the phones turns out that they actually got her to sign a seven year contract on behalf of the company and they are saying because it’s a B2B contract there’s no calling off period and you need to pay thousands of pounds to get this cancelled when you ask them about the cancellation fee they do not want to give that information to you. They did not give a copy of the paperwork to Arif. We had to ask for the contract to be given and they kept saying send us an email you want to cancel but was refusing to give the information about the cancellation information and how much it would cost so it was very obvious that they are dishonest and they’re trying to trick you out of your money please be careful do not register with such companies or believe when they say they are linked to your provider please be aware we have reported them to Fraud action we have reported them to the trading standards and we have taken advice from citizen advice who is also now taking the information so that they can be investigated. We have also contacted BT and told them about the company that’s using their name and BT have taken a note of this as well and will be looking into it. I suggest that if you had any deal dealing with this company that you ensure that you contact all your authorities available so that they can all be investigated and take action against such liars.

Great service, had new phones installed much better than Bt

My experience with Smart Connect has been great, had Mark and Danny out to install some additional wifi extensions, they also looked at my CCTV and managed to get that working properlywhich they didnt have to do as this is supplied by another company, if I new they did cctv I would have got through them!

Unfortunately we had an issue with our broadband today. BUT I called the helpline and spoke to an actual human within seconds. Easy fix and took a matter of minutes. This could have been one of those annoying things that drags on for ages but I got the help I needed instantly and from a very helpful and patient fella. Cheers

Had our new office phones and broadband installed yesterday and everything went live this morning. Quick and easy switch! As soon as it was live there was someone on the phone personalising our calls and making everything seem extra professional. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience working with Smart Connect, much easier having all services with the same supplier.

I wasn't aware of the switch over so was sceptical at first but they were very informative and calmly explained everything I needed to know. I'm now happily switched over thanks to them.

2nd site now completed and up and running . Bt wanted 3k upfront plus an additional payment per month for the work !!!!!

Brian has done the whole package for a lot less per month and no upfront cost . Now with my 2 sites running under one roof its nearly 1/3 the cost of the BT package .

Had smart connect come in to sort our phone system. They came in showed us the money we’d be saving (which was well over 75% of the original bill) and we signed then and there. Since then they’ve kept up really good contact regarding the instillation, bills and cancellation of our previous contract. Top tier would recommend to anyone who’s in the market for new phones or even just want to spend less!

Very professional service from Brian, what a guy. I wasn't sure how my business would be affected by the telecommunications switchover but he gave me clear and concise information that put my mind at rest, and as an added benefit was able to find a way to help me reduce my outgoings substantially!

Switched away from my provider who I had been with 8 years, Stal who came out originally was very helpful and honest with us throughout. Engineers Tom and Zak were also very helpful on the day of instal helping us understand how the new phones work! Thank you smart coms!

Quote you certain prices on sign up, salesman didn't show or explain the full contract. You get sent one hours later with no cooling off period or get out clauses signing you up to lease there services for 7 years but line contract runs out after 2. Then the hidden charges come in to effect months later. Price paid is 3 times more than quoted. Phone and broadband is costing us in the range of £230 p/m for minimal use. Say they are going to upgrade you to fibre and promise the earth. Phones are ok, still billing us for broadband 5 months after we cancelled it , Scammers at best. Unregulated. For any business the only way out would be to pay the extortionate 10k get out fees or close the business BEWARE COMPLETE SCAMMERS

Avoid this company at all costs!!

Called pertaining to be from Open Reach replacing landlines. Unknowingly signed us up to a 7 year contract with hidden fees. They try to get you to pay thousands of pounds to get out of the contract and threaten debt collectors if you don't comply.

You are not given time to read anything but they pressure you for you to sign and dont leave you a legible document to read. You are told you would be paying the same amount as you are paying for your existing phone contract and you are told there will be no charge for the Voip phones which is not true.

DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY!!
Absolute scam
Made out they were updating phone lines and broadband as part of a BT update.
They are not doing anything of the sort they have just found a way to get into businesses and make them sign up to their astronomical charges and then they double them the minute you sign up and if you try to leave you have to pay the full 7 years cancellation which is around £17k.
Can’t believe companies like this are able to rip small businesses off like this!

Do not use this company . Awful service. The camera arrived in a poor condition. I did accept a second camera which arrived in a worse state so I asked for a refund but would have to pay to return the item which I would have to pay for !
