Have used Small Pet select for both hen and guinea pig products - really good quality at a decent price and very yummy according to the animals! Excellent customer service too.

My rabbits love all the treats and food I get from small pet select. I only use the hay from small pet select as it's always fresh with no dust at all and my rabbits absolutely love it. Always quickly delivered and a huge selection at fantastic prices

My guinea pigs love all the products we have purchased from Small Pets Select over the years. The one time there was a mix up with the order, it was sorted out very quickly. It is one of those companies that I had no worries about raising the issue as I knew it would be sorted out quickly and effectively.

I have get some bedding shavings for my first ever hamster, I have received lots of free samples, it is very kind :) It arrived in 48 hours! My shipping was missing an item, but they have shipped it immediately when i told them. I am very happy with the products and service!

I have made several inquiries in the past, and it was always James who replied to me. He has been very efficient and courteous. If your company has only this one James, he would be an excellent employee.

I had a couple of (self inflicted) issues with my Small Pet Select orders and the support team were super helpful in figuring out where I’d gone wrong (accidentally making separate subscriptions rather than all in the same one) and were very patient with me. I also recently needed to cancel an order and they cancelled it really quickly. Their delivery is always really fast, hay quality is great - thanks team!!

Communication with this company is terrible.
Raising serious concerns about the hay seems to go ignored. My pet was choking on a forgein object and had to rush to emergency exoctic vets.

Was going to order from this company then saw they are selling Aspen wood shavings as suitable bedding for chinchillas. I use a specialist exotic vets but any decent vets will confirm you should NEVER use wood shavings for chinchilla bedding even it is dust extracted as it can still cause breathing difficulties. I don't feel confident purchasing from a company that can't even get the basics right. I also note another reviewer is concerned about the safety of an item they have advertised for rabbits and she has been ignored.

Good price for the bedding and got free treats. Sadly the bedding I brought had small blue plastic bits in it which made me stressed out to give to my hamster and the fact I spent £121 on it. They’ve offered me store credit. But I’m not sure about shopping there again. I had to pick it out but I’m very anxious about there still being bits inside the hamsters enclosure that unaware of. Be careful when purchasing.

I sent a negative review for an item which i thought was unsuitable for my rabbit.
When i checked their website they had not uploaded my review. I resent the review but once again they didn't upload it.
The last reviews for the item i bought was in 2021 which I thought was strange but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
It seems they are selective with which reviews they choose to upload for their benefit.
I won't be using them again.

I started using Small Pet Select orchard hay a few years ago and my guinea pigs certainly appreciate the difference! I had been concerned that they didn’t eat enough hay, but they LOVE Small Pet Select!
I recently had to block my credit card as I had been the victim of a scam, so my subscription was put on hold. As soon as my new credit card arrived, I contacted Small Pet Select and my new supply of hay was delivered in less than 24 hours. Amazing service! My guinea pig started munching straight away!

Complete rip off tinny bag for £20 left in rain in a jiffy bag, terrible quality, don't use this company, terrible

Have been ordering the mixed hay box for past 2 years. The latest order very clearly wasn't usually filled to the brim. It had a significant dip in one of the 4 types of hay. I emailed a photo to customer service. All he said was 'I'll let the US know as this packed in the US'. The box of hay is very expensive (£33 including postage) compared to most other brands so asked for a courtesy discount or replacement box but was requested asked to weigh the box. Don't have weighing machine, so I requested a replacement box instead. Was told I would have to post it back at my own expense as hay weighs differently and they are confident the correct amount has been placed within box, which is really unacceptable, given the very significant dip visible. This will be the last time I order from this company. I was prepared to buy this hay despite the very high price tag. But I draw the line at terrible customer service and paying full price and not getting the full amount of hay I should be getting.

Which should be their Very best..Boasting 4 types of hay or 2 thats identifiable & 2 thats just Dust & Disintegration...Same as the 10 types of flowers & herbs ?? I could recognise marigold but in the worst state of its life..This was supposed to be the highlight of Coco the little rescued Bunnies life...There were a small handful of sticky berries but how long had they been there ? I couldn't risk them.@ £25 4 a small box..You'ld expect something within the 'edible ' range.Utterly disapointed..Give these American perishables a shelf life please.. & Refunds should be in order 'cept they dont answer the phone...

This company is fantastic, great customer service, speedy delivery & great products. I always order my hamster bedding from them. Also a great rewards scheme!

I Decided to buy from this company and purchase some bedding that was marked as “99.9% dust free” and had only 4 and 5 star reviews so I thought was amazing. Turns out these people are scammers and only upload the positive reviews so it seems like they’re trustworthy. I wrote a review and it wasn’t even published . Very fishy considering the bedding was the worst I’ve ever seen. The dust was so bad it was Sticking to my hands and floating everywhere I have never seen anything like this before. My pet rats have chronic respiratory infections too and it’s disgusting how misleading and dishonest the owners of this business really are. You have to have your review approved by them so don’t bother buying from them because the products are not what it seem especially their low quality bedding that’s a health hazard. Waste of 30£ …
