Unable to watch bought films
I seem to have a recurring issue whereby I can’t watch a previously paid for film on my LGTV Sky store app. When calling Sky customer services to ask why, they asked me to download the app onto my phone… I don’t want to watch a film on my phone, and when I confirmed this, they cut me off!

Will never use Sky Store again!
Will never again purchase anything from these cheaters! Bought seasons 1-8 of a TV series but then stopped being a Sky customer. I didn't think this would be an issue since I had bought these seasons but came to log in today to find Sky does not recognise my email address. I have no way to access the content I bought which really stings. Sky's customer service is beyond useless. How do Sky get away with such behaviour where they can just deny you access to content you legally bought.

Sky Devices like stream pucks shouldnt count as devices taken up. I constantly have to change between devices and then waiting a month is a pain.
Mark in St David’s store is the BEST.
I’ve been with BT for Broadband and TV for the past 2 years.
BT kept putting their prices up, I was coming to the end of my contract with BT and I Googled other companies for cheaper Broadband.
I drive to the Sky Store in St David’s Centre Cardiff and as I walked in the store Mark asked if I needed help?
I explained my situation to Mark and he then asked if I wanted to know more about my options in switching my Broadband and TV?
He told me my options,
Long story short, I liked the package he offered and he put a request in to BT to take over my provider of Broadband and TV.
I received emails off BT and Sky that my switch was going through while I was in the store.
I got much faster Broadband and a lot more TV with Ultra HD for a lot cheaper a month than I was paying BT.
Mark will explain everything in detail, he even wrote on a piece of paper step by step instructions how to set it up if I’m having trouble with anything.
Mark also showed me what apps to download and he even logged into the apps to set them up.
Mark just made switching Broadband and TV from BT to Sky so easy.
You cannot delete your account
I wish I've read another review here that wrote about how hard it is to get your account deleted. I now have to use their GDPR form that surprise surprise doesn't work.
This is disgraceful and honestly very close to be illegal.
If I were a UK citizen I would report them to the authorities.

Email Issues
Three cheers to Callum Thomson of sky store in Liverpool One, had problems in sending emails on iPhone and iPad, Callum with his knowledge and expertise soon put us right and rectified the issue very professionally. Once again thank you Callum and will definitely recommend Sky to family and friends.
In Edinburgh shop
In Edinburgh shop and asked for assistance in tracing my sky.com email which was lost when transferring to new phone.
Vodaphone wouldn't help.
Sky dundee wouldn't help
Was really worried as had not had email for a few weeks.
Anyway, Jason came to my rescue and fixed the problem,not easily as I had no idea what my password was. A million thanks to Jason. Courteous, happy and very patient.

It’s a scam…. Sky workers said the movies will be free onVIP every Saturday! It was free only onece ….after that we have to wait for another email to allow us to watch different movie! otherwise keep watching same movie every Saturday which might take weeks, months or years✌️
Excessively difficult to remove your account
The app won't cast to Samsung or Android TVs or Fire TV sticks. Without an app on these platforms either, it makes the service useless for anyone not wanting to watch just on a mobile device.
The bigger problem is after discovering that this service isn't for you, Sky Store offers no way of deleting the account yourself. You have to contact their customer support service who will give you a long, complex list of GDPR reasons why they won't delete your information. I'm currently in a drawn-out process to at least get my payment details removed, but they're making it very difficult.
Films will no longer work with…
Films will no longer work with chromecast and keeps showing error 5000 tried taking to them to sort out but will not/can't help and on the internet there are many others with same problem, no point in buying movies/series from them anymore!
SKY STORE UPGRADE TO UHD
I don’t know how I feel about Sky Store And by that I mean every purchase you make is only in HD considering all TVs , all streaming boxes/devices are all in ultra HD these days so I think sky should consider selling movies and TV series (if available) Which majority of everything these days are and give us the option to purchase in UHD yes, they have movies You can stream in that quality, but there’s nothing better than owning it.…… Let’s take inside out 2 for example That has literally just been released. Sky is selling that for £13.99 in HD where Amazon Prime is selling it in ultra HD for the same price …… come on sky it’s not like you guys are low on funds …. You guys offer a lot of ultra HD options including TVs and streaming boxes , even packages …. I’m sure that you guys can change the purchase quality in Sky Store
No subtitles, no mention of subtitles
I rented a film and it didn't mention that there were no subtitles. I'm not a native English speaker and struggle with certain regional accents, so I couldn't watch the film.
It's 2024 - make content accessible. Or at the very least make it clear when it's not.

Sky Store is Just a Con
You pay for titles and you expect that you can watch these on any device any time. Nope you can only watch these on limited devices and you can only have 4 devices use the sky store.
Sky need to release the sky store app on more smart TVs rather than just LG ones and put the sky store on more devices like Xbox and PlayStation and allow to use as many devices as possible as we are buying the licences for these films we shouldn't be restricted by using sky store on limited devices.
I lose 2 slots for sky stream picks and this shouldn't be the case.

Terrible, I have had 2 ongoing issues for months, one since Sept 2023, and neither are showing any sign of being resolved.
The guys on the phone do not know what they are doing.
Poor Customer Service
Over the last 10 years we’ve purchased movies with Sky Store.
Unfortunately due to signing up with Sky again after some time away we are unable to merge the films from one account to the other.
I used the Sky Store online chat to speak to an advisor called “Susan” who was incredibly unhelpful and deliberately made me delete my computer cache in order to cancel the chat which I told her would happen, but she didn’t listen and told me to continue.
I then made a complaint to Sky Store about their poor customer service and Susan’s lack of help.
I sent my complaint on the 19th December.
Rather than asking for my security on both accounts they sent emails back and forth over the course of a month and now claim my security details are incorrect even though I’m emailing from the account registered. It’s now a month later and I still don’t have access to my films. I’ve told the complaints team I will get my films from elsewhere as this is just unbelievably poor service.
How can you complain when the complaints team are just as bad?
