I've used them twice to pick me up from Heathrow. The drivers were late on both occasions, around 35 minutes first time and 45 minutes late second time with drivers giving lame excuses. Customer service was helpful but waiting for 45 minutes is too much. The driver charged me £0.50 extra saying the card machine's gonna charge him extra. Why should I pay extra? He just charged me this fee without my consent. I didn't bother arguing but I'm leaving a review here.

For shorter journeys booked on the spot they have been fine.

These guys lie out of their back teeth! Keep telling you someone is on the way, even when you pre book. Would be great if the guy on the phone could speak English aswel. Give this company a huge miss! Absolute rubbish service and straight out liers.

Booked them. They turned up, waited less than 1 minute, by which time we hadn’t yet arrived at the exact collection location dot they drove off and charged a fee and refused to come back to collect. Terrible service.

We have used Skyline for years and have never experienced a problem. Cannot understand all these bad reviews. We will happily continue to use them, they have always been efficient and reliable.

I am surprised that this company has not returned my email or even bothered to respond to my complaint on Trustpilot. I am going to take legal action- DO NOT USE this cab service you will be very disappointed.

Booked a 7 seater minibus 5 days in advance & 1 hour before the time of pock up, had a call to say no minibuses were available!

We pre-booked a taxi days in advance for 00:15 and received a WhatsApp confirmation with a booking reference number, so naturally assumed everything was confirmed. When the taxi never arrived, we called the company at 00:20 only to be told they had no record of our booking whatsoever. Even worse, the booking reference was apparently linked to a completely different name and address that we had absolutely no connection to.

Despite this clearly being their mistake, we were told we’d need to make an entirely new booking. We were repeatedly told to use the app despite explaining multiple times that we were stranded in the middle of nowhere with no mobile data signal. One operator actually argued that because we could make a phone call, we “clearly had signal” — apparently not understanding the difference between phone signal and mobile data.

We were hung up on multiple times throughout the night, including by a particularly rude and dismissive operator called Jimmy, whose customer service was honestly shocking. At one point we were told a taxi was “5–10 minutes away,” then later told operators “can never provide estimates,” then later told it would actually be 45 minutes to an hour.

In total, we were stranded in the pitch black for around 1 hour and 45 minutes after our original booking time and were not picked up until approximately 2am.

To make matters even worse, we were originally quoted £48.90 for the journey, but I now have £59.76 taken from my credit card PLUS three additional pending charges for £59.76, £59.76 and £49.80.

I also later received another booking confirmation at 5:20am linked to another random name and address I have absolutely no connection to. Their systems are clearly an absolute mess.

The only positive part of this entire experience was the actual driver who eventually picked us up, who was polite and helpful.

Other than that, this was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.

The worst experience ever with any taxi. Driver kept cancelling and they kept confirming he is on his way when he hadn’t even left and was still wondering if he wanted to come pick us up. Wasted 2 hours at the airport because of these scumbags.

Breaches of section 21 of the equality act, failed to make reasonable adjustments for a disabled person, hung up the phone when trying to complain to a manager.

Booked an early morning airport transfer 2 weeks in advance of our flight. Had email confirmation. Phoned the day before to confirm everything was in order. Phoned again when the taxi didn’t show up. Was told it was minutes away, which was a lie. I then got a WhatsApp tracking message. The taxi was only dispatched after I chased. And was 35 minutes away from us. We wouldn’t have made our flight if we waited for them to show up. Ended up having to drive, pay premium short stay parking and were late for our flight. DO NOT trust this company if you want honesty and reliability.

Id give them a zero stars if that was an option...rip off taxi company still owe my 8 quid for a journey I didn't make ..rang them told them still waiting either don't use or pay cash..Never give this company bank details rip you right off ... dodgy use another taxi company if you can

Unreliable, 2 days in a row 30 mins for a taxi to arrive even if you book it with in advance, avoid!!!!

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Skyline in Wellingborough. I called to book a taxi and was sent a payment link, which I paid straight away. Within just 4 minutes, I received a call saying the taxi was outside. I went out immediately, but there was no taxi there.
When I called Skyline back, they told me the driver had waited 6 minutes, didn’t see me, and then left. However, at no point did I receive any notification or link to say the driver was 10 or even 5 minutes away—just a sudden call saying the taxi had arrived.
This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. It gives you no chance to be ready, especially when you’re relying on accurate updates.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with Skyline. The service is unreliable, and experiences like this show a clear lack of organisation and professionalism. I find them incompetent and won’t be booking with them again.

Moody driver , won't be using again

I have used skyline for 10 years now to get to and from work. The app was not working a few weeks ago and ended up charging me twice as ‘Apple Pay isn’t working’ but yet still took payment. I have just tried to book with skyline to be told that my account is fraudulent as I requested a refund from my bank and for them to investigate. Skyline are now saying I owe £46?? Appalling company.

Reserved a slot for a taxi on the app an hour and half before I required it. To then get a call a literally few mins before it was due to be advised no drivers available. Even though the customer service lady apologised I got the impression she really wasn’t bothered about letting people down. Absolutely appalling service to be let down so last minute which then made me very late as I had to find an alternative way of getting there. What an awful thing to do to someone so last minute.

I’m writing regarding a recent ride where my toddler accidentally left a shoe mark on the seat. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it immediately, but I apologized twice as soon as I became aware.

The driver later left a remark stating he would cancel next time. I found this comment insensitive and unnecessary, particularly as I was travelling with two young children and rushing to meet a school commitment.

While I understand the importance of keeping vehicles clean, I believe the situation was handled without empathy

Pre-booked a taxi for 11.45 to train station. Booking accepted, no contact, driver not assigned. Called skyline who said drivers don't have to accept the booking and nobody is available!!!! Poor excuse for a taxi service with zero customer service skills! My daughter will possibly miss her train!!

The taxi showed up he called us and we informed him we would be down in a couple of minutes. As we approached the car he drove off whilst we were standing right by his car! Unreliable and waste of time
