A note from our CEO: "I want to acknowledge some of the negative reviews we received earlier this year. I won't shy away from saying some of these criticisms are indeed justified, and I want to address them upfront.
In the last 12 months (particularly during 2022) we encountered issues around the clarity of communication concerning customs fees for international shipments. Some local tax authorities necessitate customs and duties payments (VAT) to import products into their respective countries. As an importer, you can either pay directly to the tax authority, pay to the delivery company (and they'll pay the tax authority), or pay us during the checkout process (and we'll pay the tax authority). Regardless, customs fees are an inevitable part of the process. Despite our attempts to clearly communicate this on our shipping page and cart, it appears this hasn't been as clear as we'd hoped, leading to discomfort among many. For this, I sincerely apologise.
What matters now is how we are working on this issue. We are actively finding ways to ensure that the customs fees don't spring up as unwelcome surprises.
Furthermore, we've revitalized our customer service department. We have dedicated and passionate customer service team who work full-time (around the clock) to ensure every query is answered, with an impressive goal of replying to all tickets within an hour. In fact, most tickets are currently answered within just five minutes.
We have just finished setting up a new warehouse in UK, to put us closer to our customers and make it easier to provide excellent service, with fast shipping and simplified exchanges. And we are working on our next location in Canada

I decided to do a color match with #60 Platinum Blonde
I decided to do a color match with Sitting Pretty about 8pm and was not expecting to have a response until morning. To my surprise I had a response to my snapshots and a couple of choices for the color match. We chatted about the violets in my haircolor and potentially using a #20 cream blonde because of the warmer tones in my hair. An hour later I decided to send more snapshots of my hair in a brighter room and after reading the recommendations which were very thorough with an explanation as to why the specialist selected the hair color, we decided I could go with the #60 platinum blonde. I felt they answered all my questions and if there was any doubt they asked for more photos to confirm the decision. Best interaction and I would definitely recommend this service to anyone with questions about what color to purchase. I can hardly wait for it to arrive!

Love my Halo extensions
I'm in love with my halo extensions. I love how easy to put them in and take them out without demanding my hair. I bought my first halo extensions in 2019 and since then I can’t stop wearing them. I have the fine for every day and the medium for a special occasion or night out. They are so natural and nobody can notice that is not your hair. I just bought new ones today even though my hair is finally long I still love my halo to the fullest. My overall experience with Sitting Pretty was amazing
Could not fault the customer service experience, great response time and effective communication. My Halo was delayed so I made an email enquiry and they were promt with there response and super helpful. My Halo was out of stock so they had it shipped from the UK and covered the additional postage charges.
Could not be happier with the Halo the colour match was perfect and the halo itself is not only beautiful but also very comfortable to wear. Initially I was concerned as it did not seem to fit snuggly, I contacted the team and was sent links that showed how to fit the wire to the halo correctly and that solved my problem.
My overall experience with Sitting Pretty was amazing.

Shipping is a shambles- DO NOT PURCHASE FROM UK
I ordered my halo a few days ago with express shipping and still haven’t received a dispatch email even though it says on the website that they dispatch within a few hours/days! I am extremely disappointed in the misinformation on the website.
The halo I ordered was ‘in stock’ and I also paid extra for express shipping. A few days later I still hadn’t received a dispatch email and so I emailed customer service to find out that the halo I ordered was actually ‘out of stock’ (it STILL says it is in stock on the website)
I need the halo asap and so this service is an absolute SCAM!
Extremely disappointed as I was initially impressed with their customer service but clearly the actual operations of the business is a mess and doesn’t take customer experience seriously once they’ve taken our money.

Keeshia provided stellar customer service. She responded quickly to colour match me, gave additional advice on which thickness I should select, and even provided reference photos when I was finding it difficult choosing between two shades. She also generated me a new code when the current promo sale code didn’t work for me. 10/10 customer service!

I love the idea of the fine halo
I love the idea of the fine halo, I love that the hair is human hair. I love how easy it seems to use in the online tutorials, and how great the women look with this halo on.
Unfortunately, this halo just does not work for me.
The texture of the hair is coarse and it does feel a little like barbie hair, it also knots very easily
I ordered the medium brown, but my halo is actually a very dark chocolate/auburn shade. It's a very pretty color, but not anything like my medium/dark natural brown hair. It looks like a match online. I don't color my hair and am not about to start just to match extensions. The halo is so heavily processed, I would hesitate to try coloring it. Also don't like how it sits, not secure and I would be nervous to be outside with this on. Last, the hair itself had a lot of breakage? Not sure why, but it looked rough. For me this was a disappointing no. I'm still searching for easy care natural looking extensions that don't ruin my natural hair.

Far exceeded expectations- fab company, great product, best customer service.
This product (the halo, I now have it in thick and medium and in two colours) surpassed my expectations. I have bought clip ins and wigs before, I liked clips ins much more than wigs (I could never make them fit properly, they are hot and uncomfortable and slip) I had no idea how natural a hair extension product could feel and look and this is just part of my story….
I was a difficult customer to Sitting Pretty. Their customer service team were beyond patient with me. I didn’t believe them when they colour matched me as …I’m GOOD at colour (I’m an artist). I didn’t listen to them when they suggested the right colour for me (dark blonde/light brown, as I have my hair coloured darker underneath and quite a light blonde on top. I firstly ordered the beige blonde/ light brown. I was delighted with it, friends couldn’t believe it wasn’t my own hair, I had it cut by my hairdresser (love her but she cut it too short. So yesterday, I thought I would order another but not so thick. Again, they gently suggested I needed the dark blonde/light brown. I was worried they couldn’t get it to me in time for my trial hair appointment (next week) prior to my wedding in September. I asked for it to be expedited (thinking it would take at least 5 days) it arrived TODAY!
Throughout all my ‘disgruntled’ customer communication, the whole team were sweet and could not do enough for me. Not only did it arrive the day after my order but the quality was superb…and I can’t tell where my hair ends and this halo begins.
Don’t go anywhere else, don’t have any doubts (I asked if I could colour it if it wasn’t the colour I wanted - their team sent me helpful YouTube videos - were SO helpful. You couldn’t be in safer hands. I have looked at other, less expensive products but I am SO glad I chose Sitting pretty.
I’m very stubborn (I am in my sixties, I have been in Sales, I don’t fall for smooth sales talk. These are an Uber-professional company who take customer service seriously ….and they have a fantastic product. Listen to their advice, they know what they are talking about. Pay a little more and you will have a product that you love, instead of buying cheaper, less quality hair enhancements.
They have a customer for life in me.

So I was able to send it back and spoke with the lovely sitting pretty team, who were amazing and supportive. Customer service is absolutely amazing. The hair itself is stunning and the colour match is perfection! I'm still gaining confidence with the fit and playing around with how to wear my hair with the Halo but I just love the colour and quality. Amazing!!!

This really is the best halo hair extension! It's so easy to put! Literally takes me a minute only. It also blends with my hair so well, it looks very natural. I'm never going back to clip-ins.

Wow truly amazing customer care…
Sitting Pretty is doing everything right. This was my first purchase with the company. I was colour match and once I received my halo I was very impressed by the product, packaging and overall presentation.I had to contact the customer care team regarding a slight fault with the halo. The team was exceptional very helpful, super fast at responding to my questions/emails and organizing a replacement promptly. The entire process has been smooth sailing and truly amazing. Highly recommend and will definitely look to buy from this company again.

My go-to preggo halo hair do!
To all those preggo mommas out there, this is my go-to easy wear hairdo whenever I go out or in a video call. I recalled how I struggled to be made up esp when I was on my 3rd trimester, so I felt ugly at times, but wearing my halo added a bit of sassiness and cuteness in my mood. I think I need a darker shade now since I haven't coloured my hair for quite some time. Happy with my halo!

The customer care team was really helpful!! I was between colours and they helped me choose while answering alllll of my questions haha
They halo itself is super thick and comfortable. It took a a few minutes to figure out and replace the wire but honestly its really realistic looking and once you figure out how to put it on its super easy. They suggest getting it trimmed/layered so that'll make it even nicer!
Shipping was pretty good too. Came relatively fast (10 days-ish?) I was in Canada so I had to pay some customs fees, but that's normal out here ;_;

Shade match
I requested a shade match online and was contacted so quickly by the team to help me with this. My hair has highlights and lowlights and I wasn’t sure which colour would match best, I took advice from the team and purchased the shade they suggested. It is literally a PERFECT match. I couldn’t believe how good they look straight from the packet and also considering I haven’t had them cut to blend in more yet. The hair feels amazing and is exactly what I was looking for. The girls I was emailing with questions were all so helpful too. Very happy customer :-)
