A note from our CEO: "I want to acknowledge some of the negative reviews we received earlier this year. I won't shy away from saying some of these criticisms are indeed justified, and I want to address them upfront.
In the last 12 months (particularly during 2022) we encountered issues around the clarity of communication concerning customs fees for international shipments. Some local tax authorities necessitate customs and duties payments (VAT) to import products into their respective countries. As an importer, you can either pay directly to the tax authority, pay to the delivery company (and they'll pay the tax authority), or pay us during the checkout process (and we'll pay the tax authority). Regardless, customs fees are an inevitable part of the process. Despite our attempts to clearly communicate this on our shipping page and cart, it appears this hasn't been as clear as we'd hoped, leading to discomfort among many. For this, I sincerely apologise.
What matters now is how we are working on this issue. We are actively finding ways to ensure that the customs fees don't spring up as unwelcome surprises.
Furthermore, we've revitalized our customer service department. We have dedicated and passionate customer service team who work full-time (around the clock) to ensure every query is answered, with an impressive goal of replying to all tickets within an hour. In fact, most tickets are currently answered within just five minutes.
We have just finished setting up a new warehouse in UK, to put us closer to our customers and make it easier to provide excellent service, with fast shipping and simplified exchanges. And we are working on our next location in Canada

🚨 WARNING: NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! SCAM ALERT! 🚨 Read This SHOCKING Review Before You Buy from Sitting Pretty! Unethical Practices Exposed!
Potential customers, please take my experience as a *SERIOUS WARNING!* Giving this company zero stars would be generous, as I have never encountered such abysmal customer service in my entire life. I implore you: AVOID this company to spare yourself time, money and stress.
My order turned into a nightmare when Sitting Pretty randomly delayed delivery by a month (judging the many other poor reviews, this seems to be common practice for the company). I currently live in Australia; a family emergency means I have to return to the UK. With the new delivery date incompatible with my location, I naturally requested a cancellation and refund. Sitting Pretty flatly refused, citing a questionable "no refund for discounted products" policy – a tactic to avoid refunds even when they have altered your order. Their frequent "discounts" and "sales" are misleading; I believe this is a SCAM to cover unethical customer treatment.
Fortunately, I have knowledge of my rights, I stood firm against their deceptive practices however it's frightening and disheartening to think of those falling victim to this company's lack of ethics and denial of basic human decency. I dread to think how many people have been ripped off by this company.
After a chain of over 15 back-and-forth emails, I sent my final email which included a legal warning - A manager finally emerged, “apologetic” and a promising a refund. Keep in mind, this entire ordeal revolved around a product that hadn't even begun processing. The refund is still incomplete, leaving me short by $38.11, an unjust loss for a product that never progressed beyond the initial stage.
I feel this company operates unethically and unfairly. It's astonishing they haven't faced closure for mistreating customers. I urge all considering Sitting Pretty to look elsewhere and spare yourselves the painful ordeal I endured.
In my opinion, the team at Sitting Pretty lack compassion and basic customer service skill – I am truly shocked this business still operates. For hair extensions, consider Zala; excellent customer service, superior hair quality and more hair for a reasonable price.
I believe, you should *AVOID* Sitting Pretty at all costs.

Girls...please just don't do it
Girls...run! I had an issue with a halo I purchased which was a low-quality extension and they claim they have a 90 day return policy, in which I contacted them after having them less than a month and they said I could not return them. I wore them once! All I did was tried rollers on them. No styling products, no coloring, no cutting...nothing! Why even have a return policy!? These are low-quality and the customer service is atrocious.

Unethical and unreasonable
They claim to colour match you with 99.6% accuracy. I provided clear photos but unfortunately received a halo that was too light for my natural hair.
I returned it for an exchange but they don't get the alternative colour back in stock until mid-November, which represents three MONTHS since my initial order.
Rather than making amends by sending me a thicker halo on the house, they invited me to pay more money to upgrade. I said no and asked for a refund. They said yes but only with charging me... wait for it... £31.92 for "processing fees". It feels like a scam.
I find it completely unacceptable that they got my colour match wrong, aren't able to supply a suitable replacement in a timely manner and want to charge me an extortionate amount for getting absolutely nothing in return. My other option was to spend over £200 on pillowcases (whilst losing shipping fees for returning an unsuitable halo).
Would never recommend and would never shop from again.

Great products, excellent quality
After trying other brands of halo extensions, I’m SO excited I found these! I have super fine and thin hair and wear extensions for volume (not length). I purchased both the “fine” and “medium” extensions. These are the only extensions that seamlessly blend with my natural hair and add the perfect amount of volume. The weft lies flat against my head and the detachable clips are a huge bonus! The clips have Velcro backs and can be adjusted/placed anywhere on the back of the weft. Compared to other brands I’ve tried, these extensions are far superior in both design and quality without being way more expensive! Absolutely would purchase again!

Obsessed with my Sitting Pretty Halo…
This is one of the best beauty investments I’ve ever made.
I couldn’t believe how soft and gorgeous the hair is and how secure, easy to fit and natural looking the halo is. It is so much lighter and more comfortable to wear than my remy clip-in extensions from another brand, and I didn’t think I would find anything that I would love as much as I love those. But I am obsessed with my Sitting Pretty halo.
To add, before and after customer support was amongst the best I’ve experienced from any online enterprise. The responses were quick, personalized and always so helpful and friendly. The colourmatch was spot on.

I have bought 2 halo extensions from Sitting Pretty. I did the color match for the first one but it wasn't quite accurate so I dyed it to match and that worked fine. I have fine hair and this hair is still thicker and looks a bit fake if you look closely. I cut this one to my current length to give me more volume.
For the 2nd purchase I ordered a different color to see if it would blend a bit better. I opened the box but not the bag inside, which is completely sealed and no way for anything to touch the hair. I decided I wanted to return it since the color didn't look quite right, and was surprised to not be able to return an unopened halo. I can understand if you open it, try it on, etc. But a fully sealed Halo should be eligible for a return - especially when requested within a couple days of receipt. I was offered an exchange, but I don't need another one if none of them really match my current hair color. It really isn't that clear about the return policy, even if it's listed somewhere in the fine print. So I just wanted to write this review so people will know about the return policy.

Natural and healthy option + amazing look.
I have 2 beautiful Sitting Pretty halos, one is longer and darker for more Ombre look and the other one exactly the same colour as my own (we nailed choosing the correct tone -so so happy about that). The lighter halo has more fine hair - supper soft and really similar to my hair type.
It is literally the most comfortable accessory ever. At the beginning i was little worried that maybe the transparent string can be uncomfortable for the head skin - but this has never been an issue even if I wear it for the whole day. So easy to put it on and take off. Funny thing - most of my friends have never asked what have i done with my hear because it looks really that natural.
I love the packaging of my halo - every detail has been really thought through. Nothing random and that also makes it more environment friendly which is super important.
I also got the silk pillow case - omg i can't even, i can't ever go back to cotton now, haa haa :D
Anyway, Sitting Pretty halos are my fav and all the things that i was afraid at first (unnatural, uncomfortable, difficult to use - all of these worries turned out exactly the opposite + it is not damaging your own hear and skin. Nr 1 argument for me).

Easy to use & blends perfectly!
I ordered my halo piece after a long time of battling with hair loss through burnout. The halo is great quality, easy to use, perfectly matches my colour and blends incredibly after my hairdresser cut it to match my haircut. She was also impressed with the colour match and high quality! I recently wore it to an event for the first time, and it gave me so much confidence! I am really happy with my purchase.

A lifesaver for thin hair!
Makes doing my thin hair so much easier! The colors are great, blend so well, my hairdresser is amazed. Love that there are three thicknesses to choose from.
So quick & easy to use, the clear, thin band is also easy to hide, even in the thinnest hair.

So happy with my purchase!
I've been wearing my halo for about 6 months now. Menopause and aging has caused my hair to break and become very thin. My halo changed my life and my confidence. It takes me 2 minutes to put on and stays in comfortably all day at work....and even during yoga classes! The customer services was excellent in helping me decide which halo would be best for me. Thank you!!
