A note from our CEO: "I want to acknowledge some of the negative reviews we received earlier this year. I won't shy away from saying some of these criticisms are indeed justified, and I want to address them upfront.
In the last 12 months (particularly during 2022) we encountered issues around the clarity of communication concerning customs fees for international shipments. Some local tax authorities necessitate customs and duties payments (VAT) to import products into their respective countries. As an importer, you can either pay directly to the tax authority, pay to the delivery company (and they'll pay the tax authority), or pay us during the checkout process (and we'll pay the tax authority). Regardless, customs fees are an inevitable part of the process. Despite our attempts to clearly communicate this on our shipping page and cart, it appears this hasn't been as clear as we'd hoped, leading to discomfort among many. For this, I sincerely apologise.
What matters now is how we are working on this issue. We are actively finding ways to ensure that the customs fees don't spring up as unwelcome surprises.
Furthermore, we've revitalized our customer service department. We have dedicated and passionate customer service team who work full-time (around the clock) to ensure every query is answered, with an impressive goal of replying to all tickets within an hour. In fact, most tickets are currently answered within just five minutes.
We have just finished setting up a new warehouse in UK, to put us closer to our customers and make it easier to provide excellent service, with fast shipping and simplified exchanges. And we are working on our next location in Canada

Great customer service. Answered my questions, and there were many, in an incredibly timely manner. My halo arrived very quickly, but the color was not right, the lovely people at Sitting Pretty suggest another color along with tips on how to make it work. Success. The replacement halo was perfect. I had my stylist cut and color to match my hair. I am beyond happy with the result.

Where do I start? I can’t rate this company more highly! After a bad haircut which chopped off a few inches of my hair I was inconsolable! So I turned to the lovely customer service team at Sitting Pretty to help! They gave me two choices of colours and admittedly I was anxious about which one to choose!! I finally placed an order and paid for my halo, but then I changed my mind about the colour and contacted the team again. They were just wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them to change the order. My order arrived promptly today only a few days after ordering (and with the Easter break in the middle). Wrong color / Over $80 extra for an exchange
Totally wrong color was sent. After request for an exchange i was told i have to pay extra $40 for a correct color (even after using their colormatch guarantee) + shipping from Canada to U.S. and wait for ~2 month. Not impressed at all with this service.

Just wanted to take a moment to clear up any confusion you might have. The additional $40 AUD was actually for upgrading from Fine 12-inch to Medium 12-inch, and it was offered as an option to get your halo to you sooner, especially since the exchange halo you wanted is currently out of stock. 😊
Regarding the colour match, we asked for more photos from you to double-check the shade, as sometimes lighting and different devices can affect how colours appear in photos. We strive for 100% accuracy with our colour matching, but we acknowledge that slight variations can happen due to these factors, resulting to 99.6% accuracy.
And we also offered to cover the return shipping cost from Canada to the US. 😉

I was very skeptical before it arrived and didn’t think my really thin hair would hide it but it’s actually amazing. The presale advice on colour and length was spot on too. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me achieve the hair of dreamt of so easily. Wish I knew about these years ago! I have short hair so didn’t think these would work for me, but it’s brilliant, I’m converted.

I actually love them!!
I was not expecting to love them as much as I do. The hair that I received is amazing quality. I got the light brown/dark blonde 16” extensions in medium thickness. They were pretty close to my hair colour, but I had my hair stylist add some lowlights and toner to them and now they are a perfect match to my hair.
YES you can dye and tone them, but go to an experienced hairdresser who has dyed extensions many times before. They are very quick to put on once you find the proper wire size for your head. They stayed on all day and you literally cannot tell that they are extensions at all. They look beautiful! I love the Velcro clips they included as well, they are necessary trust me. Overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase and happy I decided to take a leap of faith by ordering them.
I have tried many different hair extension brands over the years, and the only ones with great quality in my experience have been the $600+ packs of hair, which just isn’t doable for me or most other people. I am impressed with this company and so happy with my hair.

As someone who has worn bead and weft extensions for almost 15 years because of medication causing bad hair loss and breakage, my hair has just never had the chance to be nourished the way it needs so it’s been a never ending vicious cycle until now! Dealing with this company has been a 5 star experience. From their friendly, quick colour matching service which is incredibly accurate, to their prompt responses to any further queries I had, my experience with sitting pretty was very positive. Way above expectations
Way above expectations! A MUST buy.
I will be honest I was nervous to buy as I was unsure as to how good the colour match would be from a photo. I was wrong, the colour match is perfect, so much that no one can tell I have extensions in.
What I love most is how easy they are to put in and out and cause zero damage to your hair. My hair has thinned a lot due to pre-menopause and I was worried about damaging my hair and possibly losing more with traditional extensions or clip ins.
The halo is comfortable and feels secure once you have combed your hair over the string. I have styled the hair exactly as my own and curls hold well.
Overall I am even considering buying a second set now in a different length to change things up! Don’t hesitate just go for it, I feel 10 x more confident now!

I am so happy with my halo
I am so happy with my halo! The only reason I’m giving a 4/5 and not 5 is because I had a bit of trouble with receiving the wrong product or items missing in the box. However, saying this, the staff in the customer service team were absolutely fantastic. Their reply’s were prompt and they never hesitated to fix the problem the best and as fast as they could. My first colour match wasn’t a success but that is understandable, I was later re-colour matched and unfortunately was sent the wrong item. As soon as I contacted the team they sent me a return label and posted the correct item, which once I used was absolutely fantastic. The colour match was all but perfect and I had multiple people coming up to be during the day saying how gorgeous my hair was and they were truly shocked when I said I had extensions in. All in all, a great customer service experience and so happy with my final product!

A lot of my hair has fallen out over the past year and it was really upsetting so I kept cutting it off- until I got my halo from Sitting Pretty. Great product and service
I wasn’t sure where to start so before I ordered so I got colour matched. The staff was so great with helping me find the right colour, they emailed back within 24hrs. Since I was between 2 colours they asked me in depth questions via email until they could recommend the right one, and they were fast at getting back to me with that to. My hair is a little bit longer than shoulder length and balayage . I went with 613 and my hair is thin but I have a lot of hair so I went with the thick and settled with 16 length. It was way longer than I thought it would be and it blended perfectly with my ends! Since I went with the thicker halo and It was just a few inches longer than mine, I don’t even need to cut it. Looks like it’s my hair ! My husband couldn’t even tell which was my hair or the halo! Worth every penny.
