The process was easier than completing the CT600 using HMRC's pre April 2026 system for a micro-entity.

The process is good in that you can go through the process until just before submission for free. You only pay when it is time to submit the CT600 to HMRC and the accounts to Companies House. This allows you to double/triple check everything to ensure it is suitable for your accounts before having to part with any money.

The only slight niggle was that some manatory fields would not allow figures to be pasted into them.

This is definately a good value product for simple accounts.

What a wonderful website! And such good value. I have struggled with my first ever company tax return. What had taken hours in Xero, and then failed because it wouldn't allow me to change the dates to those required by HMRC, (and cost me £120!) I did in an hour and a half. I can now sleep tonight that I've met the submission deadline.

Very easy to use and excellent value for money

As we all know we are now in the digital world for HMRC and required to purchase the software for Corporation Tax & VAT submissions.

Our business is very small, and we do not have a great deal of transactions, definitely not enough to justify purchasing accounting software. For years we have used the HMRC tools to do our submissions which has worked fine and dandy, so when I found out we could not I thought flipping heck this is going to be costly!

But I came across Simple Company Tax, which is incredibly reasonable, it is simple and straightforward to use the only problem we had which was at our end was that our internet went down when making a payment before submitting!
But all was fine when it was back up and running.

I completed the return and submitted it in a few hours.

I am a very happy customer who definitely will be returning next year end, and I definitely recommend Simple Company Tax.

Excellent, Simple and Cost Effective
I found SimpleCompanyTax incredibly easy to use. The whole process was straightforward, clear and much simpler than I expected.
It saved me a huge amount of time and made what could have been a complicated and stressful job very easy to complete. The software guides you through everything clearly without unnecessary complexity.
It is also extremely cost effective compared with other options I looked at. For a small company wanting a simple way to deal with its company tax requirements, I would definitely recommend it.
