A masterclass in bad faith. Do NOT buy from Shinzo.
Do not buy from this company. I have spent the last half a year dealing with the most dishonest, bad-faith customer service I have ever experienced.
I bought a pair of £93.81 trousers that suffered catastrophic hardware and fabric failures within just 7 to 8 light wears. The buckles snapped, a button fell off, and a hole tore in the fabric. Instead of taking accountability for a defective premium product, Shinzo dragged me through a 7-month maze of shifting goalposts and fabricated excuses:
1. The Ghosting: They completely ignored my emails for weeks, later admitting an inbox was left "unattended" because an employee went on holiday. This lack of response forced me to open a bank chargeback.
2. The System Lies: They repeatedly claimed their "system" prevented them from issuing a refund while the chargeback was active , and that they had to wait for the bank to decide. I provided them with direct proof from my bank stating this was false and that Shinzo could accept the chargeback at any time to resolve it.
3. The Retroactive Policy: Once caught in that lie, they suddenly demanded the physical trousers be returned before they could proceed. A representative explicitly admitted in writing that this mandatory "store policy" was never mentioned to me during months of prior correspondence.
4. The Final Betrayal: Because the garment was unwearable, I thought it had been thrown out. However, I recently found the trousers packed in a box in my cellar. I immediately emailed Shinzo to say I could meet their final demand and asked for the return shipping label so we could close the case. Their response? The exact second I met their condition, they changed the rules again. They refused to provide a return label and told me that even if I paid out of my own pocket to ship their defective product back, a refund was "not guaranteed".
This company operates with absolutely zero integrity. They will sell you a product that falls apart in weeks, lie about their payment systems, enforce secret retroactive policies, and then refuse to honor their own terms when you comply with them. A completely absurd and shameful business. Stay far away.

Received my Clasp Jacket recently after a minor delay but was definitely worth the wait. Quality and fit is one of the best I’ve bought feels great on and the designs of these jackets are so unique definitely a point of difference compared to other brands. Highly recommended if you’re after designer labels without the hefty price tags

Vorsicht: Systematische Hinhaltetaktik und Betrug – Finger weg!
Ich kann nur dringend vor diesem Shop warnen. Hinter der schicken Fassade steckt ein System, das darauf ausgelegt ist, Kundengelder einzubehalten und Rückzahlungen mit allen Mitteln zu verhindern.
Meine Erfahrung im Detail:
• Hinhaltetaktik: Nach einer nie gelieferten ersten Bestellung wurde mir ein "Store Credit" regelrecht aufgedrängt. Als auch die zweite Bestellung Probleme machte und nachweislich am 30.12.2025 retourniert wurde (Zustellung belegt), verweigert der Shop nun jede Rückzahlung.
• Lügen gegenüber PayPal: Der Shop nutzt die 180-Tage-Frist von PayPal schamlos aus. In der Kommunikation werden Unwahrheiten verbreitet, um den Käuferschutz auszuhebeln. Aktuell behauptet der Support ("Louis"), ich hätte einem Store Credit als finalem Ersatz zugestimmt – eine glatte Lüge!
• Zensur: Auf Instagram werden kritische Kommentare und Nachfragen zu verbleibenden Rückzahlungen sofort gelöscht und Kunden blockiert, um das betrügerische Bild nach außen sauber zu halten.
• Rechtswidriges Verhalten: Trotz vorliegender Strafanzeige (Aktenzeichen liegt PayPal und Shopify vor) und nachgewiesener Retoure wird die Auszahlung verweigert. Einbehaltung von Geld UND Ware ist schlichtweg Unterschlagung.
Ich habe aufgrund dieses Geschäftsgebarens bereits Strafanzeige wegen Betruges erstattet (Aktenzeichen liegt vor). Wer ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht hat, sollte diesen Schritt ebenfalls gehen.
Spart euch das Geld und den Stress. Dieser Shop arbeitet mit absolut unseriösen Methoden und respektiert keinerlei Verbraucherrechte.
Nachtrag:
Das Geld wurde mir nicht vollständig erstattet, wie shinzobrand hier schreibt, sondern in Form eines Guthabens in deren System hinterlegt. Dem habe ich nie zugestimmt, und die Preise steigen kontinuierlich, was mein Guthaben effektiv mindert.
Die „direkte Kommunikation“, von der sie hier schreiben, ist alles andere als direkt und konstruktiv. Meine Mails werden Tage bis Wochenlang ignoriert, und ich bekomme erst eine Antwort sobald ich massiv eskaliere.

Worst Customer Service & Absolute Liars. NO REFUND
I was repeatedly told that my refund had been processed, yet there is no record of any transaction. Asked for confirmation, refuse to provide. Instead, I was given the same response over and over nothing but fraud.
This company is very misleading and extremely unprofessional took me 2mths to get any replies. If a refund is issued manually, there should be clear evidence — but they failed to provide any mutiple times after AMEX confirmed this since FEB.
Avoid at all costs if you expect honesty, transparency, or basic customer service. Report to Fair Trading & NCAT. This has been dragging out since Jan '26. Lies, Lies & More lies.. Absolute worse

Stay Away From This Brand
I ordered a jacket as part of the Black Friday drop on 4 December, costing £213.00, with the website stating free UK shipping in 2–5 days.
Following my purchase, Shinzo sent out a series of general and vague update emails regarding shipping delays on 18th, 23rd, and 26th December, followed by another update on 5 January referring to “remaining” Black Friday orders. These emails were not order-specific and did not provide clear timelines or tracking information.
Due to the value of the item and the lack of direct updates, I contacted Shinzo in December to ask for a status update on my order. Over the following weeks, I was given multiple reassurances that the order would be dispatched by certain dates, but these deadlines passed without any dispatch confirmation.
Eventually, after nearly two months, I was informed that the jacket had been oversold and placed on backorder due to warehouse and stock issues. I did ultimately receive a refund, but this only happened after repeated follow-ups and persistent chasing.
While I appreciate that the refund was issued in the end, the overall experience involved long delays, inconsistent communication, and misleading delivery expectations.
I’m leaving this review so other customers can make an informed decision before ordering.

Received my first jacket quickly after…
Received my first jacket quickly after first placing an order. Had to wait longer for the second one but after sending an email out they informed me of it's situation and cleared any confusion. Only issue would be waiting times can get long but it's a relatively small team during Black Friday.

No jacket, no money
I received no information regarding shipping, etc., for over a month after placing my order, so I cancelled it. Now, despite numerous emails, I've been waiting for my refund (over €260) for about a month. Looking at Instagram shows that I'm not the only one affected. Shinzo Paris is deleting critical comments or not allowing them in the first place.
I‘ve now opened up a PayPal refund case. Please do not order on this website! It’s either a scam or they‘re hiding something else.

Definitely a scam
I ordered a jacket on their website on December 4, but since I never received my product, I sent numerous emails, but they don't respond, their communication is non-existent. I just received an email regarding the tracking of my product, but since there has been no progress, I advise you not to buy Shinzobrand products. I think it's a scam.

Non existent customer service
They sent the item to me, which was smaller than described. Then when I emailed about an exchange, they replied to my first message saying I could start the process but then almost 3 weeks have now passed and they haven’t replied to 4 of the follow up emails I’ve sent.
