Their swimwear is very average and not suitable if you have a bigger bust.

Crappy returns policy too - where they only issue a store credit. Which is useless if their swimwear doesn’t fit your body.

It’s on me for not reading their returns policy properly - but if you can’t try it on in person, you think they’d have a bit more flexibility.

I ordered a selection of swimwear which didn't turn up although I was promised it was being sorted. I orded another lot of swimwear, the day after saw it was discounted so ordered more. The last order arrived first a little to big but as I had nothing else I wore it to swim. The second order came in and I decided to return the pieces that did not fit. My first order finally arrived minus the pieces I particularly wanted. I received the exchanged items only to discover that I had been sent the wrong size. It is just under a month that I have been waiting to be given an address to return the unsuitable pieces after numerous emails requesting a way to return them. It has completely tainted how I feel about the company.

This second order was delivered promptly and they feel great. Thank you.

Love love the Terry Wrap Dress in Sprout colour I'm a size 14 but by the measurements I ordered a Size 16 which is still great just a bit more to wrap around. Great quality and gd length I'm 174cm tall

I have repeatedly requested assistance to process a return and refund because the company’s returns/credit portal is not accessible to me.

I have explained multiple times that I cannot initiate the credit/refund myself, which is required before the items can be mailed back. Despite this, assistance has been refused, and I have been told I must complete the process independently.

This has created a circular situation where I cannot return the items without initiating the refund/credit, and I cannot initiate the refund/credit without help. The issue is not the refund amount, but the refusal to provide reasonable assistance to complete their required process.

I am still waiting for a practical resolution.

Good communications, super product and great returns policy. The racer back seems slightly smaller in the bust and they made it easy to return (or exchange)

It took over a month to deliver. I had to follow up and by the time they got to my order they did have it my size or design available anymore. Then they sent the wrong size.
While they apologise over email, the returns policy is an absolute farce. They sold out and replacement options are utter rubbish.
I have email evidence of them offering a refund for their error but then radio silence about providing a returns label with the refund.
Dodgy dealers masking as a small business.
The quality was underwhelming once arrived, but I was tainted by the fact that the swimmers were delivered after I left for a beach holiday.

I’ve purchased from Sheila May Swim several times now. This was the first time I needed to send something back. I chose to swap size 18 shorties plus for size 16 high waisted high cut briefs with immediate exchange. This meant shipping was taken care of and it was a really quick and easy process. Even though I’m in North Queensland near the top of our country and Sheila May is at the bottom end, postage was pretty quick. It’s lovely knowing you can buy with confidence and return or exchange goods without any hassle. One of the best online stores I’ve dealt with.

Order placed Nov 24 with Sheila May Swim. Package was incorrectly addressed and sent to the wrong person on 4 December. After a week of follow up, I received 2 items on Dec 22. Remaining items were lost; refunds were processed.
Rash vest just fits but sits high on the neck (runs small in the bust an fab would have been better for me and a lower neckline). Shorties plus leg length is too short for me. Material is same as cozzies ie thin and fully lines show visible cat whiskers, have no side seams which I think is strange, run large overall, and sits too high on my front waist. The resolution took too long and required repeated follow-up. I would recommend ticking the option to sign for your package to avoid this type of experience.

I bought the embrace swim top tie top in black. The ties are good. The fabric is flimsy and the top rides up. I’m wearing Kmart bikini bottoms with the top and they’re better fabric. Waste of $

I had ordered a size and style that didn’t suit me and on contacting the staff they were very quick with the reply with advice on style and size. My return of my original order and the arrival of my new order was quick and effortless. The product itself is beautifully made and I can’t wait to wear them at the beach this Christmas.

The models being generally curvy really do show how the bathers will look, the videos are very helpful to demonstrate how the product will fit which made me feel comfortable buying online.

I'm generally too tall for one piece bathers so this product is ideal.

Also the racer back offers great support.

Easy to order, great range, quick postage

I have wanted to try Sheila May swimwear for a long time and finally bit the bullet. I avoided purchasing for so long because they are expensive and I only swim laps but I wanted something colourful and with good coverage.

I am normally a 16. Followed the size chart and went with my regular size and unfortunately the sizing was way off. Both top and bottom were very baggy and unflattering. I have small boobs and the cups made me look like I was dressing up in my mums clothes. Unfortunately refunds are not an option and you also have to pay return postage. I exchanged for a different style and colour as I also didn’t like what I originally purchased in the flesh. I also went down a size. Again, the bathers didn’t fit. The high cut ride straight up my bum but are baggy all over and the 2 layers looked lumpy as they aren’t a firm fit. The shorties have seams in strange places and lots of loose fabric in my crutch.

I’ll keep the shorties because they offer some coverage but the high cut I will never wear. Unfortunately there is nothing left that I’d like to try at the store as I need bathers for swimming laps (so something fitted). I give up. It’s such a shame as the bathers look lovely on all the models but they don’t fit my body type. I am short, chubby and have no boobs. I am a true 16 and a size 14 was too loose. I will donate the bathers to the op shop and hopefully get over spending nearly $250 for a pair of ill fitting shorties.

It seems most other people have success with these bathers so it’s not a criticism of the company, it’s just that I didn’t have any luck with my body shape and I desperately wish they offered refunds and free return postage. That would have been a game changer.
