I'm doing the SheCodes Front End Development Plus course, and I’m beyond disappointed. The experience has been frustrating from start to finish. The instructor's teaching style is confusing—he constantly goes back and forth on explanations, making it difficult to follow along. The videos feel outdated and could definitely benefit from a much-needed update with a clearer script to reduce confusion. Instead, it feels like we’re stuck with poor-quality content that does nothing to simplify the learning process.

Worse yet, when you go to check the reviews on their website, you can't filter them—so of course, only the glowing reviews are shown. It's disingenuous. I did the Basics course, which was great, so I had high hopes for this one, but the Plus course has been an absolute nightmare. I feel so frustrated that I could cry, knowing there are still so many weeks left to endure.

It feels like such a waste of time and money. They claim you'll leave as a junior developer, but I can assure you, that’s far from the reality. If I could turn back time, I would NEVER sign up for this course. It feels like just another case of a man selling a subpar course to women, capitalizing on false promises.

Stay away from this one if you value your time, energy, and money!

I don't need to take a break, I need clear instructions from the teacher. When I say he goes back and forth, it's not in a good way, he goes back and forth like "This is complicated but you don't need to understand this so let's skip this" or "I don't really know what I'm doing but that's how the coding journey is like". I believe he already made enough money and he could write a script and make videos with clear instructions.

And really, you need to enable the filter on the reviews if I had seen any of these bad reviews I found on TrustPilot I would NEVER have bought the course.

I just completed the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics workshops, and they were absolutely amazing! The sessions were super engaging, interactive, and fun. The hands-on approach kept me excited to learn, and I now feel much more confident in building my own web projects. Highly recommend to anyone looking to dive into web development!

I've completed both the basics and basics add-on courses and I think its amazing, the bite-sized challenges in the lessons help the information stick into my brain, and the final projects were very fun to do! My personal favourite highlight was learning about making light/dark modes on webpages!

My experience at SheCodes has been nothing short of transformative! Before joining, I had no background in coding, and the tech world seemed like this big, intimidating space. However, from the very first lesson, SheCodes made everything accessible and fun. The lessons are broken down into bite-sized pieces that make it easy to follow along, even for beginners like me.

What I love most is how interactive the platform is—after learning a concept, you get to practice it immediately, which really helps with retaining the information. The challenges and projects push you to apply what you’ve learned, and the sense of accomplishment after completing them is so rewarding.

The community aspect is another highlight for me. Whether it's the Slack channels or feedback from instructors, there’s always someone willing to help when you get stuck or celebrate your wins with you. I really appreciated how supportive and encouraging everyone is. It made the learning process so much more enjoyable!

I came into SheCodes Basic with curiosity, and now I’m leaving with real coding skills. I’ve built my own landing page, and learned how to write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I’m excited to keep going. This course has not only boosted my confidence but also opened my eyes to the endless possibilities in tech.

This course was above my expectations. I have already made some unsuccessful attempts to learn web development. I would usually quit because the explanations were not clear enough. However, this course is different as it is clear and concise. The tutorials are correct to the point, especially for JavaScript. I managed to learn a lot from the Basic course only. I will be moving into the more advanced Plus course. I also like the flexibility of deadlines, as sometimes life happens, and it is good that extensions are possible.

I would like to express my gratitude for the incredible learning experience provided. The lecturer is truly outstanding, offering clear and easy-to-understand explanations, which make even the most complex topics approachable. The duration of the lessons is perfect—just enough time to cover everything in detail without feeling overwhelming. Additionally, the access to extra resources has been incredibly helpful, allowing us to deepen our understanding and continue learning beyond class time. Overall, the combination of a great lecturer, well-timed lessons, and excellent support materials has made this course an exceptional experience!

SheCodes has been the best experience ever and l love coding as l have learnt a lot from it.I now know html and Javascript which is great because I'm doing computer science at school and got a lot of modules that come up with questions based on the two so I'm very happy that l get to know some of the things before l even learn in class but on SheCodes instead 😀

This has been an amazing journey. Challenging at times but definitely worth it.

I have been trying to learn to code for a while now, and I have started programmes with several training providers. As a complete beginner (and someone in her 40s who is TERRIBLE at all things computers!) SheCodes is by far the best I have found. The explanations are clear, there are plenty of resources, the course structure is fantastically well organised, and - most importantly for me - you feel like part of a community and have the reassurance that help is there if you need it.

I'm impressed by how good the teacher is, the interactivity and that every lesson has a challenge attached to it to ensure that the learner is understanding what's going on. The Solutions at the end of every challenge also are very helpful in opening the mind to more than one way of achieving the same results.
It's just amazing ....
