Worst medical record request experience ever. Still trying to fix a situation after a week and was quoted 1-2 business days after payment. I have made Multiple inquiries and it is a complete nightmare and I still don't have the documentation I Need for work.

Last year I had a suspicious growth on my back. I went to millineium imaging for scan. Had to get disc for up coming neurologist appointment. I paid for this disc twice. 6 months later, still couldn't get it from share care. Obviously neurologist canceled my appointment. I had to go to facility that did imagine and demanded copy. Sharecare needs to be sued big time. They put my health at risk! NO SHARECARE FOR ME!!
Records Are Wrong and No One Helps you
the facility I wanted records from did not confirm that they used ShareCare. I did not receive any emails from ShareCare confirming the delivery of the records. I contacted ShareCare Customer Service and they told me it was a tech issue and to contact tech support. You can only do so in writing. Over 11 days and I had to use Reddit to resolve this issue with nothing from Tech Support. Then I finally get access and the records are incomplete. I question what is the point of a third-party service for records if they don't even confirm it is correct/complete?
Terrible company
I had to take a Leave of Absence from my work due to an injury that occured at work. I went to the doctor to get the accommodation request filled by filling out the necessary paperwork. I then was informed about ShareCare a third party company they use to fill out forms. The first time they filled out my form it was done incorrectly. Called for a correction, got the updated form, still wrong. Called again, waited a week, got nothing back. Called a third time, just received updated form AGAIN, IT IS STILL WRONG AND FILLED OUT INCORRECTLY. I don't know what is so hard to understand with this company that they can't fill out a simple form right. Working with them has been a nightmare and I have to call back yet again to get it corrected once more because they can't do their job. Horrible company, I have to have the form submitted by a certain time and I can't even get it filled out correctly. I'm never going to another doctor who uses Share Care ever again I will avoid them with my life, the incompetence of these people is baffling.
No respect for patient needs.
I went to Dr #1 for a problem and an xray was taken. I wanted to get second opinion from Dr. #2 and he asked for a copy of my xrays. I contacted Dr #1 office to request a copy of my xrays and they referred me to Sharecare. I filed a request with Sharecare which explicitly indicated in several places that I needed a copy of the xray by a certain date, and that i was willing to come by and pick it. Several days later, and still before my appointment with Dr. #2, I received and electronic request for a $6.50 fee for the xray cop which I paid immediately by credit card. Sharecare did not respond to me prior to my appointment with Dr. #2, so he had to do another xray. About a week after my appointment with Dr.#2 I received in the mail a copy of a written report from my visit to Dr. #1, but no xray. I can only conclude that, like many other large businesses in monopolistic positions, they do not care about customer satisfaction, only they profit margin.
ShareCare Doesn't Care
They have a 30 day turn around for records & they do not account for any emergency situations. They provide wrong contact information & do not respond to email correspondence. The staff is argumentative & as unhelpful as it is possible to be. My doctor is lovely but having this company in charge of my records makes me extremely uncomfortable.
Horrible, Inefficient, and Incompetent
Horrible. Took me 3 months to get the correct records. They have a serious language barrier and couldn’t understand the specific records I needed because two doctors offices had the same three acronyms in their name. Then, they took so long to send me the correct records that I had to keep rescheduling my appointment. Text, phone call, email,…I tried them all. None of the staff understood their mess up. And the doctors’ office? “Nothing we can do. They manage the records.” Nightmare all around!!! Guess this is what happens when you are more interested in cheaping out than actually being efficient and effective at managing your clients’ records.
Ripping off customers with their incompetency
This company is horrible. My doctor uses them to fill out forms for accommodations and they are beyond shady. They charged me $30 to fill out a form and filled it out incorrectly. Now they want another $15 to correct their error. I cannot believe OrthoCarolina uses such a shady outfit. They should be ashamed that their patients are being ripped off in this manner.
Sharecare caused a TWO MONTH DELAY in my healthcare
I have been asking for my health records, specifically x-rays and MRI's so that I could get a second opinion from a neurologist. I've been asking for over TWO months!!!!! And with each submission for records, sharecare customer service or the sharecare website finds a way to drop information, screw up the dates of service or just royally lose my application. I've had to pay invoices for "records" that don't include any information at all, just to get sharecare to talk to me. My health is suffering as decisions are being delayed!!!!!! Now I'm just going to get my films direct from my orthopedist. It's a shame that they have paid for the sharecare service and I have too, but then we have to bypass sharecare to get my records to the neurologist.
Make sure your doctor doesn't work with this comany.
I've been out of work on disability and the checks stopped coming because sharecare was apparently waiting on me to pay them to fill out some papers. Let me spell it out. These people do not give a single thought to your health without wondering how they can wring every penny out of you. I never asked for this. I never asked them to fill out anything. This is no better than a crackhead washing your windshield at a red light against you wishes and threatening to call the cops if you don't pay. These people are actual criminals in my eyes and it sickens me that we live in a country where this kind of practice is not only legal but encouraged. If I could give them negative 5 stars every day for the rest of my life until this company is rightfully shit down I would. But what good would that do aye? It's not like any of us had a choice as to whether or not we deal with these people.
They will Delay patient care
They can not seem to get a request completed correctly the 1st time you have to call back a few time then they will take additional 7 days to complete their mistake. They delay patient's care almost daily waiting on them to do their job efficiently. Horrible processing team
Awful company…
Awful company and takes advantage of people. I submitted documentation for maternity leave because for some reason my OB can't lift a pen and fill it out themselves. They are supposed to process paperwork submitted within 24-48 business hours to be processed further after paying a 30 dollar fee. Dionne Lane recieved the paperwork on 10/10 and did not submit for processing until 10/15 and I couldn't pay until 10/16, so that was when they sent it in to start processing. So now my deadline is 10/24 with my job and I won't have the paperwork back from my doctors office, after share care processes it, until days past this deadline. They don't care they affect your FMLA and aren't any help. I don't know why people still use this company and why doctors office just don't do their job and complete paperwork themselves... all my previous doctors did FMLA on site but my OB oh no it has to be sent off and take over 2 weeks to be processed for them to sign off and release to me. So now my maternity leave may be denied which is my rightful time due to share care.
Horrible company! They want money for every step of the process and still don't deliver.
I needed medical records sent from my doctors office to the short-term disability provider. After I placed my request, I received a phone call @ 7:30am stating that I needed to pay a $35 processing fee before they could begin "the process". After paying the fee I received a phone call from my short-term disability provider, saying they had received a 120 page fax, all of them with error messages and an invoice of $64. I called ShareCare and asked them why a recipient of a fax would be charged. Their response was that was "the process". Why would ANY recipient of a fax be expected to pay a fee?

BEWARE OF THIS DISHONEST DOCTOR and her two Corrupt Medical Facility locations one at 3402 Hwy 6, Houston TX and the other at 6825 South Fry Rd, Katy, TX. She is also affiliated with Memorial Herman Medical Center and HCA Houston Healthcare West. I was seeking a new Primary Care Physician and one of my co-workers unfortunately recommended her to me. The doctors office was very familiar with my Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance and how the HRA Insurance worked and took advantage of me, as a 65 year old patient. They required my payment up front knowing that insurance would also pay them the same amount again because it is an BC/BS Health Reimbursement Plan, meaning my company Terracon pays $500 into the account at the beginning of each year and this money is paid to the doctors offices until the $500 is used up. The is just a company incentive and my company's way to help their employees deal with the high cost of medical expenses only to the extent $500 each year but it does help. So after two trips to her facility at the beginning of the year, I paid $141.00 the first time and $117.00 the second time for a total of $258 total. The BC/BS insurance also paid two separate checks to her for the same amount (paid directly to her). I tried speaking with Gwozdz office personnel directly on many occasions and gave them copies of my capital one Bill Pay checks that had been fully processed (cashed) and also copies of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance payments checks but they only denied me. After their continued refusal to reimburse me the money they owe me, I then filed a claim with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU Complaint #21701016. Guess what she is not registered with the Better Business Bureau and they were not able to actually do anything. If she's not corrupt then why is she afraid to register with the Better Business Bureau??? After speaking with my fellow worker's she had also done this to them as well, stealing their money & refusal to reimburse them. I'm not done yet, I'm in the process of taking her to Small Claims Court to show the judge my proof of all the payments in person!!!! Hopefully, the US Legal System will prevail over a Dishonest doctor and medical facilities and put her out of business.
So you decide!!!!! Is this what you want to deal with when going to see a doctor or when your taking a loved one to see a doctor??? Of course not!!
In my 65 years of seeing doctors this has never happened to me before. We don't treat people like this in the United States or Texas because we are Honest American Citizens, but as you can see she hails from Canada!!!
This company favors the doctors
This company favors the doctors. My negative review on their site wasn't posted. This doctor only has 1 positive and several negatives, but they only show the positive under her picture and it's the oldest review. This doesn't help the patients at all. Beware of doctor Aditi Parikh.
No follow through
Customer service always seems helpful, but there is never any follow-through. I was off on leave for 3 months, and they still never gave me my official documentation on why I was off work. I had to go to the medical facility in person and beg for my information. Upon requesting imaging, they still can't get my request fulfilled properly. There is always a problem, and they always say that there is a two business day turnaround where nothing gets done. They give you the runaround over and over. This is one of the worst businesses I've ever had to deal with.

She stated if I paid them they would release my FMLA paperwork? She claims 3 representatives called me so confirmed my cell number it was correct and left a voicemails and they’ve been emailing me. I let her know I have no voicemails from share care representatives. I asked her if she could confirm my email the email that she told me was incorrect so they’ve been sending my medical information to somebody else Email???
seems like a HIPAA violation, seems like they fell to represent themselves to do business with the doctors patients there wasn’t any brochures, business cards there isn’t anything in the doctors office that represents share care this phone call lasted one hour and 25 minutes. There was no one there that would take ownership, accountability or responsibility that they held my FMLA paperwork for 13 days share care doesn’t care about the patients or wanting to resolve any issues. Why should I pay for an unprofessional service? The owners name is Jeff Arnold, and his partner is Dr. Oz.

I'm forced to do business with these clowns even though I pay insurance for the service they provide. Paying to do business is a "Mob protection.racket." These crooks need to be shut down and thrown in prison, in the toughest prison yard imaginable. Prior to this writing, I've never heard of sharecare, I never issued a medical records request. Apparently my FMLA short term disability provider Co tracts with them. They demanded a $30 fee to process "My" medical records I already pay insurance for. This doesn't sound like a scam, this is a scam. Who in the heck asked these snakes to inject themselves in the middle of my Healthcare. If I could give them a negative star rating, I would.
