SCAM COMPANY !!! Avoid buying cinema tickets via Service seats. This company is a complete scam it is supposed to be a discounted service for key workers. This is not a discount you will end up paying more than if you purchased directly via the cinemas website. Emailed the company however had they had no interest and refused to refund. Huge scam.

As mentioned already using this service resulted in costlier tickets than booking direct. NOT TRANSPARENT AT PURCHASE. Also way more faf and had to pay booking fee twice (one for service seats, yhen again when using voucher). Big old piss take. Shouldn't be legal.

STAY AWAY from this site. I was sent used codes. Absolute scam.

Codes never arrived. Customer support never replied. I’m now left completely out of pocket. Avoid this dreadful company.

I've used this many times with Cineworld and it's saved me about £10 every time. Cineworld do apply a booking fee (£1 pp) but it still comes out cheaper. The cinema has got so expensive so it's great having something like this! Just buy the vouchers and use them to book, simple

Too many reviews from people who didn't read the instructions properly here. ALWAYS CHECK the price on the cinema website before buying. With Cineworld it's always been cheaper but with other cinemas I understand sometimes its not as they run their own offers.

I just bought 8 tickets £74.02, they sent me used vouchers!!!!!! I am fuming 😤

Useless voucher. Received a long code and it did not work. Tried several times. Do not buy!!! Waste of money!!

Used this service for Vue cinema tickets on several occasions and never had an issue. Just make sure that your voucher price works out cheaper than direct before purchasing (for my cinema Lux seats are the best value and around £2 cheaper).

Technical error leaves me out of pocket

Booked x4 tickets for a showing bank holiday weekend.
Due to a technical issue with their system, the children’s ticket codes purchased did not work, which meant our family could not attend the event at all. As the booking was made together for a single family visit, the issue with the children’s tickets prevented the adult tickets from being usable in practice.

Reached out to customer service for support which has taken nearly 3 weeks to reply. They decided we could only have a refund for the children’s tickets as the adults tickets could be used?! Pointed out we are not local and will not be attending this cinema again (tickets are for a specific cinema) and got the same response.
Apparently we were expected to leave our children at home and go without them….
Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the customer service and will not use this company again.

It cost more to use this service, full stop. The only way to stop them is for no-one to use them. Blue light card are partially to blame here as you don't get a code but have to order through dedicated site. (special one where you pay more!). do not use.

Absolute scam. Paid and never received my vouchers. Contacted customer support and never heard back. Have to wait now until I can claim fraud with the bank, they essentially stole my money. That Blue Light Card direct to this scam is appalling.

Bought tickets for £8.35 each, tickets at the cinema were £7. No way of getting a refund or using the tickets at a different cinema at a later date. Have used them before at a local cinema to me with no problem. So utterly frustrated that there was no way around this. Had to book seats that I didn’t want to get the ‘discount’ as they wanted an extra £5 per seat to ‘upgrade’ despite the seats only costing £9 directly from cinema. Total con.

Avoid at all costs. Paid for 2 adult tickets and 2 children's, codes arrived but the children's codes didn't work. I have tried numerous times to get in contact with Service Seats, no one replies, nor do Bluelight themselves. I ended up buying the tickets directly from the cinema in the end. I raised a dispute with my bank, who did refund me thankfully.
Please do not use this cowboy company!

I bought service seats vouchers for a showcase cinema film my son and his friends wanted to attend. Vouchers arrived by email - but all the codes had an error message and could not be used. Tried contacting customer services and just got an automated response - 3 days now, and still no reply.

Because service seats are vouchers for cinema, its fair to say I'd think that many people (like me) are most likely paying for them to use immediately to book a film happening in the very near future. So it's an absurdity to have no real time customer service to resolve issues. To avoid my son and his friends missing the film, I had to book the seats directly with the cinema - so have effectively paid twice.

It's extremely poor and makes a mockery of the "here for you because you're here for all of us" line at the end of the automated customer service message. Plus they have the audacity to have a no refunds policy. I have raised a dispute with my bank now over the service seats charge - I dont know if that will work or not, but whatever happens I 100% will never go near service seats again and would strongly advise others against it too.

After purchasing the vouchers I used them on Cineworld website and my booking was cancelled due to it being the wrong location. I have tried to rebook but it says the vouchers have already been used. I have contacted service seats many times and they have not responded and I can see that they will not issue a refund so I will dispute this with my bank. Absolute con of a company avoid at all costs.

I would give 0 if I could it was the worst experience ever! Could not book seats online! We had to go to the cinema as the codes would not work!! Do not purchase. Not worth time and stress and 0 saving!!!!! Beware!!!!!

RIP OFF. You pay for a voucher then add it to odeon thinking this is the final price. Then odeon adds their ticket price. What a scam company. Why on Earth would blue light a respectable company collaborate with scam artists.

Bought 2x VIP tickets for Vue Stratford for a bit cheaper than booking directly, the voucher codes arrived instantly, and was able to redeem successfully online at Vue without any issues, with no booking fee either!

So very happy with the overall result despite initial nervousness having read the poor reviews overall.

Absolute waste of time, dint produce a voucher (£12) for popcorn and drink. Could not redeem women at vue said she needed a voucher number was give a date as the voucher number which of course is inavalid. Robber £12 from me and paid extra £9 for popcorn as the voucher wasn’t valid

sold out tickets and miss-leading descriptions make it impossible to actually save money at my local Vue cinema.
