I had issues with the quality of the glaze on their dinnerware; it marks easily. I contacted them and was treated courteously, but after exchanging several emails—in which they asked for more data, details, photos, and proof—they stopped responding. They never provided an explanation for the problem or a solution.

I ordered a considerable number of glasses from Serax. Unfortunately, one of them arrived broken. It is perhaps worth noting that, somewhat surprisingly, all of the glasses are manufactured in China.

When I contacted Serax to ask how I would be reimbursed for the damaged item, I was asked to provide the tracking number, which I promptly did. Since then, however, I have received no further response, despite several subsequent enquiries.

Given both the handling of the complaint and the complete lack of follow-up, I cannot recommend purchasing from Serax and would strongly advise prospective customers to look elsewhere.

Ich habe bei «perfektes-Geschenk» für über 2000 € Serax Nido Geschirr gekauft. In der Beschreibung hiess es, dass es mikrowellengeeignet sei. Tatsache ist, dass innert kürzester Zeit die Teller in der Mikrowelle platzten. Die geplatzten Teile wurden mir vom Händler letztlich ersetzt mit dem Hinweis, künftig auf die Mikrowelle zu verzichten (!).
Ausserdem soll das Geschirr spülmaschinengeeignet sein. Auch das ist falsch. Trotz strikter Befolgung der Herstellerangaben (z.B. mildes Spülmittel, keine All in 1 Tabs) war die Glasur des Geschirrs nach kurzer Zeit bereits zerstört. Auf die Frage, welches Geschirrspülmittel denn empfohlen werde, kann die nutzlose Antwort: wir können leider kein konkretes Spülmittel empfehlen.
Ich habe mich schliesslich direkt an Serax gewendet und das Problem mit der zerstörten Glasur geschildert. Die defekten Teller wurden ersetzt mit dem Hinweis, ich sei der einzige Kunde mit diesen Problemen (?!). Auch von Serax kam die nutzlose Antwort, dass kein konkretes Spülmittel empfohlen werden kann. In der Zwischenzeit ist selbstverständlich auch die Glasur der ersetzten Teller zerstört.
Weiter dürfen auch keine normalen Messer auf den Tellern benutzt werden, denn diese hinterlassen auf der Glasur Kratzspuren.
Mein Fazit: Schönes Geschirr, jedoch für die vorgesehene Verwendung völlig ungeeignet

Lovend artikel in NRC over de collectie van Serax. Bestelde voor mijn vrouw 2 bonbonnières. Wij hebben een enorme collectie glas. Bestelde via een webshop van een verdeler in Nederland. Kwam keurig verpakt aan. Maar het dekseltje paste niet. Kan gebeuren. Dus ik stuur de Bomboniere naar Serax in Belgie met het verzoek om een passend dekseltje te leveren. Simpel toch!

Krijg als antwoord dat Serax zich niet verantwoordelijk voelt voor deze productiefout.

Dit geloof je niet!

Het is dus zeer onverstandig om online bij Serax te kopen. Een potje of een glaasje. Dat risico kun je lopen.

Maar een servies of iets dergelijks, vooral niet doen. Jammer, ze hebben mooi dingen.

Nb: verzocht mijn Bonbonnière waarvan het deksel niet past aan mij terug te sturen. Tot nu toe, niets ontvangen. Denk dat het er nooit van gaat komen

Wir haben uns für Serax entschieden, weil uns das Design wirklich sehr gut gefällt. Umso enttäuschter sind wir von der Qualität des Geschirrs.

Bereits nach relativ kurzer Zeit haben sich bei mehreren Teilen Absplitterungen und Risse gebildet. Zudem sind uns verschiedene Verarbeitungsmängel aufgefallen, die wir bei einem Produkt in dieser Preisklasse nicht erwartet hätten. Das Geschirr wurde ganz normal genutzt und sorgfältig behandelt.

Optisch ist Serax ohne Frage etwas Besonderes und macht auf den ersten Blick einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Leider entspricht die Haltbarkeit unserer Erfahrung nach nicht den Erwartungen, die man bei einer Premium-Marke haben darf.

Schade, denn das Design ist wirklich wunderschön. Aufgrund der Qualitätsprobleme würden wir uns jedoch nicht erneut für dieses Geschirr entscheiden.

I bought an extremely expensive 180cm Virginia table. I am on my 3rd table and no sign of quality. The first table had misaligned base and top screw holes so was unstable. The second table had the wood splitting from one end to the other. The third table has side damage on the top and the base had the laminate cracking and peeling... Oh yes, only the top is real wood, and it's glued strips of wood, not even a decent single piece! The base is laminated!! Total rip off and awful production quality for the exorbitant price!
I have refused to accept a 4th table, but so far Area Store (another useless company) are refusing to refund me the money. Serax and Area, never again!

I had order one of the ceramic (beton) sidetables from Serax which then was delivered broken by an awfull transport company called Dpd. ( I usually try to find company's that do not work with those cowboys , and now I learned again why). They threw the box on the floor and we hearded the table crack. The company ( fonq) that we ordered it from didn't respond at all, so I thought I can try it with a friendly email directly to Serax. They responded quickly with the happy news that they would send us a new table because of the problems with fonq. It arrived very soon so we are now finally happy users of this beautifull Serax table and in the future we will order things directly from Serax. Thanks guys.

I had a question about one of their products. I reached out to them using the chat tool on their site. A confirmation email that they received my message came. The email claimed "our team will get back to you soon." After a couple days, no one had responded, so I sent an email reply. That was 7 days ago and there has still been no response.

If you order from them, better hope everything goes smooth, because they don't provide any customer support. Ever to answer short, two sentence emails.

Serax No 1 Primary Shape Wall Light.

Very poor quality lamps that fell apart in the hands of the electrcican trying to install them. The units a brittle and design is os poor that its inevitable they will crumble in the process. Expensive and poor quality - not a great combination. Do NOT buy

Horrible and terrible customer service at this company. They delivered damaged plates. I shared pictures of the broken plates and still they don’t wanna help me. Expensive products, they let you wait for a very long time for a reaction and the reaction is always customer unfriendly. They just don’t wanna help customers. Never again buying something at this company. I feel robbed!

We ordered plates, and they sent too many. We repeatedly told them to pick up the plates we did not order. In the end, they collect the plates. However, they think we should pay for the plates we did not order and get back the money. I refuse to do this because why should I pay for something I never ordered? Even though I told them I wanted an updated invoice, they still sent the invoice with plates we did not order, plus a reminder fee, which is unreasonable when I have told them several times that I will not pay for what I did not order. I guess they have never heard the word service-minded.

I will not buy Serax plates again for my restaurant, not only because of the poor treatment but also because of the incredibly poor quality of their products.

Servies kapot geleverd. Servies is waardeloos verpakt en meerdere serviesgoed is hierdoor kapot geleverd. Als je meerdere e-mails verstuurd met een vraag voor een oplossing en alle e-mails worden niet beantwoord… is triest!

J’ai acheté deux suspensions modèle PRIMARY SHAPE APPLIQUE n 1
côté design rien à dire en revanche d’un point de vu technique système de fixation à revoir complètement.
Entraxes de percement trop rapprochées.
Espace pour loger les sucres et les câbles d’alimentation trop réduit.
L’applique ne plaque pas suffisamment au mur laissant apparaître les câbles
Prévoir à l’installation électrique des câbles souples.
Beaucoup trop fragile
Résultat une applique à 130€ cassée
Vous n’avez hélas pas de bureaux techniques pour vérifier la faisabilité du montage.
J espère obtenir le remplacement par le modèle wall lamp primary Shape n2 avec lequel je n’ai eu aucun problème

I bought a flower vase from the “sicily” collection.
The bottom of the vase was not well glazed and as result the vase made a permanent huge water stain on my dining table.
When sending the pictures to serax they did not want to take responsibility for the damage caused.
