After about 3 months the unit keeps resetting the apple carplay screen which makes it useless if you have navigation route. You loose the route and have to add it back in and audio resets back to the unit. Reading these reviews it looks like a systemic problem and they would not honor their warranty unless I gave them 1/2 the cost of the unit. I suspect the know this is a systemic problem with their design so getting a new unit will not solve the problem and I would just be wasting my money. I agree to stay away form Seicane. The have a great concept at a great price but terrible execution of the design and they know it.

I purchased a Seicane head unit for my Toyota Corolla 5 years ago. It still works well. Recently I purchased a Seicane head unit for our VW T6 Caravelle. I installed it and it works well with CarWebGuru interface. It has wireless Apple CarPlay which takes 30 seconds to operate from start up. You do have to invest in RAM and ROM so the unit operates satisfactory. Good support from Seicane via AliExpress.

I am only giving Seicane a 1 star review as I can't give them a 0 star review.
Their products are so cheap and nasty that they barely connect to your mobile device either by Bluetooth or WIFI. A 15 minute trip, it takes your maps upto 7 minutes to register that you have actually started moving. Maps continually freeze. Music...What music? The constant drop outs, restarts, and reconnect make your music barely listenable as you barely get 16 seconds of uninterupted music. The after sales service is basically 'We got your money, we know our products are useless and you are not getting a refund', The sort of arrogance you would expect from the Chinese company.

I bought 4 SEICANE Car Radio Androids
I bought 4 Car Radio Androids from Seicane. One just kept resetting every few minutes and no instructions to perfrom a factory reset. I even contacted Seicane into discussion and they said...buy a new one we dont support that version anymore!
I did buy another but I guarantee you it was not SEICANE!

I tried to solve an issue with a product I bought from Seicane by contacting them directly by email. Their failure to provide a satisfactory response, led me to post warnings on several websites.
The product, a Radio Android 12.0 HD Touchscreen 7-inch GPS Navigation System for MITSUBISHI PAJERO SPORT Triton 2014, was promised to be compatible with my vehicle. The system, priced at US$378.99, included features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Carplay DVR support, an 8-core CPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, an AHD Night Vision Parking Camera, and a Carplay Android Auto USB dongle. However, upon trying to install it, it proved to be incompatible.
The product photo was misleading as it showed the screen and cover as a single unit, when in reality they were separate pieces. This discrepancy made proper installation impossible, as confirmed by the technician who attempted to install the radio.
Seicane's solution was unsatisfactory, offering only a $110 partial refund and suggesting I resell the product. They refused to issue a full refund or provide an acceptable solution. Due to their inadequate response and misleading product representation, I felt it necessary to share my experience on their site, Trustpilot, and Resellerratings, as a cautionary tale for potential customers.

I have never had to write a bad review but here it is. This experience with this company has literally been a nightmare! I bought this car radio back in APRIL. I was so excited to get it. Once it arrived, I saw it had a small crack in the screen so I immediately wrote CS asking to resend one that was not damaged. They only sent me the screen, not a whole replacement...ok, I tried to work with what they gave me, but the new screen was not a touch screen. So I wrote again letting them know my issue. It has been all down hill from there. They have yet to send me any working parts. I even offered to send the radio back once the new one was received. STILL NOTHING. In fact they want me to pay another 100.00 to send this one back...so here we are all the way at the end of JULY and I Still have no working car radio but they have my 300.00. Again I was SOOO HAPPY to get it at first, but this company customer service is so AWFUL that I am left hurt disappointed and annoyed....and i have nothing to show for all the ring a round the rosey BS they've been putting me through and they haven't offered to send me either a brand new radio OR my money back for 3 months of back and forth thru emails and excuses. They just keep asking me to pay MORE after i have already paid 300.00 for the freaking radio...Do not buy from them because if for some reason your product doesn't work...it will not be worth the hassle to get it to...Look elsewhere guys I'm telling now!

Terrible experience. The unit for our 2015 cooper S coupe didn’t work with steering wheel controls. Loads of emails back and forth with no fix. After 3 weeks I took it out and replaced it with a cheaper unit that works fine. $415??? Not worth $50. Buyer be ware

Very bad experience and do not recommend it to anyone who has no knowledge in car radio experience. Was informed by a recognized technician that there was a cable missing and after showing them the pictures, they still argue that the technician was wrong. After 6 roughly 6 weeks of arguing I went to another technician and he said the same thing there was a cable missing but he made one and fixed it. Work for a day then, I had no more sound through Bluetooth, the rest seems to work but can not use my phone or play music from CarPlay and Bluetooth. The unit AM does not work I can’t hear anything.? Also the Bluetooth my callers hear noise when I’m speaking I been complaining to them seicane keep asking videos and audios which I have send to them. I have email them so many times every time they come something different I’m sick of them this company doesn’t have costumer service none of them speak English . I purchased the wrong unit for my R57 mini cooper. I re ordered the correct unit and it's working great. I had a good experience with their customer service. Unit has tons of features.. Every time I contact them with an issue they responded. No issues with the company or radio.

I'm not sure why Seicane get so many bad reviews, ive had a radio in my VW for over 6 years and its still going strong and it looks great. Ive received support from them on 2-3 occasions when ive needed advice on the unit or on accessories, they have always been very helpful, Carrie is very nice indeed. The cost for radios is also very good value, and the installation and options are excellent. So much better than my standard radio. So Im giving them 5 star review and definitely recommend them. Keep it up Seicane.

I would rate a zero if possible. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing the head unit.
Took pictures and they said it was “plug and play”. It was not. After much research. Found out I needed an extension harness due to factory navigation in the trunk. After many email attempts to get the needed harness. I was told they don’t have one or a part number. Their site says I need one and that they would provide it. Complete nonsense! Took our car and unit to a mechanic to have installed. He said, he won’t touch these units. Too many problems. So, stuck with a $385 paper weight. This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are nothing but criminal. If you buy anything from them after reading this. You are an idiot and deserve what you get. Will only purchase from Amazon from now on. I am pissed!!

I’ve had multiple issues with their Android head unit, the most recent one makes it unusable - it buzzes terribly every time I go over a bump. Response times are slow and answered in broken in English. Their solutions are sending me a free noise filter for $25 in shipping, to suggesting a I purchase a new motherboard?? They say their head units come with a 3 year warranty but they do not honor it nor can you actually find the full text of the warranty anywhere.

Apparently mistakes made by the company for sending a broken unit became mine and they do not want to take the radio head unit for a replacement. No one replies my emails worst customer service ever. 5. Possibility to see in the settings that u can update ur firmware, and impossibility to find firmware file somewhere
