Very easy to open a new savings account and the mobile app is good

I opened a 1 year fixed ISA & completed a transfer In form from RBS & I checked by phone that I had done this correctly. On the day of maturity I telephoned RBS to just check the transfer was in place, they said they had not received it (after 16 days with Secure Trust), I called STB they said they had mailed me a form which needed my actual signature- this had never arrived. I realised even though they mailed another form, there would not be enough time before my funding window closed. I closed this account. And I see this is a common problem with STB.

Great support was offered in carrying out my instructions. Very polite and carried through what the agents said would be done. Many thanks.

Any of their staff whom i have spoken with have always been extremely patient and and helpful and ready tocarry on despite dealing with a slow learner.

Found Secure Trust Bank via Money Saving Expert website. Very easy to get my Savings account opened and online banking and app up and running. Withdrawals and deposits so quick & easy. I’ve also just opened a new savings account with a higher interest rate online all done in a few minutes after a chat with customer services. The interest rates are favourable and the ease of use and app really great. All round 5 stars from me!

I had an ISA and was pleased with the ease of opening my account. However, Secure Trust left it so late to inform me of my options upon maturity (13 days) that I transferred the account to another provider that I know gives plenty of time as the account approaches maturity to weigh up my options. I was pleased with the efficiency of the transfer to my new provider. Thank you.
